In this Field Test Shooting Video I give the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol my usual Indoor Sea Can shooting field test using my Chronograph to see what the average 5 shot velocity is with .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s. I then shoot 10 rounds in semi auto at a paper target setup 30 feet down range using a seated shooting position with my hands rested on a sand bag up front for stability to find out what the accuracy is in semi auto mode. I follow this up with a full mag demo in full auto to see how large of a spread we get with this gun jumping around. Starting off with my Chronograph test, the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol was able to get a 5 shot average of 392 fps with the fasters round hitting 400 fps and the slowest Airsoft BB recording 387 fps. Again I was using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and the indoor temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius which is close to 70 degree Fahrenheit for reference so so the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol performed even better than the claimed on the box 380 fps.
Moving on to the accuracy portion of my Field Test Test for the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol, I carefully placed 10 rounds into my fresh paper target and was a bit dissapoitned in the rather spread out group I got. I feel like this is because of the high fps and lighter choice of Airosft BB I used for this test. When shooting a gun with higher fps it is best to use heavier Airsoft BB’s at least when it comes to accuracy as they won’t get that beach ball effect of floating around so much. I did also shoot the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol in Full auto which does rock around a lot because of the heavy blowback recoil and as expected BB’s kind of went all over but if I was shooting at a human sized target from that range I am sure most rounds would have found their intended target.
Overall the KWC DE L6 Desert Eagle CO2 Blowback Full Auto Airsoft Pistol is a really nice Airsoft pistol. I love the way it looks and feels to hold in the hand and the blowback operation is very noticeable. It also shoots really hard for an Airsoft Pistol and other than the semi auto accuracy which may be corrected using heavier BB’s, it really does have a lot going for it. I may have to test it out again using heavier Airsoft BB’s to see if this improves accuracy for me at 30 feet out.
Starting with what the actual velocity of the KWC 24/7 TAC Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol. I made sure to keep the Sea Can and Airgun nice and warm before making this test and I also placed a brand new 12 gram CO2 cartridge in it and went with lead pellets I am guesstimating where around 7 grain so not super heavy or super light, definitely not high velocity alloy pellets. I was a bit shocked that my average fps was no where near the claimed 360 fps. My 5 shot average came to 259 fps with a couple shots even shooting under 200 fps which I through out. Is that good enough for shorter range plinking? I would say so but but way off the claimed 360 fps. Maybe the manufacturers claim was using high velocity light weight alloy pellets?
Next as with all my Field Test Shooting Videos for the KWC 24/7 TAC Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol I performed my accuracy portion of the test and reloaded the 16 round magazine which is actually a dual 8 round rotary magazine you manually switch sides to unload all rounds. My first 8 shots for the most part where decently centered perhaps a bit to the right but the grouping was rather spread out close to a around 5 inches maybe even a bit more. I then rotated the magazine to the other side of fully loaded pellets and this time I had several malfunctions/jams where rounds did not rotate properly therefore getting squished rather than going down the barrel. I have a feeling this is a problem with this specific magazine as I had the same problem during my Velocity test. I even switched to pointed pellets for the accrual test from flat head pellets but it did not seem to help. The best I could do on this day with this gun was to get around a 5-6 inch grouping which is not very good for a pellet shooter at 30 feet out
As I mentioned in the video I only test the guns, I don’t make them and as with any product out there it is possible I got a lemon since it seems to me like only one side of the rotary magazine was giving me the problems with jamming pellets. That said even the side that was more consistent did not shoot a very tight grouping for me. If it was my money to spend and I wanted a 24/7 styled Replica Airgun I would probably go with the blowback CO2 BB version since I had a lot better performance from that pistol with the addition of blowback action and a much lighter single action trigger.
In this Field Test Shooting Review of the KWC PM Makarov Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol I find out what the actual Velocity is and how accurately I can shoot it at a paper target setup 30 feet down range. Starting with what the actual velocity of the KWC PM Makarov Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol. I made sure to keep it nice and warm before making this test and I also placed a brand new 12 gram CO2 cartridge in it and went with lead pellets I am guesstimating where around 7 grain so not super heavy or super light, definitely not a high velocity pellets. I was a bit shocked that my average fps was no where near the claimed 340 fps. My 5 shot average came to 263 fps with the highest being 272 fps and the lowest being 256 fps. Is that good enough for shorter range plinking? For sure but far off the called 340 fps. Maybe the manufacturers claim was using high velocity super light weigth pellets?
Next I performed my accuracy portion of the test and reloaded the 12 round magazine which is actually a dual 6 round rotary magazine you manually switch sides to unload all rounds. My first 6 shots I pointed the KWC PM Makarov Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol right at the bulls eye and found out it shoot a bit on the low side so only two rounds actually made it on the paper. I then switched to the other 6 round rotary magazine and aimed a bit higher, this time I was able to get fairly well centered on the target and produce about a 3 inch grouping. So in other words no awards are going to be handed out for this pistol in terms of accuracy or power. By the way I was using my standard shooting stance which is with my hands stabilized on a sand bag up front and sitting on a stool in the back.
The KWC PM Makarov Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol is not listed as any sort of target pistol so I was not expecting world class performance but I was expecting it to shoot a little bit better than your average blowback CO2 BB shooter and it really didn’t at the end of the day. If you’re specifically looking for a pellet shooting Makarov then this will be your Airgun since I am pretty sure it is the only one out there at this time but personally I would go with one of the CO2 Blowback BB versions since they shoot a bit harder and are maybe even more accurate not to mention you also get that blowback recoil with a nice light single action trigger.
In this Replica Airguns Vimeo Field Test Shooting Video I put the KWC / Umarex Mod. 92 A1 andElite Force 1911 TAC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols through my Indoor Sea Can Shooting Test. Fist I find out what the real world velocity is by placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph and average out the FPS. I then shoot 10 rounds on a paper target for 30 feet back using a semi rested shooting position, sand bag up front and seated in the back.
Starting with my velocity test for both CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols I made sure to use a brand new CO2 along with .25 gram Airsoft BB’s so a bit heavier than what was used for the official stats. Both Umarex Airsoft Pistols shot really similar velocities with the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 averaging 364 FPS and the Umarex Elite Force 1911 TAC averaging 365 FPS. If I had been using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s I am sure these numbers would have been closer to the claimed 400 or so FPS.
Moving on to the accuracy test again I performed this test which each Umarex CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. The Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 performed a little bit better than the 1911 with all 10 shots grouping within 1.5 inches and very well centered on the target. The Umarex Elite Force 1911 TAC did have a slightly wider grouping closer to 2 inches and was a lilt bit high on the target but center nicely left to right. Of course the full auto mode on the Umarex Beretta Mod. 92 A1 did not produce anything even close to a tight group but it is always fun shooting in full auto :)
All in all both of these KWC / Umarex CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols performed well for me in terms of meeting their expectations for velocity and accuracy. We have them in our online Replica Airguns Stores in either KWC Unlicensed or Umarex Licensed versions so take your pick!
I was hoping this Field Test Shooting Video would go off without a hitch but I did stubble with the laser a bit, I like to shoot guns straight out of the box without really sighting them in but in the case of an add on laser I was expecting to do some sight adjustments. To my surprise when I placed the laser on the Crosman P1 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Pistol the laser red dot lined up almost perfectly with the open sights. Sounds great but during my actual test it seems that the heavy blowback action may have nocked the laser sight around placing the laser red dot way to high making the Crosman P1 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Pistol shoot really low for this test. I did figure it out via some trial and error and was able to pull off this Field Test Shooting Review in the end for everyone…
Starting with the Chronograph portion of the Field Test Shooting Video, I placed 5 shots through my Chrony and was able to get an average fps of 315. The temperature was not really cold or hot so on a warmer day I would expect around 330 to 340 fps. I did accidentally shoot off around 5 rounds in full auto at the beginning which may have effected the first couple of higher velocity shots that come out when you are using a new CO2 but there results I got I was happy with and give a more realistic velocity fo the Crosman P1 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Pistol.
Next I placed 10 rounds into my paper target setup 30 feet down range and did my best to get them on the paper, as mentioned I had to figure out exactly where the laser red dot was pointing in relation to where the BB’s where hitting and once I figured this out I was able to get 10 rounds all within about 2 inches of each other so not bad for a Blowback CO2 BB Pistol. of course the included Laser Sight is adjustable for windage and elevation so I could line up the laser red dot with the actual shot placement which is something you can not do with the non adjustable open sights.
All in all the Crosman P1 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Pistol with Laser performed much like all the other KWC PT92 CO2 Blowback Beretta/Taurus type Airguns, the laser red dot simply allows for a more visual and perhaps faster way to place BB’s on your target, at least once you get it sighted in of course!

As always with my Indoor Filed Test Shooting Videos I test out the velocity of each Airgun along with the accuracy but in this case I want to see how a nearly 20 year old Blowback BB Pistol stacks up agains a much more modern similar BB Pistol. The closest CO2 Powered Blowback BB Pistol to the Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol as far as I could tell was the KWC Makarov Full Blowback BB Pistol since both are about the same size, share a similar look and design, have similar velocities and should perform relatively the same.
I’m not going to give it all alway in this written version of my Umarex Walther PPK/S CO2 Blowback BB Pistol Field Test Revisit, so you will ahed to watch my YouTube Video to find out. I will say both guns performed well and for the first ever working slide with simulated blowback action BB pistol ever made, I would say it holds its own against todays more modern airgun designs.
This is a bit of a different test than my usual Indoor Field Test Shooting Video I make here in the Replica Airguns indoor shooting range. I don’t test the feet per second with my Chronograph, I don’t test how accurate each gun is shooting in semi auto. Instead this Full Auto BB Rifle comparisons is to find out which Full Auto BB rifle has the highest rate of fire and which one stays on target the best shooting 25 rounds in full auto, all in one burst.

I wanted to compare the KWC/Cybergun PT 24/7 G1/G2 BB and Airsoft Pistols to each other in the Replica Airguns Indoor Airgun Shooting Range to see how they compare side by side not only in terms of accuracy but also what their Feet Per Second Velocity performance would be.
Like all my Field Test Shooting Videos I place 5 rounds through my Chronograph and average out the fps to see what their real world velocity is using a brand new CO2 along with standard 4.5mm Steel BB’s and .25 gram 6mm Plastic Airsoft BB’s. I then place a paper target 30 feet down range and proceed to put 10 rounds from each gun into a fresh paper target to see not only how close the Airguns shoot to the bullseye out of the box but also how close each 10 round grouping is.
All of the KWC Cybergun Taurus PT 24/7 G1/G2 BB and Airsoft Pistols performed fairly well, the KWC PT 24/7 G1 NBB Steel BB Pistol as expected had the highest velocity at close to 400 fps while the KWC PT 24/7 G2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol with the slightly heavier then normal Airsoft Plastic BB’s shot closer to 300 fps. The KWC PT 24/7 G2 Blowback Steel BB Pistol shot just over 300 fps.
In terms of accuracy The KWC PT 24/7 G1 NBB Steel BB Pistol had one of the tighter grouping close to 2 inches but shot a fair amount to the left of the bullseye. The KWC PT 24/7 G2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol shot well centered left to right but low on the target with a spread of just over two inches and the KWC PT 24/7 G2 Blowback Steel BB Pistol was the most centered on target getting again close to a two inch grouping.
I do like the KWC Cybergun Taurus PT 24/7 G1/G2 BB and Airsoft series of Airguns and personally prefer the newer Blowback G2 models but to each their own.
Perhaps you might call this a followup video since I already made a full Field Test Shooting Video of the all black version of this pistol and you may wonder if the color of a gun could in some way effect how it performs? Well I don’t think color would really matter but it has been over 6 years since I did my original Field Test Shooting video fo the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver and so perhaps some things have changed, maybe my shooting is better or worse? At any rate let’s find out.
Starting off with my Chronograph test I was able to get an average 6 shot velocity of 348 fps which is about 40 fps less than my testing 6 years ago of 390 fps, perhaps the temperatures where a bit different? Perhaps the valve setups of the guns was not the same? By the way the temperature was 23 degrees Celsius in the indoor Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range and I was using a brand new 12 gram CO2 along with 5.1 grain zinc coated steel BB’s.
Moving on to the accuracy test, surely I would get a similar 1 inch 6 shot grouping from the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver, after all it’s been 6 years and I must be a much more advanced shooter… Well there again the Chrome Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum CO2 BB Revolver did not perform as well as the black one from my 2014 Field Test? Again maybe the steel BB’s I was using where not of the same quality? Maybe I simply had one too many espresso shots? As the video shows this time around I was only able to get about a 2 inch 6 shot grouping from the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver. Still not bad but I was hoping for better result or at least the same as before.
I could do this test again and get completely different results using perhaps another brand of CO2 on a warmer day with higher quality Steel BB’s and just maybe with me on my game a little bit better? At the end of the day 350 fps is perfectly fine for putting holes in pop cans and a 2 inch group at 30 feet will get you on most targets every time so I’m not going to sweat it too much. If you are looking for a shell loading CO2 BB Revolver the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver is for sure one of my top picks.

Another multi gun Field Test Shooting Review, in this Indoor Sea Can Field Test Shooting Video I test out the KWC M1911 and PT92 Full Blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistols. I first place 5 6mm .25 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s through my Chronograph to find out what the real world velocity is for each Airsoft Pistol and then I perform my accuracy test where I shoot multiple rounds into a paper target 30 feet down range to see how close of a grouping I can get with each Airgun. I use a seated and rested shooting position to eliminate as much human factor as possible. By the way is used a brand new 12 gram CO2 and the temperature was 25 degrees Celsius (77 degree Fahrenheit) inside the Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range.
Starting with the KWC M1911 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol I averaged 351 fps with the fastest shot being 353 and the slowest shot 345, so very consistent for sure! Accuracy for the KWC M1911 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol could have been a bit better, I had to adjust my aim point to just under the bottom rings and even so the KWC M1911 wanted to shoot high, I was able to get around a 5 inch 10 shot grouping but was hoping for a bit better.
Next I tested out the KWC PT92 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol which does have a full auto option. For the velocity portion of my Field Test the KWC PT92 did shoot a bit after than the MWC M1911 getting an average fps of 388 with the fastest shot hitting 396 and the slowest shot at 383 so again very consistent performance. Since the KWC PT92 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is capable of full auto shooting I decided to shoot 5 rods on my paper target to get a base accuracy and this resulted in a bit of a lateral spread fairly close to the bullseye about 4-5 inches apart. I then did a mag dump and as expected pretty much sprayed 6mm Airsoft BB’s all over the place but most shot a bit high and to the left probably because of the blowback recoil action.
The KWC M1911 and PT92 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols are both classic Airguns and great options if your looking for a 1911 or Beretta styled Airgun to add to your collection without all the markings and white writing on them.
This is a combined Filed Test Shooting Video for the KWC 2022 NBB - 24/7 NBB - 24/7 Blowback CO2 BB Pistols. I already made an update video for these KWC Steel BB Pistols since they are slightly different version I have not covered in any video beforehand.
As per my typical Field Test Shooting Videos I first place 5 shots through my Chronograph to test out the real world fps of each gun. I then shoot 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet away using a seated and rested shooting position. My ammo for this test was 5.1 grain zinc coated 4.5mm Steel BB’s for all airguns along within a brand new 12 gram CO2. The temperature in my indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range was around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) for this test.
First up was the KWC 2022 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol with an average five shot fps of 347. The KWC 2022 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol was the least accurate of the three Airguns tested on this day getting about a 5-6 inch 10 shot grouping. I did notice when I went to edit the video that it did shoot a double shot on the first shot which lowered that first shot making the group a bit larger. This may have been as a result of pulling the trigger with the safety on right before which probably loaded a round into the barrel followed by the second pull loading a second BB into the barrel.
I then tested out the KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol which was by far the most powerful Airgun tested out of the three hitting a top fps of 452 with a five shot average of 420 fps! The KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol was also fairly accurate getting a nice 2 inch 10 shot grouping, slightly to the left and just under the bullseye. Nothing wrong with that!
The last KWC 4.5mm Steel BB pistol for the day was my KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol. The only only blowback single action shooter out of the bunch. As expected from a blowback CO2 Airgun the fps was lower averaging just under 300 fps (298 to be precise). The surprise of the day was the accuracy from the KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol was the best out of this test group getting really close to a 1 inch grouping very well centered just a tad to the right but with near perfect elevation.
Depending on what you are going for, all of these Airguns are great choices. If you want ultimate power perhaps go for the KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol with its 450+ fps, if you want accuracy and realism then I would suggest the KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol with its full blowback action and excellent accuracy.
I will start of this Field Test Shooting video by saying that the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol is not going to be an action shooter since it is a single action only gun much like the old west 6 shooters but in this case it is not a revolver but rather what looks like a semi auto Tokarev. Once you get over that and accept that there will be no action shooting with the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol, then we can get back to having some good old shooting fun with it.
For my Chronograph Test to find out if the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol get’s close to KWC’s 423 claimed fps I loaded up the Full Size Drop Out Metal Magazine with around 10 BB’s in hopes of getting at least 5 recorded shots to determine a real world velocity. Initially the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol was shooting poorly with the velocity going up and down a lot even as low as 200 fps but as I finished off the 10 round magazine things started to improve a bit. So I loaded up another 10 rounds and gave it another go. This second time around the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol performed much better getting an Average of 370 fps which is a lot closer to the clamped fps by KWC.
You may wonder why the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol was not so good out of the box, I think perhaps the CO2 valve just needed a little bit of break in time, perhaps there was some machining residue in the valve area that was hampering things and after a bit of shooting it clear it out? Either way I did not have any more problems with the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol after the first 10 rounds. The temperature in the Indoor Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range was 24 degrees Celsius or 75 degrees Fahrenheit and I did use a brand new CO2 for this test as always.
For my Accuracy Test the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol I shot 10 rounds into a paper target from 30 feet away using a seated and rested shooting position. I was able to get 8 of the shots all within about an inch of each other with 2 of the shots coming out just a bit. One of the straggler shots I actually saw hook to the right which makes me think it may have been a BB that was a little deformed, this can happen sometimes. The KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol did shoot about 2.5 inches high and just slightly to the left out of the box and since the sights are non-adjustable you will want to aim a bit low on your target at least at 30 foot ranges.
I found the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol to be a decent BB shooter capable of 1 inch groupings at 30 feet out and getting close to 400 fps, I imagine since it does not have blowback and your shots are not going to be very rapid that you will get at least 100 shots per CO2. The trigger is Single Action Only so I was expecting it to be lighter than it was so you will have to get a bit use to it as I did have to apply more pressure than I was expecting. Overall the KWC Model TT-33 CO2 SAO Non-Blowback BB Pistol is another nice addition to the Tokarev line of Airguns and should be considered if this is what you are looking for.
I have been looking forward to making this Filed Test Shooting Review for some time now. I have reviewed lots of other KWC CO2 BB 1911’s in the past but this is the first pellet shooting version and it even has a full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and duel 6 round rotary magazines. Sure there is no blowback operation and the trigger is double action only but it does have a rifled barrel and I was hoping it would get decent accuracy because of this. Let’s find out…
Starting with my Chronograph test to see if I could hit the 345 fps claimed velocity on the outside of the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol Box, as always I used a brand new CO2 cartridge for testing. I then loaded 6 RWS Super-H-Point 6.9 grain lead pellets into the 6 round rotary magazines and fired off 6 shots to get an average. Even using these lead non-hypervelocity pellets I was able to get an average of 341 fps with some of the faster shots hitting 350 fps so yes the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol does get the pellets up to 345 fps as claimed by KWC. The temperature was about average at right around 24 degrees Celsius or 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Time for the accuracy potion of my Field Test Shooting Review for the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol. Since the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol has twin 6 round rotary magazines, I decided to shoot them all off and get a 12 round grouping on my paper target setup 30 feet down range shooting from a seated and rested position. My first 6 rounds all hit well within 1 inch or less of each other about 1.5 inches high from the bullseye and just a tad to the left. I then rotated the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol 6 shot rotary magazine to the remaining 6 rounds and again almost all of them shot right on top of the first 6 rounds, I did pull one shot a bit that hit low and then may have pulled another shot just a little bit high from the 1 inch group but 10 of the 12 rounds ended up making a nice 1 inch hole in the target.
Even though the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol has a double action only trigger, it is very usable in terms of placing accurate shots on target. The trigger is really not too heavy and does have a predictable break and release point to it. The gun holds just like any other 1911 I have shot but is slightly lighter and a little bit top heavy since it has a polymer frame to go along with the metal slide and magazines. If you’re looking for a realistic looking and feeling pellet firing 1911 with decent fps and excellent accuracy then look no further than the KWC M1911 Non-Blowback CO2 Pellet Pistol.
This review was plagued with nothing but recording issues during the target accuracy portion of the review. I had to record it 6 separate times for reasons like: Two battery issues, one wrong setting in my camera, a memory card issue (wasn’t reading) and in one test I had a piece of cardboard covering a camera lens!!! Anyway I did get it done in the end but it was very frustrating!
So how did the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol perform for me during this Field Test Shooting Video? I would have to say a bit hot and cold. In terms of velocity, the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol was bang on averaging right around 325 fps which was right in line with KWC’s 328 fps claim. And the temperature was not super hot inside the Sea Can Indoor Airgun Shooting Range. About 15 degrees Celsius or around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Moving on to the target portion of this Field Test Review I did manage to get a 4 inch 10 round grouping during my first test (which had recording issues) but for the shooting test that made it to this video my grouping spread out a fair amount closer to 6-8 inches. I did play around with the internal hop-up because the KWC K17 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol likes to shoot low and to the right, so I thought that if I adjusted the hop-up up, I would be able to get shots a little higher on target but this adjustment only seemed to make the gun shoot a little bit less accurately for me? As always I was shooting using me rested seated position from 30 feet down range.
Another Field Test Shooting video coming to you this week from the Replica Airgun Sea Can Indoor Airgun Range! Today I test out the KWC CQBP M45 A1 CO2 Airsoft Pistol to see what kind of real world velocity it gets and how accurate it is shooting a rapper target form about 30 feet away.
Starting with my Chronograph velocity results, the KWC CQBP M45 A1 CO2 Airsoft Pistol is really powerful! It shot right up to and just over 500 fps using a brand new CO2 with .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's. The temperature was decent right around the mid 20's Celsius which is not too hot or too cold.The actual 5 shot average was 497 fps with the fastest shot hitting 503 fps and the slowest hitting 492 fps so all pretty close in velocity.
Next I placed 10 rounds down range at my paper target using a rested seated shooting position (Sand bag up front and seated on chair in the back). I did find the KWC CQBP M45 A1 CO2 Airsoft Pistol shot a bit high but windage was well centered. My 10 shot grouping produced about 1.5 inch fairly tight group with one outlier that came out a bit.
Overall the KWC CQBP M45 A1 CO2 Airsoft Pistol is a pretty well rounded Airsoft 1911, it's mostly metal with good weight, has lots of power, maybe even too much for anything close range, produced some decent accuracy and it isn't going to set you back too much at the end of the day. Just be aware that because it is a none blowback pistol it does only shoot in double action which is not typical of most 1911 pistols.
In this Field Test Shooting Review I put the KWC M40 Extended Barrel CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol through my typical Sea Can shooting tests to see what the real world velocity and accuracy are. I made sure i had a brand new 12 gram CO2 in the gun and I used .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB's for the entire test. The temperature was around 17 degrees Celsius which is not too hot or too cold.
Starting with my Chronograph Feet Per Second testing I placed 5 shots with my KWC M40 Extended Barrel CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol through my Chrony Chronograph and averaged a nice 397 fps, the fastest shot was 408 fps and the slowest was 387 fps.
Moving on to the accuracy portion this indoor Sea Can Field Test I setup a clean paper target 30 feet down range and placed 10 shots into it using a rested and seated shooting position. The grouping was a bit all over the place but the bulk of the roods did hit pretty close to the center of the target in about a 3-4 inch grouping. 2 of the shots did go a bit high on me. I feel that perhaps because of the higher velocity that heavier Airsoft BB's may perform better in the KWC M40 Extended Barrel CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol.
All in all the KWC M40 Extended Barrel CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is a nice shooter with heavy blowback and a light Single Action Only Trigger. The high velocity woful make it a great out doors Airsoft Sidearm.
It seems like I am forever reviewing some version of the KWC CO2 Blowback 1911 either in Airsoft or Steel BB or distributed by Cybergun or Gletcher or Umarex or pretty much every company out there has their own rebrand of it. At the end of the day they are all made in the KWC factory and are all interchangeable, you can even swap out the Airsoft parts with the steel BB part if you want to...
So how did we do in our See Can indoor Airgun Shooting test? As expected the Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol performed well. I placed 5 shots through my Chrony Chronograph using a brand new CO2 with .20 gram Airsoft BB's and averaged 373 fps which is about perfect for a full blowback CO2 Airsoft Pistol. If you're wondering the temperature was moderate at 16 Celsius or 61 Fahrenheit.
Next I placed 10 rounds downrange into my paper target 30 feet away using a rested position) Sand bag up front and sitting in the rear). My Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol was shooting a bit on the high side but the adjustable Bax Hop-up should allow for us to bring it down accordingly, that said my 10 shot grouping was just under 2 inches at 30 feet.
Even though I find myself reviewing or testing the various versions of the KWC 1911's. I don't really have a problem with it. They have been one of the most popular Blowback Airguns if not thee most popular and for a reason. They look and feel great, are reasonably priced, they perform well and have gotten more and more reliable over the years. All you ahed to do is pick which one of the Cybergun Colt 1911 Rail Gun Series CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistols you want?
First off let's get the fact that the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol is not going to win any awards for true to scale weight and materials used in its production. This Airsoft pistol is virtually all plastic with the exception of some internal metal parts. It weighs next to nothing but that could actually be a good thing if you don't want a heavy sidearm dragging you down on the field. Once you are all geared up with your primary weapon and all it's extra magazines and what not. And of course you are probably covered head to toe in some sort of tactical uniform, why drag yourself down even more with a heavy sidearm and all it's heavy backup magazines? Just a thought!
What's really important is how does the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol actually perform? Well really good for an inexpensive pistol and since there is no blowback operation you are going to get a lot more shots per CO2 and higher fps.
In terms of power, being non-blowback did seem to help out the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol. I got an average of 390 fps shooting 6 shots through my Chrony Chronograph. I was using .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB's with a brand new CO2 cartridge. The temperature was around 16-17 degrees Celsius which is around 62 degree Fahrenheit.
Next up I placed 10 rounds into my paper target setup 30 feet down range. From my seated and rested position I was able to get about a 2 inch grouping and all the shots where fairly well centered, just a tad to the left. This is good considering most lower priced Airsoft pistols are not going to have adjustable sights which is the same with the Cybergun Sig Sauer SP2022 Sportline CO2 Airsoft Pistol.
I have kind of already reviews this Cybergun Sig Sauer X-Five Blowback Airsoft pistol before but in the all black version with the non-adjustable sights. I'm kind of glad I did a revisit of this Stainless steel wood grip version since I actually got fairly different results even though both Airsoft Pistols are mechanically the same.
Yes accuracy went down a bit but with the Stainless Cybergun Sig Sauer X-five CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol but I still grouped my 10 shots within about 2 inches using my standard 30 foot back, rested shooting position. There will always be some human factor when shooting this way since the pistol is not locked into place and even though I am using a reseted seated position there is some movement going on.
Overall my retest showed that the Stainless Cybergun Sig Sauer X-five CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is well worth taking a look at. Personally I really like this Stainless wood grip version not only for its looks but for the simple fact it has a fully adjustable target sight on the back. Add heavy blowback operation and a very smooth single and double action trigger and this all makes for a great Airsoft Pistol.
I had a chance to take out my Swiss Arms SA 92 Stainless Version and Swiss Arms SA 1911 Tactical Rail System CO2 Blowback BB Pistols and see how they performed in the Sea Can Airgun Shooting range and they did pretty good, I have treated very similar KWC version of these guns in previous videos and for the most part the Swiss Arms Stainless Versions are just a little prettier cosmetically. I didn't test out the Swiss Arms SA 1911 Seventies Stainless Pistol since I expect it would have performed the same as the other 1911 in this Field Test Shooting Video.
So how did they do? First off I fired five rounds through my now almost perfectly working Chrony Chronograph and the SA 92 ended up shotgun a little faster with an average of right around 320 fps while the Swiss Arms SA 1911 Tactical shot an average of 302 fps. I was using brand new Sig Sauer CO2 and RWS Match Grade Precision Steel 4.5mm BB's for the entire review.
Moving on to the accuracy, I setup in my rested position which is about 30 feet back for the paper target. I was sitting and using a sand bag to rest the pistols on for stability. This gives me a very stable shooting position but there is still a little human factor involved since the guns are not locked in place. Both CO2 Blowback BB Pistols shot about a 2 inch 10 round grouping but the Swiss Arms SA 1911 had better shot placement pretty much hitting exactly where I aimed it, the Swiss Arms SA 92 Stainless on the other hand wanted to shot rather low, I had to place my aim at the top of the rings to get the SA 92 to hit near the bullseye. It did shoot really well left to right, unfortunately the Swiss Arms SA 92 Stainless does not seem to have a hop-up adjustment so you may have to adjust your aim point higher than normal with this one.
Both guns had great single action triggers with heavy blowback operation, I did find the Swiss Arms SA 1911 Stainless Tactical had a bit of a sticky slide when I first shot it but after a few shots it smoothed out. If you're looking for a KWA / Cybergun 1911 or Taurus PT 92 Blowback Airgun and want it ti have a little more curb appeal then make sure to checkout the Swiss Arms Stainless series of CO2 Blowback BB Pistols.
