Full Auto Fun Summer 2024 Barra 400e Take 2

Here is video four in my series of Full Auto Fun videos I make each summer where I pick a few Full Auto Airguns and record some fun outside shooting with them. In this years Full Auto Fun Video series I do a bit of a walk around on my property and shoot a bunch of water filled pop cans. Maybe this doesn’t sound super exciting but I do use some really creative camera angles to capture it all which makes it lot more interesting to watch for sure!

My Airguns of choice in this years Full Auto Fun Series are all 4.5mm BB Full Auto Airguns this time around. They are the Barra 400e 4.5mm BB AEG Full Auto BB Rifle, the KWA Mini UZI Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Machine Gun and the the Crosman A4-P Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Pistol.

In this fourth Full Auto Fun video, I retest the Barra 400e 4.5mm BB AEG Full Auto BB Rifle in full auto this time, and try a bit of a different camera angle approach with my HoverAir Drone Camera switching it to follow mode as it doesn’t stop recording so easily in this mode. And as expected, it worked a lot better for me with this setup and continued recording the entire video. I also recoded using my Meta Glasses to get the first person view and like the other videos I placed my Insta360 X4 camera on the barrel again to get some cool up front gun angle shots. I think this setup works well and will probably use it for future Full Auto Fun Videos where I am running around the yard shooting stuff. Maybe there will be a couple more bonus guns in this years Full Auto Fun Series? No promises!

Full Auto Fun Summer 2024 Crosman A4-P AR Pistol

Here is video three in my series of Full Auto Fun videos I make each summer where I pick a few Full Auto Airguns and record some fun outside shooting with them. In this third Full Auto Fun video I test out the Crosman A4-P AR Pistol and like my other videos it was not “picture perfect” or should I say “Video Perfect”… My cameras actually cooperated pretty good this time around, but one of my magazines had an issue (May have been me), so I had to switch over to my trusty KWA 1911 CO2 Blowback BB pistol to finish the job, good ting I had it on me, got to expect the unexpected!

Full Auto Fun Summer 2024 KWA Mini UZI

Here is video two in my series of Full Auto Fun videos I make each summer where I pick a few Full Auto Airguns and record some fun outside shooting with them. In this years Full Auto Fun Video series I do a bit of a walk around on my property and shoot a bunch of water filled pop cans. Maybe this doesn’t sound super exciting but I do use some really creative camera angles to capture it all which makes it lot more interesting to watch for sure!

In this second Full Auto Fun video I test out the classic KWA Mini UZI Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Machine Gun, at least with this video I did actually shoot in full auto but the video did not go without a few hiccups as my HoverAir Drone decided I was stopping for too long to take my shots and turned itself off a couple of times. And my Meta Glasses decided to get chunky on me and lower their frame rate down to a rather hard to watch frame per second. I did eventually make it though this video but it cold have gone better. No I am not redoing this one as it was shot in Full Auto this time which is what I promised. I can not promise all my tech gear will cooperate exactly s expected but I was able to get some decent footage overall if you can ignore the choppy video for the Meta Glasses for part of the video.

Full Auto Fun Summer 2024 Barra 400e

I try to make at least one series of Full Auto Fun video each summer where I pick a few Full Auto Airguns and record some fun outside shooting with them. In this years Full Auto Fun Video series I do a bit of a walk around on my property and shoot a bunch of water filled pop cans. Maybe this doesn’t sound super exciting but I do use some really creative camera angles to capture it all which makes it lot more interesting to watch for sure!

In this first Full Auto Fun video I start with the Barra 400e 4.5mm BB AEG Full Auto BB Rifle, but in the all the camera and audio setup confusion, I forgot to put it in Full Auto (getting old), so this is really not a Full Auto Fun Video, it was still fun and I hope you enjoy it anyway. The other videos in this Full Auto Fun Series are for sure in Full Auto and I will be taking out the Barra 400e and give it another go in Full Auto this time so stay posted for the true Full Auto Fun Video for the Barra 400e shortly!

BARRA 400e AEG Full Auto BB Rifle Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video I test out the BARRA 400e Full Auto AEG 4.5mm BB Rifle to test out the velocity along with the accuracy and also get an idea on what the rate of fire is in Full Auto mode as on the box it claims 550 rounds per minute using what I would assume is a 7.4 volt battery. I wanted to test the BARRA 400e using an 11.1 volt battery but mine died on me. I will more than likely make a short video where I test out the 11.1 volt battery to see how this effects the rate of fire. If you want more information on specifications and details for the BARRA 400e then check my Table Table Video for it here.

Starting with testing out the Velocity for the BARRA 400e Full Auto AEG 4.5mm BB Rifle I shoot 6 rounds through my Chronograph to average out the fps and I was able to average 385 fps which is fairly close to the claimed 410 fps. Temperature does not effect an AEG as no CO2 is being used. Battery voltage also does not effect velocity as long as there is enough voltage to make the AEG motor pull the spring all the way back. Only trigger delay and rounds per minute are effected by battery voltage.

Moving on to my accuracy findings, I loaded up a full 50 round magazine and first unloaded 10 rounds fairly quickly into my paper target setup 30 feet down range shooting from a seated shooting position with the BARRA 400e resting on a sand bag up front. I was impressed to get close to a 1 inch 10 round grouping that placed just a little to the left and down from the bullseye right out of the box. I could easily center the sights as they are fully adjustable. I then switched the BARRA 400e Full Auto AEG 4.5mm BB Rifle to full auto and shot the remaining 40 or so rounds into the same paper target and even though the grouping opened up a little bit, it was not by much so accuracy in semi and full auto is very good with the BARRA 400e.

I have to say the rate of fire on the BARRA 400e Full Auto AEG 4.5mm BB Rifle using a 7.4 volt battery is rather slow even compared to other Airsoft AEG Full Auto Airguns but I still yet have to test it out using a brand new 11.1 volt Lithium battery so I do expect the rate of fire to improve a noticeable amount. Stay posted for that update video. Even with the slower rate of fire from the BARRA 400e this gun is awesome, it is really accurate and the velocity stays super consistent since CO2 cool down is not a factor. The mostly all metal construction and overall quality is very good and the fact that this is really the first commercial AEG 4.5mm Steel BB Rifle makes that alone a great reason to pick one up.

BB Versus Airsoft Full Auto Fun Video 3 Top Pick

I have another Full Auto Fun Video this one focusing on 4.5mm Steel BB Versus 6mm Plastic and which one is better in terms of accuracy and shredding power. I perform this super scientific test by shooting obviously in full auto two comparable Steel BB and Plastic Airsoft Rifles at a paper target setup 20 feet away with a magazine as a backer so I can see what the accuracy is like and how much of the paper magazine gets shredded by each ammo being tested.

I have split this video into three separate videos, in video one I compare two similar AR styled rifles, a CO2 powered Blowback 4.5mm BB Rifle to a Gas Blowback 6mm Airsoft Rifle. In video two I compare two AK type Blowback Rifles to each otters, again a CO2 4.5mm Steel BB along with a Gas 6mm Airsoft.

And lastly in Video three I compare my top picks for each category which include a non-Blowback CO2 4.5mm BB Machine gun to an AEG 6mm Airsoft Rifle.

In this video (Video Three) the Airguns being used are the Original Baikal Drozd CO2 BB Machine Gun and the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 AEG Airsoft Rifle.

Full Auto Fun 2022 Video 3 Air Ordnance SMG .22

The Video I am sure most of you have been waiting for in this Full Auto Fun 2022 Video Series! The Canada Legal Air Ordnance SMG .22 Full Auto PCP Machine Gun. For this video I loaded up a 100 round belt fed magazine and filled my 13 CU PCP tank up to 3500 PCI (I should have filled it all the way to 3000 in hind sight!) I was able to get through almost all the of the 100 rounds but ran out of pressure with around 100 or so rounds left. Still had lots of .22 caliber lead pellets to get the job done and rip through all the water filled cans with lots left over for the Gel fill paper target. Make sure to watch Video 1 where I shot the Crosman A4-P Co2 Full Auto Machine Pistol and Video 2 where I shoot another Corman BB Machine Gun the AK1 Full Auto CO2 BB Rifle.

Full Auto Fun 2022 Video 1 Crosman A4-P

In this years 2022 Full Auto Fun Video series I take three Full auto Airguns outside in the yard and have some fun with them shooting at water filled cans and a gel target. I picked two Full Auto CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Guns from Crosman, the A4-P AR-15 Pistol and the AK1 Rifle which is a modernized AK 47. The Crosman A4-P representing my most compact entry with the Crosman AK1 representing my mid size entry even though it is fairly large. I end this series with the Air Ordnance SMG .22 which is a PCP powered Full Auto .22 Caliber Pellet Machine Gun and yes this represents my large or at least most powerful choice for this years 2022 Full Auto Fun Video.

In this video, (Video 1 of the series) I have some Full Auto Fun with the Crosman A4-P, watch and enjoy along with me as I place 100 rounds down range ripping up some water filled cans and putting holes in my gel target.

Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Arrow Rifle.
Manufacturer: Umarex
Model: AirSaber Elite X2.
Materials: Metal and Polymer.
Weight: 8.7 pounds (3.9kg).
Air Tank: 4000 PSI - 240cc.
Barrel: Double barrel system.
Propulsion: PCP (Compressed Air).
Action: Side cocking - Single action trigger.
Ammunition Type: 350 grain Arrows.
Ammunition Capacity: 2.
Max FPS: 450 Claimed.

Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is single action only requiring you to engage the side cocking latch system before you can shoot it. You will also be required to manually select the barrel using the side mounted cross bolt between shots. The trigger feels pretty light in general since it is a single action only trigger but it does have a fair amount take-up and creep before releasing.

Accuracy: I have not performed any shooting tests with the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle as of yet and I am not sure if I will since this product does require a high powered crossbow type backstop which I do not have at this time. I want to make sure I have a safe shooting environment before unleashing 169 foot pounds of energy downrange. I would imagine since the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is designed more for mid to large game hunting that it will be accurate out to mid and long ranges, of course you will need to practice at the ranges you will be shooting at to know how the arrow will fly and how much elevation you will need to to adjust for.

Build Quality: The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is really well built and solid coming in at 8.7 pounds. For it’s size it is not heavy since it ustilizes a combination of metal, aluminum and polymer. All the mechanical parts feel high quality and reactive.

Realism: The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is not a replica of any real steel gun in production since it is a hunting rifle through and through. It is rifle shaped of course since that is what we have gown accustomed to using and so why change the main design. If you have used a rifle before then you will have no problem using the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle as it is more of a rifle and less of a bow or crossbow to use. It just happens to shoot arrow rather than bullet.

Pros:

  • Canada non PAL Airgun with enough power to hunt medium to larger game!

  • Overall price point is good, nothing like this to compare to.

  • Arrows are propelled from the front, so no archers paradox when aiming.

  • Arrows come with field tip arrows but can be unscrewed and replaced with broad tip arrow heads for hunting.

  • Easy to use cross bolt safety on trigger.

  • Pistol grip allows for easy hold and control.

  • Fit and finish is excellent.

  • PCP for more power and consistency than CO2.

  • Picatinny rails on top for scope, sides and bottom for other accessories.

  • Rubber butt-plate for added comfort.

  • Improved easy to use side cocking system.

  • Double barrel allows for quick follow up shot.

  • Higher PSI for high power with same amount of shots as older single barrel AirSaber.

Cons:

  • Need a pump or other compressed air-fill system.

  • Will require a proper backstop system to practice safety with.

  • Arrows are not cheap so make sure of your shots.

Comments:
The Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel PCP Arrow Rifle is a really unique product that allows virtually anyone to be able to hunt even larger game without a firearms license in Canada. It is not really a riffle or a crossbow, it is it’s own creation that takes the best of a rifle and the best from archery combining both into an easy to learn and use way to be able to hunt proficiently and perhaps even in areas rifles are not allowed to go. For the extra $100 or so I would recommend the Umarex AirSaber Elite X2 Double Barrel version over the original single version barrel but both will get the job done at the end of the day since usually your first shot is your only shot.

Bear X Desire XL Crossbow Field Test Review

This was an unusual Field Test Review for me to do as I really don’t test out Bows or Crossbows all that much and I don’t have the best backstop setup for doing such reviews. So I spent some time making a backstop that was capable of stopping these just over 6 inch almost 10 gram or 150 grain bolts. It required some layers of foam and cardboard along with a blanket behind just in case, and even with this setup the bolts managed to lodge themselves right up to the Fletching (feather part of the arrow). Also make sure to watch my Table Top Video Review for the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow to see it up nice and close and get all the specifications and features.

I kind of wanted to change up this review just a bit and so I recorded my Chronograph Velocity at the same time as I did my Target or Accuracy Test to simplify things. I used 5 bolts in all and got what I felt was a good result using the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow.

In terns of velocity Bear X claims that the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow will shoot around 175 fps. I was able to get consistent 190+ fps readings using the 147 grain 6.5 inch aluminum bolts with my lowest fps being 192 and the highest being 194 so super consistent. This gave an overall Foot Pound energy of 12.4 foot pounds! This is enough for small pests for sure, it really comes down to accuracy at this point as you will want to get either a head or shoulder area shot for a humane kill.

I did do a pre test to make sure I was on target and duding this test I was able to get about a 5 inch 5 shot grouping. During my recored Accuracy Test this did open up a bit as one arrow went high and to the right so if I leave that arrow out of the test I did manage to get another 5 inch grouping with three of the arrows all within 1.5 inches of each otter. I figure with high quality arrows and some practice time using the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow, you should be able to use it for small pest control at least at closer in ranges.

All in all the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow surprised me with how powerful it really was and with the accuracy using standard default bolts. This is for sure not a toy and you would never want to accidentally shoot this at someone as it could cause a very serious injury or even death and I mean that since these arrow would for sure pierce several inches into the body. So if you’re looking for something with a bit more raw power than your standard non-regulated Airgun, then check out the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow over in both our Canada and US Online Replica Airguns Stores.

Bear X Desire XL Crossbow Table Top Review

Type: Compact Crossbow.
Manufacturer: Bear X.
Model: Desire XL.
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 2.3 pounds (1 kilograms).
Length: 20-22 inches.
Propulsion: Bow.
Action: Single action trigger.
Ammunition Type: Aluminum bolts (Comes with 3).
Ammunition Capacity: 1.
FPS: 175fps.
Draw: 60 pounds

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is medium to heavy, it is a single action only trigger as you need ot cock the bow in order for the trigger to be engaged. The safety is also engaged when you cock the bow requiring you to take the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow off safe before shooting as an added layer of safety.

Accuracy: I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video for the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow and so I have not sea what to expect for it. I have watched a few videos of other people reviewing it and it looks to perform fairly well but until I get a few bolts in a target downrange I can not say for certain the accuracy of the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow. I will have to figure out some sort of a usable back stop in order to make this Field Test Shooting Video but have some ideas already on material to use as my back stop. FPS is claimed ot be around 175 and I will be doing my best to Chronograph the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow so we can confirm that rating for ourselves…

Build Quality: The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is actually made pretty decently, yes it is mostly plastic and light weight but feels sturdy enough to hold, the only real metal I can confirm is the cocking rail, mostly everything else other than the nuts and bolts that hold it together are some sort of plastic, the bow itself may be a composite material but I am not sure what exactly it is?

Realism: The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is not a Replica as is what I usually review here on the channel. But I think their is a crossover in terms of interest for a product like this with people that are also interested in airguns. I know I like the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow and can see a place for it in my collection even if it’s not a replica product.

Pros:

  • Fairly inexpensive.

  • Super light weight.

  • Can shoot in a variety of situations.

  • Easy to draw the bow.

  • Safety is automatically engaged.

  • Picatinny rail already has iron fully adjustable rear sight but can mount a red dot if you like.

  • Fiber optic front sight.

  • 3 bolts included.

  • 175 fps (not sure of the ft/lbs)?

  • Comes with fore grip.

  • 3 portion adjustable rear but stock.

Cons:

  • Will need a good backstop or will lose or damage a lots of bolts.

  • Takes a little bit of time to set it up but not too hard if you follow the instructions.

Comments:

The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is an interesting product that once purchased and if you manage to not lose the bolts will cost virtually nothing to shoot since you can reuse the bolts all day long given you shoot them on target and that target does not damage the bolts. It may not offer the rapid fire action shooting of a replica semi auto CO2 Pistol but still challenges the shooter in terms of getting the best possible accuracy out of it and at the end of the day trigger time is trigger time! If you are looking for something a bit different than your CO2 Air Gun then maybe the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow will fill that requirement.

Umarex Ruger Mark IV - Action Army AAP-01 - Bear Desire XL - Crosman A4-P - Air Venturi Avenger Preview

In this Preview Unboxing Vimeo Video I take a look at five very different products! A Spring Piston .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol, an Airsoft GBB Pistol, a Compact Crossbow, a full auto CO2 Blowback BB Pistol and a PPC .22 Caliber Pellet Rifle.

First up is the Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol which is a single shot replica pellet pistol that shoots .177 caliber pellets at up to 320 fps using a spring piston break barrel system. The Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol is a target plinker with fully adjustable fiber optic sights and should be a lot of fun to shoot!

Next I take a look at a Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol from Action Army that closely resembles the Ruger Mark IV pistol with perhaps a more compact look. The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is full blowback a full size drop out magazine and fiber optic sights. It also come with a threaded barrel and barrel extension for adding a longer barrel and much suppressor.

Next on my list of new items is the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow which is a 2.2 pound compact bolt shooting crossbow that sports a rail system with included adjustable iron sights that also allow for a red dot if you want to really customize it. The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow has a 60 pound draw and shoots arrows/bolts at up to 175 fps.

Another AR BB Rifle/Pistol from Crosman is the Crosman A4-P Full Auto CO2 BB Pistol which is essentially a pistol version of the AR Platform. If you like the Crosman DPMS SBR, R1, PDW then you will probably also like the Crosman AP-4. Like the others it uses dual CO2’s and shoots 4.5mm Steel BB;s in semi or full auto at 1400 rounds per minute until the 25 round magazine is empty.

Last included in this preview video is the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle. I’m a bit uncertain about this one as I am pretty sure it is the non detuned PAL version that requires a firearms license here in Canada as it shoots at full velocity (.22 caliber pellet at 950 fps). If that’s the case then it will not be available in our Canada Replica Airguns Store but may be available in the US Replica Airguns Store. If it is the detuned version or a detuned version becomes available in Canada then I imagine we will at some point have it in the Canada replica Airguns Store. That said the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle uses compressed air and shoots either .177. .22 or .25 caliber pellets using a latch system and rotary magazine.

Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock and Adapter Field Test Review (Sort of)

I will say right off the bat this Field Test Shooting Video for the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock and Adapter did not go as well as I would have wanted it to! The HPA tank itself worked really well but I believe the adapter was faulty as it was destroying the seals on my tank and not regulating very well.

I still wanted to publish this video regardless as not all reviews go as planned, some fail horribly but I would rather be honest and transparent about it rather than have you believe every product is a perfect.

There will always be problems even with really great products there can be defects. I plan to get a new adaptor and try this Field Test Review Video again but for now you can have some fun watching me at least have some success using the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock on my Rap4 Rap5 MP5.

You can also watch my Table Top Review Video for more details and info on this product!

Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review Update

Apparently I got it all wrong when I did my original Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review and several of my viewers where not hesitant to let me know :)

I thought when I read the one mag instruction guide that I had a good idea on how to use it but there was one area I misunderstood. I thought I needed to pull the tab in and out several times to reload the magazine but in fact I only needed to pull it out once, then shale the magazine back and forth horizontally a few times and then I was good to go.

I also read some other comments that mentioned I didn’t have to take the magazine out every time I reloaded so in this video I test that out to make sure and then one last comment that rather than pulling the charging handle back each time I reloaded I could simply press the bolt release on the right side of the Airgun, and yes this is the case with the Crosman Full Auto rile series.

So here I go a second time in making sure I do it right this time!

Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine Review for DPMS - MPW - R1 - A4-P

I have been wanting to test out the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine for a while now and finally got around to it. The weather was cooperating with me so I went outside for this one and setup a bunch of cameras to make the many many magazine reloads a bit more interesting for my viewers.

The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine has a hopper that is said to hold around 300 4.5mm Steel BB’s which I can attest it does in fact hold at least 300 BB’s. The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine like their regular Crosman Full Auto Magazines holds two 12 gram CO2 Cartridges, so the question is, will I be able to get through most of the 300 BB’s without reloading the CO2?

Watch my struggle a bit to figure out the exactly how to properly use the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine and then quickly eat through 300 or so BB’s blasting pop cans down range!

Which Full Auto BB Rifle Performs Best - Full Auto Rate of Fire and Accuracy

This is a bit of a different test than my usual Indoor Field Test Shooting Video I make here in the Replica Airguns indoor shooting range. I don’t test the feet per second with my Chronograph, I don’t test how accurate each gun is shooting in semi auto. Instead this Full Auto BB Rifle comparisons is to find out which Full Auto BB rifle has the highest rate of fire and which one stays on target the best shooting 25 rounds in full auto, all in one burst.

The guns I use of this Full Auto BB Rifle Full Auto Rate of Fire and Accuracy Test are:
