Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is single and double action. When the hammer is back and it is in singe action, the trigger is short and light with about a quarter inch take-up before the release which is crisp and fairly light. You can decock the hammer and shoot in double action which does make the trigger pull much longer and a bit heavier but it is still very usable. There is also a semi cock-option where the hammer is partially cocked. This keeps the hammer off the firing pin and allows for a safer double action trigger pull.
Accuracy: So far I have not shot the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol or made my Field Test Shooting Video. I have shot lots of KJWorks Full Blowback Airsoft Pistols in the past and they have in general performed as expected. So I am confident when I get to the Field Test Shooting Video for the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol, it should perform well for me!
Build Quality: The KJWorks line of Airsoft Guns are known for their excellent build quality, the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is another example of a well made Airsoft Pistol with lots of metal parts including the slide, frame, inner and outer barrel, magazine, trigger, safety, slide catch release, take down lever and magazine release. The only real plastic I can see is the grips, butt plate, and CO2 gas nozzle. Fit and finish is really good. There is just a little bit of slide wiggle, but all the mechanical parts work well.
Realism: Most Full Blowback Airsoft Pistols are built to be as close to a real steel pistol as possible with similar dimensions, weight and feel. The blowback action gives a Blowback Airsoft Pistol the required slide action to allow for chambering of an Airsoft BB along with the reseting of the hammer, so true single action shooting is possible. Other than shooting a real steel Beretta M9A1, the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is as close as you can get to it. Holding this pistol in your hand, it would be hard to tell it is not the real deal.

The Beretta M9 is a classic Semi Auto Pistol that has been used in military and police for decades and has proven itself over time. I would say it is right up there with the classic 1911 as being recognized as a dependable and solid semi auto pistol. I still kind of prefer the 1911 but I’d take a Beretta M9A1 any day of the week. You really can’t go too wrong with the KJWorks M9A1 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol, it has it all… Almost all metal build, full blowback operation with both single and double action shooting options. You have a picatinny rail for adding accessories and easy to see white dot sights front and back. This is probably one of my favorite Beretta M9’s in terms of looks and features.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is excellent, it is super short and light as you would expect from a 1911 trigger, the makeup is almost non-existent with a super light release. Out of the box I find it perfect but you have the option of adjusting it with the supplied Allen key since it has competition adjustably. Like I said, out of the box it felt perfect to me so there is no real need to mess around with it.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol or made my Field Test Performance Video. I have shot my fair share of KJWorks Full Blowback Airsoft Pistols and they have in general performed very well for me, so I am confident when I get to the Field Test Shooting Video for the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol it will do a great job!
Build Quality: The KJWorks line of Airsoft Guns is known for their excellent build and overall quality and the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is no exception. You will find all metal for the most part including some CNC Aluminum parts like the barrel and compensator, the slide and frame are metal along with the magazine and most of the controls. The pistol grip and trigger guard is all in one and the main plastic you will find on the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. Weight, feel and balance is really good.
Realism: The KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is a double stack modern tactical 1911 in design. All of the controls and the overall design are that of a 1911 and so if you are use to shooting 1911’s, then you will be accustomed to this Airsoft Pistol. The full length blowback simulates the shooting experience along with some recoil feel and also allows for that true single action only trigger we are use to with 1911’s with its short and super light trigger pull. The KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is fully field strippable which allows for easy to get to hop-up adjustments. I did notice that the Back-strap safety is non-functioning and just there for show, I am not sure why they did not make it a working safety?

I’ve mentioned in many of my videos how I really like 1911 styled pistols and of course ones with full blowback operation, so the KJWorks KP-19 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol for me is a winner even before I even try it. Of course how it performs is going to be the real deciding factor, even if I am rooting for it. What is not to like though? It is almost all metal, has full blowback operation, easy to see fiver optic sights front and back, the ability to add a laser or tac light up front with a red dot on the back by installing the adaptor plate so you can really dress this one up and make it your own at the end of the day.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is what you would expect from a true Single Action Only Trigger, which is nice and light and relatively short. There is some initial take up but you can feel the point near the back where the release kicks in which is extremely light and predictable with no play in it. Of course you will have to rack the slide in order to place a round in the breach and fire the first shot, after that the blowback action will do all the slide cycling for you.
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol or made my Field Test Performance Video. I have already made a full Field Test and Shooting Video of the non-TBC version which is virtually the same Airsoft Pistol but without the threaded outer barrel extension. You can watch that Filed Test Video here where I get around 350 average fps and close to a 2 inch grouping shooting at a paper target setup 30 feet down range. Build Quality: The KJWorks line of Airsoft Guns is know for overall good quality so I expect the KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol to be just the same. From my testing with the non TBC version and my initial first impressions, everything looks really good, fit and finish are excellent and as expected you will find metal parts and polymer parts in all the same places you would find them in a real steel modern semi auto pistol.
Realism: The KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is not an exact replica of a specific semi auto pistol but you could say it looks a little bit like a Glock ;) You need to be careful when it comes to Glock as they do not like it when companies copy their guns and rightly so. There is enough differences with the KJ Works KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol so it should not set off any red flags over at Glock. It’s good that there are various color options, tan, grey and black. It does seem that only the Tan and Grey two tone versions are available in the TBC version while the black version we seem to have available in the all black non-TBC version.

Let’s be clear, the KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is not a Glock Replica. It is different in many ways, the idea here is that it is close enough to be a good alternative if you are use to shooting Glocks and want something to train with that looks, feels and functions a lot like a traditional Glock. I am hoping the TBC version performs as well as the non-TBC version shot for me when I made my original Field Test Shooting Video back in 2023. For me the KJWorks KP-13 TBC CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol checks all the boxes… Full blowback operation, a very good trigger, lots of realism and I am sure good performance based on my past review.

Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle is very different from most triggers I have used. It is a two stage trigger where in stock out of the box mode allows for a partial pull of the trigger to shoot in semi auto with a full pull of the trigger allowing for full auto. You can program the two stages of the trigger using the ETU to function differently than out of the box by setting up the semi auto stage to do a double tap so it will shoot when you pull the trigger lightly, and then as you release the trigger it will shoot a second time. You can also change the full auto full trigger pull to shoot in burst mode rather than full auto. There are a number of configurations you can choose from.
Accuracy: I have not shot the Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle or tested it out so far here in the Sea Can indoor shooting range, so I don’t really have a lot to say in terms of accuracy or if it is close to the claimed 400 fps by Novritsch. Build Quality: Novritsch is a new product line for me so I have not really had hands on with any of their guns so far. My first impressions are that Novritsch makes very good quality Airsoft products using high quality materials such as solid fiber-reinforced nylon and CNC machined aluminum with well thought out designs. The Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle is on the heavier side as it is very well built with lots of metal where you would expect it to be, similar to the real steel Steyr AUG.
Realism: The Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle is a very believable Airsoft Replica of the Steyr UAG Bullpup Rifle. It even weighs about the same at 7.72 pounds. It is an AEG Airsoft Rifle so mechanical the internals are very different but the controls do work for the most part in a similar fashion, like the selector controls, magazine release, charging handle for access to the hop-up and the barrel is even removable like there real steel version. The Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle does come preinstalled with an orange flash hider which takes away from there realism, but that can be removed and replaced with something different.

Personally I do not like the look of the Steyr AUG but it is growing on me a little bit. Practically speaking it is a really well thought out riffle using the bullpup design to keep it short even with a longer 20 inch barrel. It is also nice that the 3x optical scope is built into the deign of the Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle so you are all setup but if you want something like a red dot or maybe higher powered scope your options are going to be very limited. The two stage trigger setup is really cool, you can shoot in either semi or full auto just by how you press the trigger rather than having to change between the two options like most semi and full auto rifles. Some other positives are the see through magazine, the quick spring change system, being sling ready and the ability to shorten the gun up significantly for transport by removing the barrel. A very unique AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure.

Trigger Pull: The Single Action Only trigger pull on the Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle is a lot like what you would find on a real steel Ruger 10/22. It is short and light in action making it light and quick enough for action shooting or sniping with accuracy from long range. You will have to work the bolt to load an Airsoft BB in to the breach and ready the single action trigger for the first shot, but then the blowback action will do that for you for the rest of the shots.
Accuracy: I have not shot the Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle or tested it out so far, so I don’t really have much to say in terms of accuracy or if it is close to the claimed 400+ fps, but I will be making a full dedicated Field Test Shooting Video for it a bit down the road when I get caught up with my Field Test Shooting Videos. Realism: The Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle is not an exact copy or Replica of a Ruger 10/22 22LR Rifle but it does share a lot of its design and mechanical functions. Most people when they buy a base Ruger 10/22 generally do a lot of upgrading and modifications to them that ultimately make it look a lot more like the Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle at the end of the day. As it is Gas Blowback it functions very similar to the real steel version with working blowback action which does give a bit of recoil to it and allows for a very nice short and light single action trigger.

I am always a sucker for Gas Blowback Airguns in general and with Airsoft Rifles the vast majority tend to be AEG’s, so when I get the chance to review a GBB Airsoft rifle, I am always a bit excited to do so. The Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle has a lot going for it, there are lots of metal parts where you want them to be, a great single action trigger, mounting options for a red dot or optical sight along with M-LOK on the sides and bottom for whatever accessories you plan to add to it. It’s nice that it starts out pretty light as the addition of a scope, perhaps a foregrip, maybe a taclight and or laser will bring up the weight. I most certainly am looking forward to the Field Test Shooting Video so I can see how this one performs.
In this Field Test Shooting Video for the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle, I checkout the velocity and power here in the Replica Airguns Indoor Airgun Shooting Range, to find out if the real world velocity is in the ballpark of the claimed 450+ fps velocity by KJWorks. I also shoot 10 rounds into a paper target from a distance of 30 feet to see how accurate of a grouping I can get. Starting first with my velocity test, I loaded up the magazine with propane gas along with a full magazine of .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. The temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius or 68 degrees Fahrenheit, so not super warm or cold, in warmer conditions I would expect slightly higher fps from the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle. KJWorks claims 450+ fps and my testing came pretty close to this with my five Chronograph readings hitting: 468, 451, 435, 436, 426 fps. Averaging 443 fps.
Next I made sure I still had 10 Airsoft rounds in the magazine and placed a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and shot all 10 rounds into the target using a semi rested shooting position, with my hands on a sand bag up front and sitting on a stool in the back. This allows me fairly stable shooting with less human factor. I did have to aim a few inches low on the center of the target as the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle does shoot a bit high at 30 feet. 7 out of the 10 rounds hit all within about 2 inches of each other and then three rounds came out of the group increasing the 10 shot grouping from 2 inches to around 5 inches. I am wondering if perhaps I had some miss-formed Airsoft BB’s in the bunch as the shots that came out, really did come out a lot compared to the tighter 2 inch 7 shot main grouping.
Overall the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle performed well, the velocity was right on the mark and was fairly consistent dropping off a bit as the Rifle cooled down from the gas. Accuracy was very good side to side but up and down I did notice more variation. The trigger is a double action only trigger so it is a bit longer and heavier than a real steel Ruger MK1 that is known for its beautiful short and light Single Action Trigger. Still the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle performed well and I think with some good quality Airsoft BB’s, perhaps even a bit heavier than I used in this test, one could improve the accuracy at range and really be able to use this for some longer range outdoor Airsoft games. As it is a fairly light and short Rifle it would make for a super easy to pack around sniper rifle option.
In this months Replica Airguns Mystery Unboxing Preview Video, I take a look at 4 new items that showed up at my door. Two Airsoft Rifles, one being AEG and the other one a GBB. I also received two accessories for the GEM Alias super tiny multi ammo CO2 Pistol, A .50 caliber Paintball Barrel for it and and a 12 gram CO2 Adapter.
Both Airsoft Rifles are new to me from a company called Novritsch which is a higher end brand so the pricing is not cheap for either Airsoft Rifle. It was nice to get an AEG and GBB to review, the Novritsch SSR77 AEG Airsoft Rifle is a Replica of the Steyr AUG while the Novritsch SSQ22 GBB Airsoft Rifle is essentially a custom modded Ruger 10/22 copy, at least from what I can tell, it is solid and really well built.
I have already made a Table Top Video for the GEM Alias CO2 Pistol but I have been waiting for the .50 Caliber Paintball Barrel to show up so I can test out all 4 barrel ammo options. I also really wanted the 12 gram CO2 Adapter so I don’t have to use the small 8 gram CO2’s which are harder to find and not as cost effective as the 12 gram CO2. So now I am totally ready to make the GEM Field Test Shooting Review.
This will be my final Interview Video for SHOT Show 2025. I did get to talk with someone from Crosman but the Daisy rep was not around totally with so I did my best to talk about a couple of the Daisy products that I felt were interesting. If you are not aware, Crosman and Daisy have now joined forces together along with Gamo, Benjamin and SPLATRBALL so all of these product were on display at the Crosman Daisy Booth. I focussed on the Crosman M1 Full Auto Carbine and their updated all black ST1 Full Auto BB Rifle. We then took a look at some of the Game Face Airsoft Products and then I performed my own Interview/Review for Daisy talking about the Woodland Trail Model 1911 and Model 25 Lever and Pump Action BB Rifles.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Mark from Umarex again at SHOT Show 2025 and Mark went over some of the new products from Umarex coming out this year. Make started of by showing me two new MOS (Modular Optic System) Gen 5 Glocks in a Glock 17 and Glock 19 versions. Both come with Umarex based red dot sights but you can change them up for something different if you choose to down the road. We then took a look at the new Umarex AER16 AR AEG Rifle in 4.5mm Steel BB rather than 6mm Airsoft similar to the Barra e400 that came out last year. In a nutshell it is a battery/spring operated 4.5mm Steel BB Full Auto AR Replica. Mark then showed us some A&L AK based AEG Airsoft Rifles they are now distributing that feature Full steel body construction with high-quality real laminated wood handguard and skeletal folding stocks. These are one to one in terms of size and weight adn very detailed. We then finished up the interview taking a look at the Legends Saddle Lever Action Shell Loading Rifle and the Umarex Smith & Wesson Competitor Shell Loading revolver.
Luckily I was able to find some time with James again this year and James gave us all the new details on some of the KWA updated and new products. Starting with the KWA ATP-Z Blowback Airsoft Training Pistol added recently to the KWA lineup, James also showed us a few versatile Carbine Pistol Kits made specifically for the ATP-Z and ATP-GT Pistols. Not yet fully released, James went over their updated TAC-9 hopefully coming out this year. We then got a nice tour of the updated Radian Model 1 AEG Airsoft Rifle with built in recoil system also built into KWA’s Q10 AEG Airsoft Rifle.
I spoke with Jacob from Barra and he went over a lot of new products adn updated products Barra is introducing this year. We discussed some new PCP Air Rifles with Canada import options, Jacob went over some new updates to their 1866 Muti-pump BB and Pellet Lever Action Rifle, and he went over Barra’s Gen 2 400e AEG BB rifle which include a higher capacity magazine, an increased velocity and unproved internal tolerances for smoother BB flow. Lastly Barra is introducing high grade 4.5mm BB’s that a re procession ground to be more uniform for improved accuracy and better BB feeding. Great for full auto guns.
It was nice to run into ASG (Action Sports Games) right away and talk with Bob for ASG. Bob always has a great understanding of the ASG product line and each year I Interview him and find out all the news and updated product in the ASG lineup. This year Bob’s goes over the new ASG CZ P-10 C CO2 Blowback BB Pistol, the Action Army C1 Pro Bolt Action CO2 Airsoft Rifle, ASG’s new Frag Impact Sound Grenades, along with some new additions to the Shadow 2 Series of Airsoft Pistols. Was a great start to this years SHOT Show 2025!
I’m back from SHOT Show 2025 Las Vegas and finished transferring and uploading all the video from all the cameras we shot it all on. We had a great time, we met a lot of great folks at the booths and it’s now time to put it all together and make some videos for everyone so I can share the experience!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle is double action only which will make it a bit longer and heavier than the real steal Ruger MK1 as it is Single Action Only. The trigger is smooth however and does have a nice satisfying click to it that sounds like a firing pin being release. The unfortunate part is that the real steel version has an amazing single action only trigger so the contrast between the Airsoft and 22LR version may make this gun not as practical is an optional training tool if you own the 22LR version.
Accuracy: This part of the review is yet to be determined as I have not done my Field Test or Shooting Test for this carbine, so stay posted for my official Field Shooting Test. For now you can watch my Ruger MK I Gas version Field Test Shooting Review to get an idea on how the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle version should perform, as they are very similar with the Carbine version having a longer barrel and shoulder stock added to it with should increase the velocity and perhaps the accuracy a bit.
Build Quality: KJWorks as usual distributes quality Airguns, the fit and finish on the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle is very good and there is good use of metal where it needs to be like with the upper receiver, the inner and outer barrel, the bolt and other internal mechanical parts, the trigger, the safety, the rear fully adjustable sight and the full size drop out metal magazine that holds the Gas and the Airsoft BB's.
Realism: The KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle is based on real steel Ruger MK1 and looks very close to it for the most part. There is no blowback operation or bolt operation so that means that only a double action trigger is possible, this is a bit unfortunate since the real Ruger MK1 has an absolutely beautiful smooth and light single action trigger. On the positive side you can field strip the KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle just like the real version but you will need to remove the rear stock that covers the area you need to get to to field strip it.
Pros:
If you own a real Ruger 22LR you will be use to the design layout.
Adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation.
Metal hop-up for backspin tuning.
Full size all metal drop out magazine that holds the Airsoft BB’s and gas.
Satisfying trigger sound, sounds like a real firing pin a bit, not clanky like many other Airguns.
Full Metal upper and barrel.
Metal rear sight, bolt, trigger and magazine.
Non blowback helps with velocity and gas efficiency.
Field strips like original MK Series (will need to remover rear stock).

Comments:
The KJWorks MK1 Carbine Green Gas Airsoft Rifle is really just a modified MK1 Pistol by adding a longer barrel and rear shoulder stock to the pistol grip. I guess it is a good use of an already popular pistol design to give us a light weight and somewhat compact Airsoft sniper rifle for Airsoft games as it does have a fairly high velocity claim. Because of the high 450+ fps I would not recommend it to anyone playing in close quarters as it could injure other players so keep that in mind. If you are looking for a lower cost and fairly compact Sniper Rifle for some outdoor shooting, then it might be just the right pick for that. I am hoping my upcoming Field Test Shooting Video showcases it nicely so keep checking back for that Review Video down the road a bit.
Type: Less Lethal Pistol. Manufacturer:Umarex - T4E. Model:P2P HDP 50 Compact. Materials: Metal & Polymer. Weight: 1.3 pounds (585 grams). Barrel: 4 inches (108mm) Smooth bore. Total Length: 7.2 inches (183mm). Power Source: 1x8 gram CO2. Action: Semi auto - Double action only trigger. Ammo Type: .50 Caliber Rubber Ball, Pepper Ball, Powder Ball. Ammo Capacity: 4 Round spring fed internal magazine. FPS: 365 (11 Joules).
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol is double action only but not overly long or heavy. There does not seem to be any ammo friction which is nice, so each round feels about the same with spring tension not playing much of a factor. In order to use the trigger, the Pistol will need to be fully charged by loading an 8 gram CO2 and giving it a smack on the bottom of the pistol grip of the CO2 screw. This will pierce the 8 gram CO2, charging the gun with pressure and activation the trigger mechanism. When the CO2 pressure becomes too low, the pressure indicator will retract and the trigger will not function and a new CO2 will be required for more shooting.
Accuracy: So far I have not tried out the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol in the Replica Airguns Indoor Airgun Shooting Range, I have shot its big brother the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 and it did shoot around a 6 inch 6 shot grouping for me with a velocity of around 450 fps that worked out to around a 15 joule energy rating. I do not expect the same from the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol as it is claimed with a lower velocity of 365 and an energy rating of 11 joules. It should get pretty close to this based on it’s bigger brother’s performance.
Build Quality: The build quality of the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol is very good overall. It is mostly made out of plastic which is fine, since it is designed to be a compact and portable pistol which should be on the lighter side. There is metal where it needs to be in most of the mechanical areas including the barrel, trigger, charging system and I am sure other internal parts. The plastic parts feel well made and fit and finish is very good. I wish the trigger guard that swings down to load the ammo clicked back into place better as it seems easy for it to open up and potentially get caught on clothing or objects while using it.
Realism: This version of the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol comes with the orange slide area to show that it is not a lethal firearm. It may also come in an all black version but at this time we only sell the colored slide version. This does make it obvious that the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol is not a “Real Firearm” designed for lethal encounters, which in Canada is a good thing since our self protection laws seem to favor the criminal more than the victim. Making sure you are using a tool designed to deter a criminal rather than harm or kill them, is hopefully going to keep you out of trouble with the legal system. That said the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol does look kinda like a modern or futuristic semi auto pistol and functions much the same but with a lot less force.
Pros:
Not many options for a true less-lethal option here in Canada. This Airgun is purpose built for less lethal use so it has what I believe a decent amount power to hopefully deter an intruder.
It is clearly marked in orange to indicate it is not an actual lethal firearm. When protecting yourself in Canada you have to be cautious with your intentions, and having clear orange markings will help in your case to show that you where not trying to give the impression of using a real firearm.
Decent power of claimed 365 fps with a 11 Joules energy rating.
Can store the 8 gram CO2 in it and activate with a quick hit to the bottom of the CO2 screw.
Holds 4 rounds in the internal magazine which hopefully gets the job done. Should be able to reload at least one more time for a total of 8 shots per 8 gram CO2.
Black post front and orange notch rear sights have enough contrast to make sighting on most targets stand out.
Double action trigger feels smooth and not too heavy, also has a trigger safety on it.
Comes with 10 rubber and 10 powder balls along with three 8 gram CO2 to get you started.
Compact size is nice if you want to cary it with you, (law permitting).

I really liked the big full size brother of the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol and it did turn out to not only be fairly accurate but also performed well in the power category, coming in even a bit higher than the claimed 13 joules of energy with a real world rating for me of 15 joules using standard .50 caliber rubber balls. So I am hoping the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol with its 365 fps rating and 11 claimed joules will at least hit the mark. Yes it is a bit less powerful but it is also a lot smaller and more compact if you where interest in conceal caring it. Again law permitting in your area! Stay posted for my Field Test Shooting Video where I will find out if the Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact CO2 Less Lethal Pistol performs as expected.
This video was made right at the end of December 2024 but I am posting it in the new year so we will call it a late December video… That makes two Mystery Box Videos for December 2024 which means a lot of new products on my plate to review this new year. In this Field Test Shooting Video Review of the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol I set out the Velocity in FPS using a Chronograph along with the accuracy shooting 10 rounds at a paper target setup 30 feet away. Umarex claims just under 400 fps so the goal will be to see how close we can get to that power rating. I have already made a Table Top Review Video for the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol where I go into details about specification and also show more close up video of this NBB CO2 BB Pistol. Make sure to watch that video if that is the information you are looking for as this video only goes into performance characteristics.
For my Velocity Test of the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol, I shot 5 rounds through my Chronograph using a brand new CO2 in a typical room temperature environment, not too cold or too warm. I was able to get an average velocity of 355 fps with my slowest recored shot hitting 344 fps and my fastest recored shot hitting 362 fps. I did notice that the fps seemed to increase a bit with each shot which is not typical of CO2 Airguns. This may mean the CO2 was not fully pierced but I did crank it down pretty tight. Perhaps there is more potential power out of this CO2 pistol by using a slightly different brand CO2 than I was using, as sometimes a CO2 can just not fight properly, so by switching CO2 brands with a slightly different nozzle shape, you can get a better fit?
Moving on to my accuracy test, I setup a brand new paper target 30 feet away form my shooting position which uses a sand bag up front to rest the gun on and me sitting on a stool in the back to help stabilize each shot. There is also some human factor when performing accuracy shooting totes with any gun but I do my best to get the most out of each Airgun. The KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol shot very well centered on the target left to right and just a bit on the high side but not by much. The 10 shot grouping did spread out a bit to around 4 inches or so but it was an even spread. I would have liked to have seen just bit tighter grouping, even a 3 inch grouping means you are going to hit a pop can at 30 feet pretty consistently.
All in all the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is a fun plinker with enough power and accuracy at the end of the day to enjoy blasting targets in your back yard effectively. The double action trigger is pretty good, like most double action trigger it is a little longer but it is smooth and the trigger weigth is light to medium with a predictive breaking point at the end. I am a Sig Sauer fan so I do like the look and feel of this pistol an even though it is mostly plastic, the all metal magazine adds enough weight to make it feel more substantial in your hand than what you would expect form a mostly plastic Airgun. if you want a fun inexpensive plinker that is going to be efficient on CO2 and cost very little to shoot then the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol would be a good choice.

AmmunitionCapacity: 21 Round full size metal magazine. FPS: Claimed 395.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is the same as pretty much all of the DOA trigger low cost BB Pistols, where the trigger has to do most of the work rather than the blowback operation. Much of which is pulling back the fairly strong internal hammer spring. That said the Double Action Only trigger pull is lighter than most DOA triggers with an medium or average length of trigger pull. I would say the trigger is suitable as an action shooter for quick repetitive shots.
Accuracy: At this point I have reviewed a similar older version of this KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol. I did make a Field test video where I Tested it out along with 2 other pistols so I will add link to that video here but I do plan on making a dedicated Field Test Video for this newer version of the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol down the road a bit. For now all I can tell you is it shot around 350 fps with about a 3 inch grouping shooting 10 rounds at a paper target setup 30 feet away. We will see how I do in test number two!
Build Quality: The KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is mostly all metal with the exception of the full size all metal magazine, internal barrel, trigger and some other internal metal parts. The slide and frame are however plastic so when you take the all metal magazine out of the gun it does feel rather light weight and cheap, when you pop the magazine back in, it all of a sudden feels so much heftier in the hand with a decent overall weight of a bit over a pound and a half. I like that the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is not made like a lot of other low cost BB Pistols where they simply mould two halves of the gun and slap them together with screws on one side. The KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is built more like a traditional pistol with a separate frame and slide along with the magazine. The slide does not function in any way however.
Realism: The KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol as it is made more like a real gun in terms of separate parts, does look more realistic as there are no telltale screws on one side. It also has a recessed barrel and the full size drop out metal magazine helps out with realism. You also have a working safety and magazine release but the hammer is just there for show, as it doesn’t even function when you pull the trigger back. You can only work the hammer with your thumb, and even then it does not function for any actual use shooting the pistol. Even though it is mostly plastic, the 1.67 pound weight does give the impression of more metal than is actually in the Airgun.
Pros:
Decent weight to it considering it is mostly plastic, full all metal magazine helps a lot.
Very Accurate Sig Sauer SP2022 replica without licensing.
Recessed barrel for added realism.
Full size all metal magazine.
Front sight does have a white dot for easier sight viewing.

Comments:
I for the most part prefer blowback Airguns as I like the single action triggers you get with them, and that little bit of recoil that make shooting them that much more fun. The KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is a good option if you not as interested in blowback action or perhaps want something a little bit less expensive with a bit higher velocity and more shots per CO2. You also tend to get more reliability with a non blowback Airgun as there are a lot less working parts to fail on you. I am not worried about the plastic as it is well made but a metal slide would be nice and there are version of these KWC 2022 pistols that do have metal slides, but they tend to come and go and are not always available. The only difference between the two would be the additional weight and better balance of the metal slide. the KWC SP2022 NBB CO2 BB Pistol is a nice looking Airgun and should perform well in my upcoming Field Test Shooting Video.
Todays video is all about “damage”! How much damage can each of these .50 caliber ball options deliver to an object and the object of interest in todays video are a couple of over rip pumpkins that needed putting out of their misery. Luckily when I made this video the weather outside was cooperating with me and I go tI nice break in the rain. This was awesome as I was not looking forward to al the cleanup I would of had to of done if I performed this test inside the Replica Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range.
This is part three of my three part Indoor Filed Test Shooting Video for the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol. In this third video I test out the velocity and energy shooting 5 rounds through my Chronograph using the 8 gram All Steel Balls that I purchased on my own to test with this Less Lethal Pistol. I also shoot 5 rounds of the same All Steel Balls into a paper target setup 30 feet down range to get an idea on what to expect accuracy wise with the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol. I have already uploaded Field Test Shooting Videos one and two where I test out 1.6 gram All Rubber Balls and 2.7 gram Rubber/Steel Balls. If you have not watched my Table Top Video for the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol, then make sure to do so for closer up video and all the specifications and details.
Umarex claims a max velocity of 485 fps with an energy rating of 13 Joules with the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol when using their supplied ammo. I am assuming this would be using the Powder Balls as they are the lightest option of Ammo that are included in the box with this pistol and will have the highest velcoity. In my Chronograph testing I shot 5 rounds using the 8 gram All Steel balls. The velocity for the 8 gram All Steel Balls was much slower than the 1.6 gram All Rubber Balls and 2.7 gram Rubber/Steel Balls as expected, but they did stay fairly consistent ranging from a low of 132 fps to a high of 151 fps, averaging 138 fps. The overall energy rating ended up being the slowest by far out of all the rounds I tested in this Less Lethal Pistol, with an energy rating of only 7 Joules. Based on energy alone I would suggest using the All Rubber Balls as they achieved the highest energy rating at 15 Joules, even higher than claimed by Umarex.
Now that we understand that the 8 gram All Steel .50 Caliber All Steel Balls are not only the lowest velocity by a long shot, they also have the lowest energy rating again by a lot as compared to the other rounds tested. Maybe when I compare the accuracy during my target Test the .50 Caliber All Reel Rounds may redeem themselves. After Shooting 5 of the 8 Gram All Steel Rounds into my Paper Target from a distance of 30 feet, I did actually get the tightest grouping, even with a heavily fading CO2 that was near it’s end, so velocity did taper off making the shots shoot lower and lower with each shot. I did throw the final 5th shot out as I could literally see it loft to the target but even with the low CO2 and inconsistent velocity, I got my best grouping from the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol with a 3 inch grouping just slightly to the left of the bullseye but very close.
I was not surprised with the performance of the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol using the 8 gram All Steel Balls for this third Field Test. Velocity was much lower as expected than the other lighter rounds tested, but most surprising, the energy was around half of the All Rubber Balls. Perhaps the metal rounds just did not reach their maximum speed in such a short barrel due to them being a so much heavier weight? My conclusion on Ammo choice for the Umarex T4E P2P HDP 50 Gen 2 CO2 Less Lethal Pistol would be to go with either the All Rubber Balls or the Rubber Steel Balls. The All Rubber Balls by far had the highest velocity and energy rating but I did feel like the Rubber Steel Balls even though they where moving slower and had slightly less energy, seemed to hit the target with the most force based on the sound I was hearing while performing the testing. Either round will for sure make an intruder think twice about continuing their course of bad behavior. I will probably do some testing on how each of these rounds effects different targets in the future, I just need to figure out what I want to shoot at…
