G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: AEG Airsoft Rifles
Manufacturer: G&G.
Model: RK Beta AK
Materials: Mostly metal/some plastic.
Weight: 7.1 pounds (3.2 kg).
Total Length: 28.5 inches (72.4 cm).
Barrel: 9 inches (22.9 cm) barrel non-rifled.
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Single action semi & full auto.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: High cap 600 round magazine.
FPS: 390 fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle is short and light as it is basically a simple electric on/off switch that completes a circuit and tells the motor to turn, which activates the cycling of the spring piston. For this reason there is no real creep or feel of a release. When you get to a preset point in the trigger, the motor circuit is closed allowing for either semi or full auto, depending on your selector switch position at the time.

Accuracy: I will be making a dedicated Field Test Shooting Video for the G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle to find out what the actual velocity is in fps. I will also test what kind of accuracy I can get shooting a paper target in both semi and full auto from 30 feet away. For now I have no idea what to expect but as this is most certainly not a cheap Airsoft AEG Rifle, I am hoping for good results to justify the higher price point.

Build Quality: The build quality of the G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle is very good, G&G Airsoft Rifles in general are well built. You are going to find metal in most of this AEG Airsoft Rifle including the receiver, dust cover, trigger guard, trigger, selector switch, barrel, front and rear sights and the magazine. The only plastic to be found will be in the pistol grip, rear stock and 3 of the picatinny rails. Fit and finish is very good but the stock and pistol grip material does seem to show scratches really easily.

Realism: The G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle is a 1 to 1 scale Airsoft reproduction of the AK 47/74 in a compact modernized version. I don’t believe it is based on exactly one specific brand or type of AK 47 or AK 74, but is more or less a stylized version designed and built by G&G. The G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle does have a lot of metal and weight to it adding to the realism and most of the mechanical parts work similar to a real steel version of an AK 47/74. G&G has added a bit of a bolt cycle motion with a motor that actuates it to some degree but this is not like the look and feel of a real internal bolt from an actual AK 47/74. Still a nice touch.

Pros:

  • Lots of metal in construction where you need it with good overall weight and feel.

  • 6 rail attachment options up front for lots of mounting positions.

  • Left side option to attach an additional AK style sight mount.

  • Adjustable front sight for elevation.

  • Nice and compact for easy maneuverability.

  • Rear stock has lots of room for battery sizes and options.

  • Dust cover comes off for easy access to internals.

  • G&G high quality build.

  • Comes with sling mounting options.

  • Super easy hopup adjustment slider.

  • Nice high capacity 600 round metal magazine.

  • No orange tip.

Cons:

  • Rear sight is all but useless.

  • Stock and grip scratch really easily.

  • Priced on the higher side.

Comments:

The G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle may be priced a bit on the high side for some people but it is a solid AEG Airsoft Rifle and it seems there are not as many AK options out there so it is nice to have an offering from G&G. I like the almost full metal construction and I find the modernized styling and compact size to be appealing and would make it a great option for CQB Airsoft games. I am not sure what is going on with the rear site, as it looks like it is a sight, but does not have the sight grove in it? Maybe I am missing something here but other than opting to put a red dot way up front, your only other option is to put an AK side rail and mount a sight on the rear just above the metal dust cover. I am hoping when I make my Field Test Shooting Video for the G&G RK Beta AK AEG Airsoft Rifle, it performs well for me to justify the higher price point.

Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video, I test out the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle in my Indoor Replica Airguns Sea Can Shotgun Range to see what the velocity/fps is and what the accuracy is like shooting .20 gram Airsoft BB’s through my Chronograph. I shoot in both semi and full auto at a paper target setup 30 feet down range. If you are more interested in information like details and specifications for the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle, then make sure to watch my Table Top Video I already made that also includes some nice close up video for you to check out…

First up I loaded up a mag of .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and proceeded to shoot 5 rounds through my Chronograph to get a baseline average. Specna Arms claims around 370-380 fps using the preinstalled internal spring setup. I averaged 382 fps with my slowest shot recording 379 fps and my fastest shot hitting 383 fps. All of them really close in terms of velocity and right on the mark of the claimed 370-380 fps using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s.

With the Velocity Test in the bag, I moved on to my Accuracy Test for the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle where I first shot 10 rounds in semi auto to see how tight of a grouping I could get, and then I also finished up the rest of the partially full magazine in full auto to see if that grouping opened up a bit with a lot more rounds and a bit of full auto rocking around. For my 10 shot semi auto grouping I did get around a 1 to 1.5 inch spread, and notably all 10 shots hit the bullseye with no sight adjustments out of the box. Unleashing the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 in full auto, the group did spread out just a little bit to around 3 inches or so, but again right on top of the bullseye for the most part. Very impressive results for sure!

Overall I am super impressed with the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle! At around $200 Canadian you get a well made decent quality AEG Airsoft Rifle that not only looks and feels really good, but performs as good if not better than some much more expensive AEG Airsoft Rifles out there. All you really need to get on top of this purchase would be a decent charger and battery setup along with some quality Airsoft BB’s and then you are ready to go. No need for any more upgrades at least not right away. So if you are looking for an affordable AK type AEG Airsoft Rifle with no real compromises to speak of, look no further than the Specna Arms Core SA-J73 AEG Airsoft Rifle. Not much else will be a better option in this price range.

Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review.

It took me a bit to get to this Field Test Review for the Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle but here we are, if you want more specifications and details along with closeup video of the Arcturus AK06 then make sure to checkout my Table Tope Review Video for it. In this video I will be testing out the Velocity and accuracy in both semi and full auto here in the Replica Airguns Sea Can Indoor Airgun Range.

First off I placed 5 rounds through my Chronograph shooting .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and I found the Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle to be very consistent with the fastest shot hitting 370 fps and the slowest shot hitting 368, this average an impressive 369 fps which is perfect for most Airsoft Gam shooting situations.

I then placed a fresh paper target up 30 feet down range and proceeded to shot 10 rounds into the target using a seated and rested shooting position. I followed this up with a spring full of shots in full auto with semi auto and full auto getting pretty much the exact same results which I would say to be about a 1.5-2 inch grouping. Out of the box the Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle did shot a bit high making me aim about 6 inches lower to achieve hits in the bullseye. Perhaps hope could remedy this as the sights are too adjustable…

I really did like the Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle as it performed very well for me in terms of both power and accuracy. I was not a fan of the built in sights as the notch in the back was so low that it barely lined up allowed for it to be inline with the front post sight, I kind of had to guess where the notch was to make it work. I would for sure put a red dot on the rail as the built in sights are pretty much useless. you can also see in this video that I had to take off the top dust receiver cover in order to place my battery in it, you will need a very specific battery in order to have it installed and close the top cover. those two things aside the Arcturus AK06 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle is a really great AK Staled AEG Airsoft Rifle in my books stay tuned for my Arcturus AK05 AK AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review coming soon!

I do have a some more videos to make from the last Mystery Box Preview being a Specna Arms AEG PDW AR Airsoft Rifle and a Paintball Pump Shotgun that I still need to make both Table Top and Field Test Shooting Video for.

Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Replica Airguns Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle to see what the actual velocity is and what kind of accuracy we can expect shooting 30 feet down range into a paper target, I shoot in both semi auto (10 rounds) and then Full auto (A bunch of rounds) to see how this will asl effect the accuracy.

Make sure to also watch my Table Top Video Review for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft to find out more about it’s specifications and features along with some nice close up video of it.

Starting off with the velocity portion of this Field Test Shooting Video, I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and averaged 384 fps. The slowest shot was 380 fps while the fastest shot was 390, so only a 10 fps spread! This is a nice velocity as it’s not too hot for indoor skirmishes or too slow for further out shooting outside.

Next I setup a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle in both semi auto and full auto to see what kind of grouping I could expect. I did not sight in the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as I like to see how they perform right out of the box. I did notice I was shooting a little bit high and just slightly to the left. Elevation adjustment can be easily adjusted using either the front post sight, the rear notch sight or even a little bit with hop-up so this is not a problem. There is however no way I could see to adjust windage so any corrections you may need ot make left to right you will have to do using your aim point. That said I was able to get around a 1.5 inch grouping with 10 rounds in semi auto mode.

Switching things up to Full auto so fun mode I proceeded to place a whole bunch of rounds into the target, I will estimate around 75 or so and the grouping only spread out to about 2 inches so semi or full auto you will get great accuracy with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle! The rate of fire using an 8.4 volt battery is not super fast but the cycle rate on a real steel AK47 is also not super fast but if you want to speed it up and also have a more responsive trigger then I would suggest using a higher voltage LiPo battery.

I was very impressed overall with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as it is a relatively inexpensive Airsoft Rifle with lots of included bonuses like two magazines, a battery and charger. Even with the low price and bundled add ons it performed really well for me. SO if you are looking for an AK type Airsoft Rifle I would suggest you take a look at the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as an option for sure!

Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft AEG.
Distributer: Cybergun
Model: Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical 60th Anniversary.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 6.82 pounds (3100 grams).
Barrel: 457mm (18 inches)
Total Length: 709-950mm (27.9-37.4 inches).
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Semi, full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 550 rounds.
FPS: 400.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what you will find on most electric switch controlled AEG Airsoft Guns. It has a short to mid length very light take-up with a light release which generally has a bit of a delay as the motor pulls the spring back and release the piston. This delay is shorter with higher voltage batteries as the motor will run quicker allowing for a shorter delay and also a higher rate of fire in full auto mode.

Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to get to that video this week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine so we will find out together when I get to my Indoor Field Test Shooting video in a couple of days.

Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle seems fairly well built. You will find metal parts in the barrel, front and back sights, receiver, charging bolt, bolt cover, rings, trigger and trigger guard. The plastic components would be the folding stock, magazine, RIS hand-guard, fore-grip and pistol grip. Fit and finish seem good and the overall weight is heavy but not too heavy. Internally you get a metal gear box with metal gears so you should expect to have a reliable and long lasting shooting experience with this Airsoft Rifle.

Realism: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure looks the part of a more modern tactical AK47 with the majority of the mechanical parts functioning like a real steel version as in the charging bolt, bolt cover, sector switch, foldable rear stock and of course the magazine release.

Pros:

  • Mostly metal construction with good overall weight and feel.

  • Lots of rail attachment options on RIS rail hand-guard.

  • Adjustable sights, smaller increments on front, easy quick adjustment for elevation at distance on the back.

  • Comes with a folding fore-grip.

  • Rear folding stock helps to shorten up the rifle in transport or for storage.

  • Comes with two high capacity magazines.

  • Comes with a battery and charger.

  • Comes with sling mounts and a basic sling.

  • Super easy access to change out the battery.

  • Easy access to hop-up via charging bolt.

  • FPS should be nice and high, good for long or mid range shooting.

  • Cybergun Kalashnikov licensed, also 60th Anniversary edition.

  • Orange tip should be easy enough to remove.

  • Price point is fairly good for all that you get.

Cons:

  • No simulated blowback action.

  • Sights are only adjustable for elevation.

  • Magazines are plastic, feel a bit cheap and light.

Comments:
The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what I would consider a great value AEG Airsoft Rifle and there are not as many AK style Airsoft Rifles to choose from as there are AR’s so it’s nice to see this one in the lineup. You do get a lot for what you are paying, lots of metal parts externally and internally with a hefty almost 7 pound weight to it. I also like that you get everything you need to get going other than the Airsoft BB’s, so you get the battery and charger along with two 500+ magazines, they even add in a cheap sling just in case you want to throw it over your shoulder!
