For my first official Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol! Perhaps I should start calling these videos Sea Can or Shipping Container Shooting videos? Anyway, like always I put some rounds through the Chronograph to see what kind of real world fps I get from the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol. You will all be happy to know the Chrony is working really well in its new home. I played around with it a bit and found that using the light kit I bought gets me very consistent fps readings :)
Since the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is a multi-pump airgun there is no real need to shoot more than 3 or so shots, after all there is a fair amount of pumping involved. After three consistent test shots the variation was only about 2 fps apart coming in at an average of 491 fps using Crosman flathead pellets that I would say are around 12-13 grain in weight. Just for fun a did a half pump only cracking the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol 5 times to see what a half power shot would result in and it did scrub off about 200 fps, still good enough for target plinking.
Next up I performed my accuracy test shooting from close to 30 feet back on a paper target using a rested position, (sitting in the back with my hands resting on a sand bag). Still a bit of human factor involved but stable enough to get a good idea of the accuracy for the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol. I had a bit of a camera technical problem so I ended up performing this test twice, the first time I got about a 3/4 inch 5 shot group. The second time I rushed it a bit and ended up widening out the group a little.
Overall the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is a really great target and even small pest close range pistol that you can pickup at a very affordable price. I really wish we carried a few of the Crosman airguns, at least ones like this, perhaps down the road...

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun KWC Colt 1911 M45A1 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is what you would expect from a true single action 1911 styled pistol and typical to all the other KWC 1911's on the market. It has a short take up and then a nice light and crisp release. The working grip safety is a nice touch requiring your palm to be pressed against it for the trigger and hammer to operate..
Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Cybergun KWC Colt 1911 M45A1 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol, I imagine it should perform well considering it has adjustable spin-up or hop-up. According to the manufacturers claimed fps, we should get somewhere in the mid to high 300 fps range using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's. I'll add this one to the list of airguns I need to field test review!
Build Quality: Most KWC built full blowback airguns are built pretty well with an almost all metal build and good overall fit but sometimes the finish can wear off a bit especially in the high points. The Cybergun KWC Colt 1911 M45A1 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol seems to have a bit heavier finish on it. I looks really good and seems to be holding up well.
Realism: The Cybergun KWC Colt 1911 M45A1 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol is a close replica of the real steel Colt 1911 M45A1 in almost every way other than the fact that it shoot s6mm airsoft BB's rather than 45 auto bullets :) The only real notable cosmetic difference I saw was the rail having less notches in it. Other than that it is bang on including the layered grips. Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.
Pros:
All metal construction - Good weight and solid feeling gun.
Nice heavy blowback action.
Very Accurate 1911 M45A1 styled replica.
True 1911 Single action trigger, excellent pull, very smooth and light.
Accurate trigger design and working grip safety.
Lots of tactical upgrades on this version (Tac style trigger and hammer, textured grips, ambidextrous safety, white dot sights, Rail for accessories)
Love the desert tan color and layered grips.
Cons:
Sacrifice fps and shots per CO2 because of the heavy blowback but worth it.
Finish on the Cybergun and KWC guns can were off on the high points a bit but some people like the look.
Comes with the orange tip (I took mine off).

I have always been a big fan of the KWC line of full blowback airguns and this one is no exception. It's kind of interesting that KWC does not seem to make there own blinded out versions of these guns and that a company like Cybergun is distributing them? They do look really great and this entire line with all the variations and new models will for sure keep selling these airguns. And they don't just come in Airsoft versions, I will also be taking a look at some similar 4.5mm Steel BB KWC made airguns shortly!

I got a lot done this week in the Shipping Container Project Office and Airgun Shooting Range. Finished up all the drywall office mudding, I primed and painted the the office, connected up all the electrical and office lighting and installed the hardwood and baseboard along with the trimming. All that's left in the office is some caulking, paint touchup and then I have to figure out how I'm going to finish up the shooting hole? I do have some ideas for it though...
Next week I will be working on these odds and ends and hopefully may even get the shooting range spray foam insulted?
About three weeks ago I started the interior construction of the Shipping Container Project. So far I have cut out the window and door, framed the office in, installed the window and door, done some preliminary painting, wired in electricity for the entire unit, added an internet line, run underground wiring to the main house, installed insulation and vapor barrier and last but not least, added the drywall. I would have to say the worst is over and now I look forward to more of the finishing work like painting, flooring, connecting the electrical plugs and lighting fixtures.
The only real big jobs left to do would be painting the outside of the Sea Can and spray foam insulating the shooting range area but the spray foaming I will be contracting out and getting it done professionally so that part will be easy at least!
Yup, another Shipping Container Project Update Video! For those of you interested in this project I am sure you have been waiting with baited breath ;) And for those wanting more airgun videos you are probably wondering when I will resume making more... Heck, I'm with you on that one, this manual labour stuff is way harder than making airgun videos, but it is all for the greater good. I will try and slip in some airgun related videos before this Shipping Container Project is finished, that's almost a promise!!!
At this point I am almost ready for drywall, all the electrical is completed including running the power and Internetunderground to the poorhouse and main house. I need to have my Internets at full jam, that's a must!
This week I will be getting the electirfcal all hooked up to the main box, adding isulation and vapour barrier, some more window baar cleanup and painting and by end of the week I hope to have the drywall in place along with the taping and first layer of mud.
Oh yah, this video also includes a huge bonfire, every spring and fall we usually burn all the fallen branches and yard debris, everyone comes out and enjoys the huge fire :)
The Shipping Container Project is moving along nicely, this past week I finished up my office area framing, I also got the door and window cutout and installed! Next up on my list is cleaning up and painting the window bars so I can make the unit a bit more secure. I suppose I will have to do the same with the metal door since it is in dire need of a facelift. Once the doors and windows are all taken care of I will be moving on to the electrical and wiring. My goal is to get all of this done by end of week... The sooner I get this Shipping Container Project done the sooner I can get back to making even better and more consistent airgun videos in my new home.
This week I started framing in my new office and in this video I show the wall closest to the airgun range where the door and shooting opening are situated. I managed to frame the back wall in too. I also talk about how much time it takes even before you pick up a drill or hammer simply planning everything out and acquiring all the supplies required for a project like this. I have spent a ton of time researching what I need to make this Shipping Container Project into the vision I have for it. Spoiler alert, in my next video the framing is all done including the installation of my window and outside door, glad that part is over!

Trigger Pull: Trigger pull on all the Umarex Single Action Army BB and Pellet Revolver is really great. Being that these Single Action Army Revolvers are single action only, most of the work is done while you pre-cock the hammer with your thumb. The trigger single action pull is under 2 pounds and has virtually no take up with a crisp release. I love the ratcheting sound of the cylinder as you pull back the hammer just like using a real SAA Revolver!
Accuracy: I have not yet tested the Umarex Colt Single Action Army Nickel & Gold Pellet Revolver so far but expect it to perform very similarly to the 4.5 inch barreled pellet shooting version I tested a while back. On that Field Test Shooting review I was abel to get pretty close to the claimed fps with an average of 378 fps. During my accuracy portion shooting from 30 feet back onto a paper target I got a very respectable .75 inch 6 shot grouping using a semi rested position. I do expect the slightly longer barrel on the Nickel and Gold version to perhaps improve fps slightly.
Build Quality: All of the Colt Single Action Army BB and Pellet Revolvers have a mostly all metal construction other than the plastic grips and any seals. The fit and finish is excellent with a great overall weight in the hand. The mechanical action of the hammer and trigger feels just like it would on a real single action army revolver. I really like the two tone nickel and Gold finish on this longer barreled SAA revolver.
Realism: In terms of replicating a real steel Colt Single Action Army Revolver, again these Umarex old west 6 shooters are absolutely amazing replicas. It's really hard to tell the airgun version apart from the real steel version, with the exception of the smaller diameter shells and the discreet safety switch located under the frame. Even the barrel is nicely recessed and has some fake rifling twists in it to give the appearance of a large caliber barrel opening. The CO2 is well hidden with the Allen key built into the handle so no ugly CO2 screw tab hanging down.
Longer barrel is unique and should get a bit higher fps than the standard shorter barreled versions.
Cons:
A lot more expensive than the standard barrel length in standard finishes.
Real version would shoot 45 caliber, dummy shells are actual closer to 357 so a bit smallish.
The safety in all of these ghost is really firm and hard to change.

We have pretty much established that these Umarex Colt Single Action Army pistols are fantastic airgun copies of the old west real steel 6 shooters in pretty much every way. For this reason they have been super popular! The Umarex Colt Single Action Army Nickel & Gold Pellet Revolver is yet another rendition of this same airgun but with a longer barrel and the tow tone Gold and Nickel finish. You will pay a bunch more for the longer barrel and two tone finish, is it worth it? If your on a budget perhaps not but if you want something that really stands out and may even perform just a little better than pony up the extra bucks and pick one of these beauties up.

Lately I have been doing a lot of sourcing out figuring out how everything is going to be laid out, what kind of lighting I want to use, how am I going to heat the office area in my shipping container. I want to keep everything pretty low power so my plan is to go with all LED lighting and a 400 Watt heater which should be
fine in my 90 square foot insulated office space. I plan to blast the shooting range with some propane heat on days when I need it for the shooting testing during the colder months.
I did pickup some hardwood flooring pretty cheap at Big Box Store and also got my 3x6 office window from Surrey New and Used. I already have metal doors that my father-in-law has had stashed away for several decades but at least now they are going to come in handy.
The first job or actual work I needed to do on the Shipping Container Project was to level and place the Sea Can onto some bricks/slabs, this also helps to keep the underside dry so it does not rust out. There shouldn't be much settling since the storage container is resting on my gravel parking area and the gravel goes right down about 1 foot deep to the hard pan.
Next on my list is starting the framing, figuring out exactly where the windows and doors will be and of course cutting the container to fit them.
This Vimeo video will be a little different than most, sorry no shooting and not even a single gun to show anywhere in this video! But it will lead to hopefully better shooting field test and table top videos down the road as I will have a dedicated space not only to work but to also shoot my review airguns.
Today, well actually yesterday a 40 foot shipping container (Sea Can) showed up at my house. This new metal box is going to be my airgun shooting range and office space combined. It will contain a 30 foot airgun shooting range closest to the rear doors so that I can open them and create a longer range if necessary. The front 10-12 feet of the container will be my work office space where. I will also use some of the container for storage.
Over the next few weeks I will be leveling the container, framing and insulating the office area, adding some electricity and lighting and of course completing some finishing work to the office space to make it more cozy. Eventually I hope to do some outside work giving the container some more curb appeal with a new coat of paint.
I plan to make more videos to share with everyone of the work progress as it happens so keep watching...
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG/KJWorks Beretta X9 Classic is very good in both single and double action. Double action is a bit longer and heavier than when shooting in single action since the hammer is being drawn back, but not overly heavy by any means. Single action shooting is short, light and crisp as you would expect when shooting a real steel Beretta 92 style pistol.
Accuracy: I have not done my actual Field Test Shooting video review for the ASG/KJWorks Beretta X9 Classic CO2 BB Pistol but I did get the chance to make a short preview video where I shot the Airsoft version of this M9 Beretta at some clay pigeons setup around 20 feet away. I was able to pop the center out of the clay pigeons no problem and found that even without any practice I was consistently hitting dead center on most shots. I am not sure exactly what the FPS will be btu it shoudl for sure get at least the claimed 312 fps if not a bit more.
Build Quality: As expected, the ASG X9 Classic Beretta M9 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol build quality is just like all the other KJWorks Airsoft guns I've tested so far. The ASG 4.5mm Steel BB shooting X9 Classic has more of a Matt finish but I kind of like it, not so many finger prints on the gun. All the tolerances between the moving parts like the slide and frame are very tight showing excellent workmanship and machining from KJWorks.
Realism: The ASG X9 Classic Beretta M9 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol is an excellent copy of the real steel popular Beretta M9, it is really hard to tell it apart from the real version and the ASG X9 Classic can even be field stripped in the same manor as a real Beretta M9 Semi Auto pistol with the similar functioning parts. The only missing aspect would be Beretta Licensing since the ASG version is unlicensed.
All metal design, fit and finish is very good as is with all KJWorks made guns.
Strong slide spring so should have nice heavy blowback action.
Realistic working safety and working slide catch and release.
Full size dropout metal magazine that holds steel BB's and CO2.
Can be field stripped like original Beretta M9.
KJWorks quality.
Cons:
Not licensed like the Umarex version.
None adjustable sights and white dot sights are kind of light.
Will eat up CO2 pretty quickly.
Comments:
There are very few 4.5mm Steel BB guns made by KJWorks and it seems that ASG as far as I know is the only distributer that has teamed up with KJWork to have them make some of their guns, I reviewed the ASG CZ 75 which is another ASG/KJWorks distributer 4.5mm CO2 Blowback Pistol. I don't even think you can get the 4.5mm Steel BB shooting version direct from KJWork? What I love most of all about the ASG X9 Classic Beretta M9 CO2 Blowback 4.5mm BB Pistol is that it is made by KJWorks since there are already a lot of Beretta M9's and Mod. 92's already out there but if I could only have one it would probably be the ASG X9 Classsic!

Last but now least to show you in this update video is the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1. This product was developed by ASG in cooperation with CZ and is made to give the Airsoft Player the closest shooting experience they can possibly get to handling and shooting a real CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1!
Action: Bolt-action single shot, single action only.
Ammunition Type: .22 caliber pellets.
Ammunition Capacity: 1 round.
FPS: 460.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is non-adjustable but is short and fairly light with virtually no creep at all, it's just right there! The Crosman American Classic P1322 will allow for very accurate shot placement with only a little trigger time required to get use to the release tension required.
Accuracy: I found my Original Crosman 1377 (The .177 caliber version of this airgun) to be an amazing target pistol, getting about a 1/2 inch grouping from 30 feet out in a semi-rested position. And I even performed my accuracy test twice with the same result each time. In terms of fps performance, the Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is not required to be detuned for Canada importation so we should see very close to 460 fps even using heavier grain lead pellets! Build Quality: The Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is not a fancy looking airgun but it gets the job done with a mostly all metal design and build. Remember this Croman configuration has been around since 1977 so about 40 years and has pretty much stayed the same so Crosman must be doing something right with the American Classic series if it has stood the test of time with very few changes to its design other than some cosmetics ones.
Realism: The Crosman P1322 American Classic Air Pistol is not a replica of any gun out there. The P1322 is made as a target airgun, so it looks like a target air pistol and is not expected to resemble a tradition real steel pistol of any sort.
Pros:
Fairly inexpensive target pistol (under $100 Canadian - $79 US)
Know to be very accurate.
Ability to regulate power with the amount of pumps.
Mostly all metal construction.
Rifled steel barrel.
Adjustable rear sight.
Light single action trigger.
Would be good for small close shot pest control because of good FPS and good accuracy for shot placement ability.
Lots of mods and upgrades available for this series of Crosman Airguns.
Cons:
The trigger is a bit thin (Can be upgraded).
Rear sight is adjustable but is hard to setup.
All black sights are hard to aim on darker targets.
Pumping is fairly firm and will take some time for max 10 pump power.
Comments:
The Crosman American Classic P1322 22 Caliber Pellet Pistol is a bit of a sleeper target pistol. It has been around for a long time and for this reason can be overlooked. It also is a super flashy looking airgun that requires a bit of manual pumping to get to maximum power. There is also the kind of finicky sight setup required to get this air pistol to shoot on target. If you can put all that aside you have yourself a super accurate and rather powerful little target or even small pest control airgun for a lot less money than some other pellet target pistols out there. And to be honest I would trade having to pump this gun up over a springer for the main reason that the recoil is so much less violent on a pump gun allowing for better accuracy at the end of the day. When you factor in all the mods that are available for this line of Crosman Airguns the sky is the limit allowing for a ton of customization in performance and looks.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is good in both single and double action. Double action mode has the longer heavier pull but is still smooth and not too heavy with a predictable release. Single action shooting has a much shorter trigger pull with a slight take-up and even lighter release than in double action mode.
Accuracy: I have not completed my shooting Field Test specifically for this Corsman branded KWC Taurus PT-92 but I have shot enough of them to know that it should get about a 2 inch 10 shot grouping from 30 feet away in semi auto mode of course. And I expect it to get around 330-340 fps on the Chrono. We will have to wait and see the final results when I get to my performance review.
Build Quality: Like all the KWC full blowback CO2 Airguns, the Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol has an overall good build and the design has been out long enough to get any of the bugs worked out by KWC. The fit is good and almost the entire gun is metal so it has great weight to it. Finish wise the electromagnetic coating can wear off in the high spots over time but this is true with real steel blued guns too.
Realism: Again like the full line of KWC full blowback Pistols, the Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is an amazing replica and looks and functions the part of a real Taurus PT-92 in almost every way including being able to be fully field stripped. You will also find metal working parts in the same places you would find them on the real steal version.
Has been on the market for a while so all bugs worked out now.
Accurate replica of the Taurus PT-92.
Cons:
Has the ugly white warning instruction on the slide.
Only single white dot on rear sight, would have liked them front and back.
Expect to use up CO2 very quickly as is with all KWC full blowback airguns.
Comments:
The Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol isn't anything we haven't already seen from KWC and other Airgun distributers re-branding this same KWC made gun. I do like that the Crosman version is full auto ready out of the box and about their claims of up to 400 fps? Well we will have to see about that as it seems optimist to me based on my other Field Test Shooting Reviews I have done with virtually the same KWC Airguns.

First off, I want to thank Crosman for providing these two guns for review! Now they're not exactly new guns by any means but for sure worth showing and doing some update reviews for.
Starting with the Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92:
The Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92 is essential a KWC made M92 also branded as the same gun as the Cybergun GSG 92 and the Swiss Arms P92.
So for all intense and purposes if you have watched any of my other revise on this line of KWC Beretta /Taurus BB pistols and even Airsoft versions then this BB gun should be really familiar to you.
History of the Taurus PT-92:
It is often referred to as a Berate 92 copy but in fact it is a Taurus PT-92 replica. The Taurus PT-92 is a product of Brazil, Taurus actually bought the entire Brazilian Beretta factory back in 1980 including drawings, tooling, machinery, and a very experienced work force to make the guns. Taurusimmediately sought to improve on the Beretta design, resulting in the popular and acclaimed Taurus PT-92.
Specifications for the Crosman PFAM98 Taurus PT-92:
Crosman use to make a similar version of the Crosman American Classic P1322 called the Back Packer which had a slightly longer barrel and came with a removable stock. You can kind of replicate this gun by adding the stock but it will have a shorter barrel. Keep in mind there are a ton of mods available for this series of Crosman airguns including barrels, bolts, trigger, Internals stocks, scope mounts…

I've already done Table Top Video Review for both the ASG CZ Scorpion VZ61 and the ASG B&T BT5 AEG 6mm Airsoft Guns so make sure to checkout both those videos.
What I hav not done so far is make a Filed Test Shooting video for either gun since this winter has been rather brutal here in BC Canada. Today I did manage to get outside and put some rounds through both the ASG CZ Scorpion VZ61 and the ASG B&T BT5 AEG 6mm Airsoft Guns so at least I can report back to everyone on how they performed for me. Sorry still no actual shooting video as my outside time was kind of limited due to it still being cold, we are even expecting some more snow tonight and over the next few days and it's March!
Getting back to my preliminary shooting testing, the ASG CZ Scorpion VZ61 only shot a slight bit higher then 250 but it was the more accurate of the two AEG Airsoft Guns getting close to a 1 inch 10 shot grouping using my standard 30 foot back semi rested shooting position. It did shoot a bit low but perhaps a hop-up adjustment should fix that problem.
Next up I tested out the ASG B&T BT5 MP5 PDW Replica and it did have a little more power hitting closer to 300 fps but it was not as accurate as the CZ shooting a bit high and to the left with most shots within about 1.5 inches, still pretty decent from 30 feet back.
Overall both AEG Airsoft Guns where fun to shoot and when I did let them lose to shoot in full auto mode they performed as expected laying down a stream of Airsoft BB's till the mags where empty :)

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol is what you would expect form an AEG pistol as it is basically an on/off switch. Since the RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol is full auto only it is not easy to shoot a single shot, it can be done with a very short trigger pull but even then you get the occasional multiple shot. The RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol like the real steel original version is full auto only and that's what makes it so fun!
Accuracy: I did get a chance to take the RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol outside and put some rounds through my Chronograph and down range at a paper target. I averaged just under 340 fps using .20 gram 6mm Airsoft BB's which is about perfect for this compact machine pistol. I also placed about 10 rounds down range 30 feet back using my standard semi rested shooting position while trying to shoot in semi auto and got a pretty decent 1.5 to 2 inch grouping that was a little high but well centered left to right. Elevation could be adjusted using the hop-up.
Build Quality: The RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol is really one of the best made Airsoft guns I have seen in a while, all the metal parst are going to be real steel or aluminum, not your standard zinc alloy found in most airguns these days. The full upper is stamped steel along with the 90 round magazines, the lower is plastic with a few aluminum parts here and there. The fit and finish is also excellent!
Realism: The RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol is a replica of the Swedish made Interdynamic KG9 Open Bolt SMP, not the ntratec Tec-9 which was the American version of the KG9. For the most part the RWA Airsoft version is exact with the exception of the barrel shroud being slightly longer to accommodate the 7.4v LiPo batteries.
Pros:

Very high quality build with a solid weight and excellent fit and finish.
Fairly high rate full auto fire.
Comes with battery and two magazines.
Has almost perfect usable working rate of fire averaging around 340 fps with decent overall accuracy.

Fully Licensed.
Cons:
No blowback but there is some recoil feel from the heavy spring action.
No semi auto mode, full auto only.
Sights are not adjustable, can only use hop-up to adjust elevation.
Limited on battery choices.

The RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol is a really cool looking Airsoft gun, it is a bit larger than most hand guns but could still be used like one since it does not have a stock and can be used for similar shooting situations. The advantage is you have 90 rounds of full auto ammo at your disposal in a size format that is super compact and easy to manoeuvre. You also get some pretty decent power for longer range shooting and the accuracy out of the box at a variety of ranges is also really good. You could even use the RWA KG-9 AEG Airsoft Machine Pistol easily as a primary or even kick ass backup gun as it is super versatile.
