ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Non-blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by ASG.
Model: Cobray Ingram M11
Materials: Mostly plastic, some metal.
Weight: 1.2 pounds (544 grams).
Total Length: 10.25/18 inches (260/457mm).
Barrel: 5.25 inches (133mm) metal rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto non-blowback, DOA trigger.
Ammunition Type: .4.5mm steel BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 39 round drop out plastic magazine.
FPS: Claimed 394.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol is exactly what you would expect from a NBB CO2 BB double action trigger. It is on the longer and slightly heavier side as your finger is required to do all the work, rather than the blowback action at least cocking the hammer back for you. Getting through the 39 rounds quickly will be a chore for sure, but by the time you reload it again with another 39 rounds your finger should be rested enough!

Accuracy: My dedicated field test shooting video is planned for next week so for now I have no idea what to expect in terms of velocity and accuracy from the ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol other than it should shoot around 400 fps as claimed by ASG. The rather open rear peep sight is on the larger side since the sight sits so close to your face so as long as I can find the center point I should be able to get a decent result from the ASG Cobray Ingram M11. We will find out soon enough so stay posted for that shooting video review.

Build Quality: The ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol is not a poorly made Airgun by no means, just don’t expect a lot of metal as the only metal parts are going to be the stock, the inner barrel, and some other internal metal parts. Everything else is plastic but it works just fine. I do have to say the metal wire stock is really well built and is the best part of this Airgun for sure. It is as good or similar in quality to what you would find on the real steel version.

Realism: The ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol is a 1 to 1 replica of a standard MAC11 and it looks just like one at a glance and perhaps even a bit closer up but as soon as you hold it you will feel how light it is at around 1.2 pounds. There are also very few working parts as many are moulded into the upper and lower receiver. The trigger, magazine release, stock button and safety switch however are all functional which is kind of necessary. The reassessed barrel, adjustable wire rear stock and full size drop out magazine do help add to the realism.

Pros:

  • Double action trigger is a bit long but not super heavy, it will make you work for action styled shooting.

  • Fit and finish looks good.

  • In terms of realism it does look legitimate even though it is very light weight to hold.

  • High capacity magazine for lots of shots between reloading.

  • Metal stock is the best part of this pistol, very well made.

  • Peep sight in back is ideal for quick targets acquisition.

  • Can kind of field trip but be careful of the safety, must remove first.

  • Recessed barrel for added realism.

  • Full size magazine holds the CO2 and BB’s.

  • Cobray licensing looks good on this gun, no ugly white warning print.

Cons:

  • Some more metal and weight would have been nice.

  • Peep sight in the back seems too large as it is so close to your face.

  • Not a lot of working parts other than the trigger, safety, stock adjustment and magazine release.

Comments:

In terms of 4.5mm BB Airguns out there, I am pretty sure there are no other MAC11 type on the market? So at least ASG has brought us an option to add something like this to for our Airgun collection. I just wish that like the Mini UZI, we had a blowback option with more metal as this is really the more desired choice we are looking for, at least of many of us. The ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol isn’t going to be all that expensive and offers some fun plinking with decent looks, hopefully a company steps up to the table and makes us a blowback metal version down the road, but for now we at least have the ASG Cobray Ingram M11 NBB CO2 BB Machine Pistol.

KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol Field Test Review

Almost a year or so ago I made my Table Top Review Video for both the 6mm Airsoft and 4.5mm Steel BB shooting KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 Pistols, and no they are not machine pistols since they only shoot in semi auto mode. Well anyway, I finally got around to testing these low cost Mac 11 replicas out shooting them through my Chrony Chronograph to find out their real world fps velocity along with my standard 30 foot back semi rested paper target accuracy test. Both CO2 Replica Pistols performed rather well for me and turned out to be both powerful and accurate.

In terms of power, KWC claims 120 meters per second or 394 feet per second for the 4.5mm Steel BB KWC M11 while the 6mm Airsoft Mac 11 had a claimed fps of 152 mps or 499 fps. During my testing both guns actually shot much faster than claimed with the steel BB M11 shooting 5.1 grain steel 4.5mm BB's at an average of 453 fps. The Airsoft KWC Mac 11 with its lighter .20 gram 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's averaged a very hot 556 fps which is probably going to be too hot for most Airsoft fields but a lot of fun shooting in your back yard!

Both the Steel BB and Plastic Airsoft BB KWC M11's have an internal fixed hop-up system which did seem to help out a lot with accuracy. From my semi rested shooting position with paper targets setup 30 feet away, I was able to get well centered 1-5 to 2 inch groupings from both versions of the KWC Mac 11 CO2 Pistols. The Airsoft KWC M11 did shoot a little high and to the right but not a lot while the Steel BB M11 was centered well left to right but again just a little high.

Both KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 Pistols shoot in double action and have what I would consider to be about medium pull triggers since there are not a lot of moving parts or any type of blowback operation. This means they will be more CO2 efficient and likely to have very few problems since they are very simple in design. If you want a great performing low cost and simple in design Mac 11 Replica then take your pick, 4.5mm Steel BB KWC M11 or 6mm Plastic Airsoft KWC M11!

Mike's Personal Guns for Sale - Airsoft Pistols

Some more of my Personal airgun pistols for sale! I am showcasing here on the Replica Airguns website and over on the Replica Airguns YouTube channel a series of videos I am making for the purpose of selling some guns out of my personal collection. I simply have to make room for the new guns I will be testing and reviewing for everyone, my collection has gotten a little bit out of hand and needs to be thinned down a bit :)

In this 6th Mike's Personal Guns For Sale video, I am offering three of my Airsoft pistols, the super popular Dan Wesson 6 Inch Silver in pretty much brand new condition complete with the box, manual, speed loader and shells. I also have tow rather hard to get Airsoft guns that are in somewhat limited working condition and need a little TLC. But the simple fact that they are not easily obtained here in Canada does bring up their value a little bit.

Make sure to watch my above YouTube video to see these Airsoft Pistols I am selling and instructions on how you can take part in the sale and purchase of them. By the way I am only selling to Canadian residents since shipping cross borders is a little sketchy.

Here is a list of the Airsoft Pistols I am selling from my personal gun collection:

ASG Dan Wesson 6 Inch Silver Airsoft Revolver - $145

Tokyo Marui GBB Desert Eagle .50AE Airsoft Pistol - $150

KSC M11A1 GBB Airsoft Machine Pistol - $150

KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type:BB - Airsoft pistol.

Manufacturer: KWC.

Model: Mac11 M11.

Materials: Mostly ABS (Plastic).

Weight: 1.2 pounds (531 Grams).

Barrel: Smooth bore with fixed hop-up.

Propulsion: CO2 x 1.

Action: Semi auto, double action only.

Ammunition Type:4.5mm steel BB's - 6mm plastic Airsoft.

Ammunition Capacity:BB 39 rounds - Airsoft 26 rounds.

FPS:BB 394 fps/ 120 m/s - Airsoft: 499 fps/ 152 m/s.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC Mac 11 M11 is double action only and is rather long and a bit firm so you will get a bit of a finger workout especially when shooting a full 39 rounds from the 4.5mm steel BB version. There is no blowback operation so this is a double action only pistol.

Accuracy: The accuracy and true feet per second performance will be tested when I do my future Field Test Shooting Review shortly (weather permitting).

Build Quality: Overall the KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol is built fairly well as long as you don't mind the all plastic build. to be honest if you where to drop this all plastic pistol on the ground it would most likely just bounce a couple of times no worse for wear since it is kind of light weight and all. If it was an almost all metal build it would weigh in a lot more and the drop onto a hard surface could easily break the zinc alloy metal parts. That said there is some metal on the KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol and that would be the folding - sliding stock and of course some internal parts. The rear fold out portion of the stock is actually hardened steel!

Realism: As a replica of a real steel Mac 11 M11, the KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol looks bang on since it is 1 to 1 scale and at least in terms of looks is virtually identical ot teh real Mac 11. In terms of function, that is a different story since the KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol does not have many working parts other than the trigger, safety and magazine release. The selector switch, bolt charging handle and bolt are all molded into this gun and their only purpose is to look good! The overall weight is rather light too since most of this Mac 11 pistol is ABS or plastic.

Pros:

  • First 4.5mm Steel BB Mac 11.

  • 1/1 scale replica definitely looks the part.

  • Full size drop out magazine that holds the CO2 and BB’s.

  • High capacity 39 rounds magazine.

  • Built in metal and steel retractable stock.

  • Decent fps.

  • Available in both 4.5mm Steel BB and 6mm Plastic Airsoft versions.

Cons:

  • Pretty much all ABS, kind of light weight.

  • No blowback or many working parts.

  • Kind of long and heavy trigger.

  • Pretty much everything is moulded into this gun.

Comments:

Too be honest when I first saw the box for the KWC Mac 11 M11 CO2 BB - Airsoft Pistol I was a bit excited, that was until I opened it up and found out I was looking at a pretty much all plastic gun with few working parts and no blowback operation. But after holding it and giving this air pistol a good look over I have to say I am warming up to it a bit more now. After all it is the first Mac 11 M11 4.5mm steel BB pistol that I know of and it 100% looks the part so if you are looking for a replica Mac 11 then this will fill that purpose for sure. Even though it is almost all ABS plastic, this airgun feels solid seems to be really well made. The steel and metal stock is a nice addition and so would have been a metal magazine but overall for a low cost replica BB and Airsoft shooter you do get your moneys worth.
