ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle Table Top Review

Type: BB Rifle.
Manufacturer: ASG.
Model: TAC 4.5.
Materials: Plastic with some internal metal parts.
Weight: 3.5 pounds (1588 grams).
Barrel: 12 inches, metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: 12 gram CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto, double action only.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 21 round metal stick magazine.
FPS: 417.

Trigger Pull: The double action only type trigger pull on the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is not too heavy but it is rather long so really quick rapped fire shooting will require some finger work. The trigger reset is right at the begging of the pull so you need to make sure you allow the trigger full range of motion or you may miss the odd shot.

Accuracy: I haven't done my Field Test Shooting video just yet for the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle but hope to do it soon so stay posted for that video. ASG claimed the fps to be right around 417 but I have a feeling it shoudl come in a little bit higher than this since there is no blowback and the barrel is close to 12 inches long, With the fiber optic front sight and fully adjustable rear peep sight I shoudl be able to get some decent rounds on target downrange and hopefully get a nice grouping.

Build Quality: The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is mostly plastic but feels pretty good in the hand with decent fit and finish. There are some metal internal part along with the outer barrel but for the most part the ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is all plastic including the trigger and front and rear sights.

Realism: The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is not a replica of any modern rifle that I know of but it does look a bit like a Beretta CX4 Storm especially the back half of it. The flash hider and top and bottom raise add to the realism.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Very customizable with rails top and bottom.

  • Comes with a rather nice Bipod.

  • Front and back Iron sights are very usable.

  • Safety switch is in a great location for right handed shooters.

  • Integrated laser add on is a nice touch.

  • Solid construction.

  • Rubber Butt Pad is nice and thick.

  • Removable barrel to reduce size for easier transportation.

  • Also come in Airsoft version.

Cons:

  • DOA Trigger pull is a bit long which will slow down rapid fire shooting a bit.

  • Mostly Plastic Polymer build.

  • Why not a longer inner barrel for possible more fps?

Comments:
It's nice when a new action shooting air rifle comes out on the market since there are not a ton of them. The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle is a nice addition if you're looking for a BB shooter for plinking around the yard. You can also get an Airsoft firing version too called the ASG TAC 6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle if you want to shoot some rounds that are a little bit less destructive and more game friendly. The ASG TAC 4.5 CO2 Air Rifle offers a lot of customizability with its top and bottom rails for accessories which allow for the placement of the included removable iron sights and Bipod. I would recommend adding a red dot sight and perhaps even a tac light to really dec out this modern looking air rifle.

ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle Unboxing Video

I don't generally make unboxing videos, usually I'll make a preview video if I want to get the word out that I have a new product for review but I thought I would change things up a bit with the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle Unboxing Video. There are actually two version of this rifle, the TAC-4.5 and the TAC-6. The ASG TAC-6 CO2 Air Rifle is the Airsoft equivalent, pretty much identical to the TAC-4.5 with the acceptation of shooting 6mm Plastic Airsoft BB's.

Getting back to the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle, it uses a standard 12 gram CO2 cartridges to shoot 4.5mm Steel BB's at around 417 fps. The BB's are stored in its 21 round metal stick magazine similar to what you would find in many standard BB pistols. I'm pretty sure this rifle is actually internally a pistol of sorts and even the barrel internally is short like a pistol. The external longer barrel that you see is mainly for show to give the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle its rifle appearance. The TAC outer shell is made of synthetic plastic keeping the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle fairly light at around 3.5 pounds.

You will find Weaver/Picatinny rails top and bottom with removable fiber optic iron sights and a removable Bipod with adjustable legs. The rear stock has a rubber Buttplate for added comfort. I found it interesting that the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle has an area right at the front in the stock for an optional laser sight.

Look forward to a more detailed Table Top and Field Test Shooting Video coming out shortly for the ASG TAC-4.5 CO2 Air Rifle.

KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

I'm trying to remember if I have ever reviewed a Gas Operated Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle before or not? I know I have reviewed Spring Operated Bolt Action Airsoft Rifles but I think this is a first for me. With Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifles there is some work involved in the back and forth movement of the bolt since the power is coming from the spring tension, compared to a Gas Bolt Action Airsoft system there is virtually no resistance in the bolt so you can get off your follow up shots a lot quicker.

I would like to get out and test the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle at a much longer distance than here in my Indoor Sea Can Airgun Range but the weather outside right now is kind of cold and wet. Perhaps in the summer I can do a revisit of the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle and test it out at a much longer range using heavier Airsoft BB's.

For this indoor short range testing I used .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's and placing 5 shots through my Chrony Chronograph I got a an average of 382 fps. The gas magazine was fully topped up using propane gas and the temperate was around 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit).

Again using .20 gram Plastic Airsoft BB's I then performed my close range accuracy test (about 30 feet away) and the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle shot about a 1.5 inch grouping with one outlier that went kind of low, perhaps a bad Airsoft BB? With most sniper style Airsoft rifles you will want to use heavier gram Airsoft BB's which should help with accuracy so I would expect the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle to tighten up a bit using a .30 or higher gram BB.

I was surprised at how quiet the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle was and didn't mind the peep sights after some getting use to. I would recommend adding a 3 power or higher scope to the included scope mount. Throw a Bipod on the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle and you have yourself a nice sniper rifle setup indeed.

Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol Field Test Review

If you haven't already, make sure to watch my Table top Video Review for the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol to see it up close and get all the details and specifications on this fine Airsoft pistol.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I put the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol through its paces to see what the fps velocity is and what kind of accuracy grouping we can get. Starting with power, I shot 5 rounds of .20 grain plastic Airsoft BB's through my Chrony Chronograph and average 410 fps, that's pretty fast for a blowback Airsoft pistol!

Next up was the accuracy portion of this shooting review and as I alway do here in my indoor Sea Can Shooting Range, I setup a paper target 30 feet away and shot from a seated stabilized position. I did find the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol shot a bit high for me right out of the box without any hop-up adjustments. In terms of accuracy the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol did not perform as well as I would have liked it to, perhaps a different ammo choice and or playing around with the hop-up may have helped but either way I got around a 7 inch 10 shot grouping. This is perfectly fine for close quarter combat but if you plan on hitting anything far away, the Airsoft BB is fast enough to get there but sniper accuracy is not going to happen.

Overall the Cybergun Taurus PT24/7 G2 Airsoft Pistol feels great to shoot, it has a really nice trigger and solid blowback action. Perhaps with a little bit of playing around with this quality Airsoft pistol I could get it to tighten up its grouping a little bit?

Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol Field Test Review

Hopefully we are back in business after the YouTube Attack on Airgun channels. I'm still waiting for YouTube to get back to me on the video that they put a strike on. I did appeal the Strike but so far YouTube has not responded...

We must push forward and so here is my first video back and it's a good one! If you haven't already watched my Table Top Review of the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol, make sure to check it out for details and some nice up and close video of this fine dual ammo CO2 air pistol.

As always during my indoor Sea Can Field Test Shooting videos, I first test out the velocity of each gun. Since the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol can shoot both 4.5mm Steel BB's and .177 caliber pellets I tested both ammo types using my Chrony Chronograph. I fired three shots of each ammo to get an average fps velocity. Interestingly the heavier 6.9 grain lead pellets had the higher average velocity of 376 fps versus 304 fps with 5.1 grain Steel BB's. I have a feeling the lead pellets fit the barrel more snug and did not let any of the CO2 blow by creating more back pressure and a higher velocity.

After my velocity test I proceeded to find out which ammo type was going to be more accurate with the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol. Since each rotary magazine holds 8 rounds it made sense for me to put 8 shots of each ammo type into the paper target setup 30 feet away. Keep in mind the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has a riffled barrel best suited for lead pellets so going into this test I was expecting the pellets to be the clear winner here.

I was able to get about a 2 inch 8 shot grouping using .177 caliber lead pellets with the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol. All shots where fairly well centered but I did notice that most shots actually hit all within a very tight 1/2 inch group with 3 shots coming out a bit and extending the grouping more or less vertically. Switching up the ammo to steel BB's and as expected the groupings extended to about 3 inches with one outlier hitting very wide for some reason? Even with the steel BB's shot placement on the target was well centered in general.

The blowback on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is very pronounced but does not rock your hands too much keeping this airgun on target between shots and the trigger is one of the best rotary mag type trigger I have tested to date, extremely smooth throughout the entire trigger pull. Overall the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has great looks, decent power and good accuracy going for it and could perhaps be one of my top pics if you're looking for a blowback pellet pistol option.

YouTube Attack on Airgun Channels?

This video is to explain why the Replica Airguns YouTube channel doesn't have any videos listed.

The removal or privatization of Replica Airguns YouTube videos was done as a precaution to make sure YouTube does not terminate the Replica Airguns YouTube Channel due to the recent attack on Airgun YouTube Channels. YouTube has been handing out strikes to videos that have led to many popular Airgun related YouTube channels being terminated this past week.

Replica Airguns did receive one of these strikes to a blank gun video I made several years back. The video in question simply shows me testing a blank gun by shooting it in my pool house. YouTube claims that the video in question contained illegal behavior or could potentially elicit illegal behavior from viewers? I guess all the other thousands of people shooting blank guns on YouTube is OK but this video for some reason was not OK?

I am not sure where this is all going and what will happen with Airgun channels and Airgun videos on YouTube but I will keep you posted as I find out...

YouTube Targeting Airgun Channels

YouTube Strike.png

**ALL REPLICA AIRGUN VIDEOS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY MADE PRIVATE AS A PRECAUTION DUE TO YOUTUBE'S RECENT TERMINATION OF SEVERAL HIGH PROFILE AIRGUN RELATED CHANNELS**

This situation is very new and so I don't know what to expect at this time but I do know that if the videos are private then they can not have a strike against them. I already received one strike against a video because of this new YouTube targeting policy. If I get two more strikes the Replica Airguns channel will be terminated and I do not want to risk this. I will keep everyone posted.

John Wayne Lil Duke Giveaway Announcement and Comparison

First off I want to announce this years First Giveaway, as promised I have a couple of John Wayne Lil Duke Lever Action BB Rifles to give back to our Replica Airguns viewers and customers. To take part in this Giveaway you do not have to be a previous customer, checkout the Giveaway entry at the bottom of this post for detail about this Giveaway and how you can get involved.

Not only do I announce this awesome John Wayne Lil Duke Giveaway in this video but I also do a head to head comparison of the John Wayne Lil Duke Lever Action BB Rifle and compare it to the Crosman Marline Cowboy and classic Red Ryder BB Rifle.

As per my usual Indoor Sea Can Field Test Shooting Videos, I test out all of these spring powered BB rifles shooting them through my Chrony Chronograph to find out their real world feet per second velocity and then I place several shots on a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to determine how accurate each Lever action spring powered BB rifle is. I'm not going to share these result in this post so you're going to just have to watch my YouTube video to find out for yourself :)

Pocket Shot Slingshot Table Top Review

This is not a BB Gun Review or an Airsoft Gun review or a Pellet Gun review or a Blank Gun review or even an Accessory review? Heck it's not even a Nerf Gun review and I have even done that on this channel :)

What we have here is my first ever Sling Shot based review and even that is not the best description for the Pocket Shot but it's about as close as I can get and really the only product I can compare to the Pocket Shot is a Slingshot. Spoiler alert I think the Pocket Shot kicks but on most traditional Slingshot designs.

I did want to thank the team over at Pocket Shot for supplying me with their Pocket Shot and Pocket Hammer Grip for review, hopefully we can even bring this updated Slingshot design to our Replica Airguns Online Store.

What makes the Pocket Shot different than a standard Slingshot. Mainly the Pocket Shot utilizes a rubber stretchy cup or pouch rather than standard rubber tubes used on Slingshots. The benefit to the Power Shot design is that it is way more compact and much easier and quicker to load since you simply drop your ammo into the cup, pull back and release. So no having to place your ammo into a small pouch with each shot. The Pocket Shot is also more powerful than most Slingshots on the market, you can expect to get up to 350 fps using a Pocket Shot as compared to apron 200 fps from a Slingshot.

Pocket Shot also sent me out there Pocket Hammer Handle that allows the regular Pocket Shot to convert into a more traditional Slingshot grip system. This setup adds a little bit more bulk to the Pocket Shot but allows for a much easier draw.

Another huge advantage to the Pocket Shot is the ability to even shoot arrows by simply adding on their Whisker Biscuit Cap. Make sure to checkout the Pocket Shot website for more info and of course watch my Table Top Review for the Pocket Shot Slingshot. I will be making a Shooting video in the near future.

Wow! 100,000 Subscribers, and that was almost two years ago now. It took a while for YouTube to send me out my One Hundred Thousand Subscriber Silver Creator Award but they did come through in the end :)

The Replica Airguns YouTube Channel is now at around 200,000 subscribers and growing, not sure when the next YouTube Milestone award happens? Perhaps at One Million Subscribers? That may take a while...

It has taken a lot of hard work and this all goes back to around 12 years ago when I uploaded my first Youtube Video "Worlds Smallest Full Auto BB Gun" and discovered that people are really interested in airguns. Skip ahead to today and the Replica Airguns YouTube Channel has uploaded almost 800 videos with close to 100,000,00 video views! I figured the best way for everyone to get an idea of what it's like to be at SHOT Show was to walk around and record some video using my Samsung Gear 360 Video Camera for you.

The first few minutes are just me walking around checking things out at this years SHOT Show 2018 in Las Vegas. After which I walk around of some of the more popular Airgun related booths: Crosman, Sig Sauer, ASG and Umarex.

If you're not able to attend SHOT Show yourself, then I hope this 360 video gives you a good idea of what it's like to be there yourself :)

SHOT Show 2018 ASG Interview

ASG+Logo+White.jpg

This year at SHOT Show 2018 I had the please to interview Bob from ASG yet again, Bob always has a ton of info to share about ASG new products so make sure to watch this video as it has a lot of info!

To summarize what Bob shared, ASG has their line of CZ P-09 and SP-01 Shadow Steel BB and Airsoft Full Blowback pistols with full size drop out metal magazines. And you'll be happy to know the Canadian CZ P-09 Airsoft version not only will have a threaded barrel but it will come with both a black and red barrel tip cover.

Another new air pistol from ASG is the Dan Wesson licensed none blowback pellet firing 1911, similar to what Crosman is offering that utilizes a full size drop out metal magazine combined with a two sided 6 shot rotary magazine that flips 180 degrees for a total of 12 shots per .177  caliber pellet load. the ASG Dan Wesson Pellet shooting 1911 has a nice heavy weight to it's metal slide and frame design.

Lastly Bob shared with us a new ASG ICS Hera Arms CQR Airsoft Rifle, this ASG Airsoft Rifle is still in the design and production state but look forward to it later on this year!

SHOT Show 2018 Sig Sauer Interview

Sig Sauer Logo Black.jpg

This year at SHOT Show 2018 I had the please of again interviewing Dani Navickas from Sig Sauer. Dani Showed me several new pistols and a new break barrel rifle Sig Sauer is offering this year. The Sig ASP20 Break Barrel rifle will come in both .177 and .22 caliber pellet shooting versions. The ASP20 has a lighter than most cocking effort of only 33 pounds using their proprietary GlideLite system, along with an adjustable ASP MatchLite trigger.

Another Target pellet airgun from Sig Sauer this year is the .177 caliber pellet shooting Super Target, styled after the Sig Sauer P210 firearm. The Sig Super Target is a single pump pneumatic single shot pistol designed for 10 meeter shooting with adjustable sights and a crips short light trigger.

Sig like several other companies has rebranded their own version of the KWC 1911 CO2 Blowback BB pistols. The Sig Sauer licensed BB 1911 is based on Sigs We the People line to celebrate the American people and their Constitution.

Another new Blowback Pellet firing Sig Sauer Air Pistol was also introduced at SHOT Show, the Sig Sauer X-Five. The X-Five uses their 20 round belt fed magazine and also has Sig's Cam Lever CO2 loading mechanism. You will also find a rear adjustable sight on the Sig Sauer X-Five Pellet Pistol.

Last but not least and perhaps one of the most interesting new products coming out later this year from Sig Sauer is the P320MHS APS which is another new rotary magazine Blowback Pellet Pistol. What's a bit different with the new Sig P320MHS is that it has a full size drop out magazine that holds the CO2 and belt fed pellet magazine. The P320MHS can also be fully field striped, has an open ejection port and is styled after Sig's real Steal M17 firearm.

SHOT Show 2018 Umarex Interview

Umarex presented at SHOT Show this year a license I think we all thought was never going to happen! That would be Glock, for years Glock has been steadfast about not allowing their handguns to be licensed by anyone other than them. Glock has been very protective about their brand and intellectual properties as they are entitled to. I'm not sure what Umarex said to Glock but somehow they where able to get Glock to agree to letting Umarex license Glock pistols to be made into BB and Airsoft versions. The first BB and Airsoft models I was able to checkout at this years SHOT Show are pretty basic in design and are styled after the Glock 19.

The new Umarex Glock 19 licensed BB and Airsoft pistols are CO2 powered as expected but don't have blowback operation and have a fixed metal slide and a drop out stick magazine. The new Glock Licensed Umarex pistols do however look and feel really good, picking them up you would think you are holding a real steel Glock until you try and rack the slide or drop the magazine. Umarex did indicate there will be more licensed models coming out down the road with full blowback operation and full size drop out metal magazines, we just need to be patient as Glock is very particular about the quality control.

Another show stopper for me at the Umarex Booth was the Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle. I love shooting my Red Ryder BB Rifle but I have to admit the Red Ryder kind of looks a bit like a kids beginner airgun. The new Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle look, feels and operates like the real deal so it's not only going to be super fun to shoot but an awesome replica to own especially if your into the old west guns.

The Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle uses two 12 gram CO2 cartridges and can hold 10 BB loaded shells in its tube styled magazine, working the lever action elects the empty shells. Umarex claims around 410 fps so the Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action Shell loading BB Rifle will be Canada legal without the need for a PAL. I thought the stock was real wood but was correct, it's actually made out of plastic, but I think just about anyone looking close up would have a hard time believing Umarex didn't use real wood.

Thanks to Mark Davis from Umarex for making himself available to interview!

SHOT Show 2018 Crosman Interview

I wanted to start my SHOT Show 2018 Interviews with Crosman because in my books they had one of the most exciting new products this year at SHOT Show, the Crosman Remington DPMS SBR which is a duel 12 gram CO2 powered 4.5mm steel BB firing AR styled semi and full auto Machine gun.

What I like about the Crosman Remington DPMS SBR is that it works a lot like an Airsoft Gas Blowback rifle with an internal bolt and buffer tube spring, working charging handle and dust cover, it even has a bolt release button. The Crosman Remington DPMS SBR can even be taken apart similarly to a real AR rifle.

The next new interesting product from Crosman, and as I found out the design is not entirely exclusive to Crosman, was the CO2 Non-Blowback Pellet firing 1911. The Crosman Pellet 1911 has an interesting magazine design, it looks like a traditional full size drop out magazine, which as you would expect holds the CO2 but rather than an inline BB magazine the new Crosman Pellet firing 1911 has two built in 6 shot rotary magazines that can be flipped so you essentially end up with a 12 shot magazine.

You will have to drop the full size magazine after the first 6 shots to flip the rotary magazines. The Crosman Pellet 1911 does not have blowback action but the double action only trigger is smooth and not too heavy. The slide is metal with a metal magazine and a polymer frame. The Crosman Pellet shooting 1911 comes in silver and black.

The next new product from Crosman was the Mako. The Crosman Mako is a Beretta styled CO2 Blowback BB pistol. The Crosman Mako features Blowback action, fiber optic sights, tactical grips, a double action trigger and a stick magazine that holds the 4.5mm steel BB's.

Thanks to Phillip Guadalupe from Crosman for allowing me the Interview!

SHOT Show 2018 Las Vegas Teaser Video

So it begins, I have been to this years SHOT Show in Las Vegas and checked out the new products from Umarex, Crosman, Sig Sauer and ASG. I have taken video and Interviewed the main Airgun companies. Now it's time to report back to everyone what I saw and learned. To start with here is a Teaser Video with some scenes from Vegas, inside SHOT Show and of course some of the highlight products from each airgun company.

Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback Pellet & BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: SA10.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 2.05 pounds (930 grams).
Barrel: Metal rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto blowback, single & double action.
Ammunition Type: .177 caliber pellets & 4.5mm BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 8x4 round rotary full size drop out metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 420.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is similar to most of the rotary magazine styled pellet pistols. The blowback operation does cock the hammer allowing for a lighter single action styled trigger pull but the trigger pull length is still about the same as shooting in double action. There is less trigger pull weight when the hammer is back shooting in single action but the first part of the trigger pull is necessary in order to rotate the magazine.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol so I have no feedback to share so far but I plan to test out the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol during my next indoor Sea Can Field Test Shooting video. I will be testing out both pellets and BB's for velocity and accuracy.

Build Quality: The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol feel great in the hand and has a nice weight and solid feel to it. Like most modern day pistols the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has a metal slide and polymer frame, you will also find a lot of internal metal parts along with a full size drop out metal magazine. Fit and finish are also very good.

Realism: The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol is not a copy or replica of any actual real steel gun in production but to me it most resembles a Sig Sauer, not exactly as the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does incorporate its own design and style. You will find a lot of real gun attributes  that make this gun look and feel the deal. Like it's blowback operation, full see drop out metal magazine, wide open recessed barrel and ability to be field stripped.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Great weight and feel to it, build quality seems good.

  • Accessory rail for adding a laser or tactical light.

  • Unique full size drop out metal magazine that holds extra rotary magazines on it for quick reloading.

  • Have the option of shooting Steel BB’s or pellets.

  • Has a rifled barrel.

  • Gold barrel looks good.

  • Barrel tip is removable allowing for possible mock suppressor or silencer.

  • Slide catch is actually a safety making it nice and discreet.

  • Can easily field strip the gun.

  • Warning instruction are not overpowering.

Cons:

  • No white or yellow dot sight on the front and they are non-adjustable.

  • Trigger safety is just for show.

  • Not really a replica but a great looking gun none the less.

Comments:

I have been waiting a while to get my hands on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol and now that I have it for review I can say it seems to be a really well put together CO2 Blowback Airgun. OF course I still need to get some shooting in with it till I make my final decision but so far I am liking what I am seeing. Generally prefer actual Replica Airguns but the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does have a really nice look and feel to it, I don't even mind the Gold barrel and I am usually not a big Gold Gun fan. The unique magazine design with its snap in rotary Pellet and BB magazines shoudl come in handy when it coms time for testing and the ability to shoot either Pellets or BB's does give the shooter more options.

If you're interested in picking up an Umarex SA10 for yourself you can find them in our Replica Airguns Canada and US Online Store.

I have been having a hard time getting my hands on the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol to do a review for everyone. It's been a rather low stock item. We have had it in a couple of times but not in a lot of quantity and since the demand has been higher than the supply the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol tends to be out of stock most of the time! Hopefully that changes in the future?

This YouTube video is a Preview video only for the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol so I do not go over a lot, I sim,ply show you around the gun and take a look at the packaging and any info on the packaging. My Future Table Top Video Review will have a lot more details along with a full field strip of the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol.

I have yet to shoot the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol so in terms of the Umarex SA10 actually power and accuracy, we will again fidn out when I do my Field Test Shooting view review for the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol so check back for those review videos.

Here's what we know for now! The Umarex SA10 has a metal frame and polymer slide, it shoots both .177 caliber pellets and 4.5mm Steel BB's. The Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol has blowback action with a single and double action trigger and sports a full size drop out metal magazine that holds the CO2 and removable rotary 8 round magazines, 4 in total 1 ready for shooting and the other 3 on standby ready to be hot swapped. We should expect around 400 fps with lighter ammo and I am hoping for decent accuracy using pellets since the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback Pellet and BB Pistol does have a rifled steel barrel.
