In this Vimeo Video Field Test Review I test out the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle in the indoor Replica Airguns Shooting Range to see how accurate it is and what kind fo velocity we can expect from it.
Starting with the velocity test I averaged out 8 rounds through my chronograph using 8.18 grain lead pellets using the dual 12 gram CO2 setup and I was able to average 445 fps which is not bad as these are mid grain weight pellets, lighter weight pellets would for sure get closer to the 490 fps claimed by Umarex. The temperate was about average room temp so not overly cold or warm.
Moving on to the accuracy test I placed all 9 rounds from the rotary magazine into a fresh paper target setup 30 feet away. I use a reseted seated position in the back with the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle resting on a sand bag up front and I was using the 4 power scope for this test which I setup earlier. My final result was for sure an under one half inch grouping, I did feel like I pulled one shot a little bit but I am sure this Airgun can get quarter inch groupings at 30 feet and I would expect half inch groupings at 50 feet so perfect for mid range small pest shooting.
Umarex does adversities this Air rifle as being very quiet but in Canada we are not allowed to have any type of suppressor even on airguns so I believe this Canada version has been disabled in that regard but the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is fairly quiet for sure with its long barrel and slightly lower fps than the US version. Overall the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is a lot of bang for the buck with the added 4x scope, included magazines that hold 9 rounds each and the ability to use either a dual 12 gram or single 88 gram CO2 setup. It also looks really cool and performs just as good!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle feels pretty good, it is fairly short and light having a claimed 3.5 pound release which is believable. You will need to obviously work the bolt for each shot that precooks the internal hammer/striker allowing for the short and light trigger.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle so stay posted for that. Umarex has claimed a velocity of around 490 FPS for the Canada version I will be testing, the US version has a claimed velocity of up to 700 for those in the US purchasing this Rifle. I am sure the included 4x32 optical scope once setup will help in the accuracy department when I test this CO2 Air Rifle out on a paper target setup 30 feet down range.
Build Quality: The Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is a fairly low cost target pellet Rifle when you consider it comes with a decent optical scope along with two 9 round magazines but even so the build quality seems very solid coming in at 6.5 pounds. The stock is plastic of course but there is lots of metal where you want it to be as in the bolt, trigger, safety and most other mechanical parts.
Realism: The Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is not a replace of any gun I know of but does sport a very modern ergonomic look with its pistol grip and molded full stock. I like the built in picatinny rail which even though it does not offer any type of open sight configuration will allow for a variety of scope mounting options for near or far shooting.
Pros:
Low cost for a full featured Air Rifle with included scope.
Nice ergonomic modern looking design.
Ability to use either 12 gram or 88 gram CO2 cartridges.
Comes with 4x32 optical scope and all mounting hardware needed.
Come with two 9 round rotary magazines.
May be very quiet if the SilencAir technology is not disabled here in Canada?
Single action 3.5 pound trigger fells good.
Safety is large and easy to use.
M-LOK slots for mounting additional hardware.
Cons:
No iron sight option if you would prefer that.
Limited to under 500 fps (Canada version).
Not sure about the functionality of the SilencAir technology in Canada?
Comments: I am looking forward to performing my Indoor Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle to see if it performs as good as it looks. I’ll probably use the duel 12 gram configuration for this test since I don’t plan on shooting 300 rounds with it for my testing. We should also find out if the SilencAir technology has been disabled or not with my Canada version but even so, a 500 fps Air Refile is not going to be all that loud either way at the end of the day. There are not a lot of Bolt Action multi shot pellet Air Rifles out there especially in this price range so I am really hoping it hits a home run when I test it so stay posted for that video…

In this Preview Unboxing Video I do an Unboxing and take a quick look at three Bolt Action Rifles, two spring powered Airsoft Rifles from ASG and a dual CO2 powered Pellet Rifle from Umarex.
I will say right off the bat this Field Test Shooting Video for the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock and Adapter did not go as well as I would have wanted it to! The HPA tank itself worked really well but I believe the adapter was faulty as it was destroying the seals on my tank and not regulating very well.
I still wanted to publish this video regardless as not all reviews go as planned, some fail horribly but I would rather be honest and transparent about it rather than have you believe every product is a perfect.
There will always be problems even with really great products there can be defects. I plan to get a new adaptor and try this Field Test Review Video again but for now you can have some fun watching me at least have some success using the Air Venturi 3000 PSI Aluminum HPA Tank with Stock on my Rap4 Rap5 MP5.

I thought when I read the one mag instruction guide that I had a good idea on how to use it but there was one area I misunderstood. I thought I needed to pull the tab in and out several times to reload the magazine but in fact I only needed to pull it out once, then shale the magazine back and forth horizontally a few times and then I was good to go.
I also read some other comments that mentioned I didn’t have to take the magazine out every time I reloaded so in this video I test that out to make sure and then one last comment that rather than pulling the charging handle back each time I reloaded I could simply press the bolt release on the right side of the Airgun, and yes this is the case with the Crosman Full Auto rile series.
So here I go a second time in making sure I do it right this time!
I have been wanting to test out the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine for a while now and finally got around to it. The weather was cooperating with me so I went outside for this one and setup a bunch of cameras to make the many many magazine reloads a bit more interesting for my viewers.
The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine has a hopper that is said to hold around 300 4.5mm Steel BB’s which I can attest it does in fact hold at least 300 BB’s. The Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine like their regular Crosman Full Auto Magazines holds two 12 gram CO2 Cartridges, so the question is, will I be able to get through most of the 300 BB’s without reloading the CO2?
Watch my struggle a bit to figure out the exactly how to properly use the Crosman Full Auto Quick Reload Magazine and then quickly eat through 300 or so BB’s blasting pop cans down range!
This is a bit of a different test than my usual Indoor Field Test Shooting Video I make here in the Replica Airguns indoor shooting range. I don’t test the feet per second with my Chronograph, I don’t test how accurate each gun is shooting in semi auto. Instead this Full Auto BB Rifle comparisons is to find out which Full Auto BB rifle has the highest rate of fire and which one stays on target the best shooting 25 rounds in full auto, all in one burst.

It was a decent day today, not too cold and not raining at least at the time I and ethics video :) I figured with my new Insta60 One R and iVUE Vista cameras it would be a great day to test them out outside shooting with my G&G SMC-9 Full Auto Airsoft Carbine. I like the bak for more regulated Indoor Field Tests, these outside usually clay pigeon shooting videos are a lot more fun and I think a nice break for everyone.
So in this video I have three cameras rolling and switch camera switch back and forth throughout the video to make the experience more immersive. I have cameras setup front and back (Sony RX100 IV in front & Sony HDR-AS15 Back), along with my iVUE camera glasses and my Insta360 One R mounted to the barrel of my G&G SMC-9. All in all I think the video turned out well. It may be time to upgrade my Sony Action Camera as it is probably the oldest camera in my collection and you can see in the video it does not look as good as the other cameras.

There is not much to really say here, it’s all about watching this one as I basically shoot stuff with the Air-Ordnance SMG 22 Full Auto Pellet Rifle and figure out how many 100 round belts I can get out of a fully charged 3000 PS 48 CU PCP Tank. So make sure to watch this one for sure!

I have been wanting to get my hands one of these Air-Ordnance SMG 22 .22 Caliber Full Auto Pellet Machine Guns for several years now and super glad I happened finally :) I really don’t think there is any airgun out there like it. I am really hoping that we will be able to have this one in both our Canada and US Online Replica Airguns Stores.
So what exactly is the Air-Ordnance SMG 22 .22 Caliber Full Auto Pellet Machine Gun? It’s a PCP powered semi/full auto .22 caliber pellet firing Airgun and it is available in a Canada legal version that shoots just under 500 fps allowing it to be classified here in Canada as an unregulated Firearm. Unregulated Firearms do not require a license or registration and do not have to abide by the same rules that regulated firearms have to such as full auto limitations, magazine capacities and size limitations. So in other words if you want a full auto .22 caliber Machine gun here in Canada this is going to be your only option at least for now.
Some other cool features about the Air-Ordnance SMG 22 .22 Caliber Full Auto Pellet Machine Gun is the trigger setup, pull it light and quick and you get a single shot, pull and hold using medium force and you get full auto but not at a super high rate of fire. Press and hold the trigger down hard and you get full auto with a much faster rate of fire so you control the rate of fire by how hard you press the trigger down. Air-Ordnance SMG 22 .22 Caliber Full Auto Pellet Machine Gun also has an adjustment to set the maximum rate of full auto fire.

This test of the DJI Spark Mini Drone was to make sure I could use it in the way I intended for it when I am outdoors and want to get that nice higher up flowing camera angel you can only get form a drone.. The method I use in this video doesn't even require a remote control or smartphone and I can have it take off right out of my hand.
I then use hand gestures to control the DJI Spark Drone to do things like: Place the drone in the right starting location, make the DJI Spark start recording video, have the Spark zoom up and out from me for an "eye in the sky" aerial follow me mode and then of course when I am finished what I want it to record have the DJI Sparkreturn to me and land again on my hand. Again all of this without even taking the remote out of the box or even using a smartphone to control the DJI Spark Mini Drone!
Watch me test out the DJI Spark Mini Drone in my backyard while I shoot some of my Airguns at miscellaneous targets while I walk around and have the DJI Spark follow me while recording video.
So how did the Air Venturi HellBoy M4 CO2 BB Rifle do? Unfortunately my Chrony Chronograph bit the dust, even though it I just bought it well I guess we are going back 2 years ago but still my luck with the Chrony Chronographs has not been good :( I thought it was perhaps the battery but when I switched it out for a new one I still got the same gibberish on screen!
So I resorted to using my Airsoft Chronograph which is not ideal for testing our steel BB's and or Lead Pellets. I did get some results which gave me a three shot average of 437 feet per second, this was after shooting off a full magazine and I was having some slight CO2 leakage with my Air Venturi HellBoy M4 CO2 BB Rifle? Perhaps a bad valve or seal?
When I was playing around with m y Air Venturi HellBoy M4 CO2 BB Rifle outside shooting clay pigeons at a variety of distances I found it to be pretty accurate finding my targets most of the time even out to 50 feet or more. So was not too surprised when I shot a nice 1 inch 10 round grouping using a mounted red dot scope to help a little bit.
All in all the Air Venturi HellBoy M4 CO2 BB Rifle is a pretty slick Replica Rifle to own, I will be comparing it to the Crosman DPMS SBR now that one has arrived, they both have pros and cons so it will be interesting to see which one is going to be my favorite at the end of the day but I can say if you can own both then go for it! Trigger Pull: the trigger on the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is what you would expect from a bolt action style hunting/sniper rifle. The working of the bolt does most of the work for your trigger finger so all that is required is the release of the firing pin from a very short and light tigger.
Build Quality: The KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is well built all around and the fit and finish feel good. all the mechanical parts functioned without any problems and I do like the textured stock and nice rubber butt pad. I did notice a couple of spots on the textured stock where it there where cosmetic imperfections, perhaps this is form the moulding of it?
Realism: The KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is based around the Remington 700 platform which looks like your standard high powered hunting rifle. The Airsoft version looks and functions just like the real deal since we are using Green Gas rather than a spring making the bolt easy and smooth to operate. Pros:
Bolt is super easy to use compared to a Spring style bolt action Airsoft rifle.
Textured stock feels great.
Lots of sight option with the built in scope rail and removable adjustable iron sights.
Ready for Bipod or sling.
Full size drop out metal magazine that holds the Gas and Airsoft BB’s.
Easy to adjust Hop-up screw.
Cons:
FPS was a little bit lower than expected.
Was not able to get 11 rounds into the magazine.
Some imperfections on the textured stock.
Comments: I have revised a couple of spring bolt action Airsoft rifles in the past and although it's nice that all you need is a bag of Airsoft BB's and your ready to shoot, having the Gas operation makes the bolt so much easier to operate allowing for much quicker follow up shoots. The more time you have to acquire your next target and make the shot can make all the difference when your enemy is closing in. The KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is a nice ready to shoot out of the box Airsoft rifle that if you want to can be customized pretty easy with a bipod or scope which I would recommend since not only will this make the KJWorks M700P Gas Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle look a lot better but also way more practical.

I also have a new Red Ryder Type BB Rifle to show off, this one is John Wayne licensed and called the John Wayne Lil Duke. At first glace it looks a lot like a Red Ryder but it has the large loop styled lever which is designed for easier use when wearing gloves, perfect for our Canadian weather ;) The John Wayne Lil Duke Lever Action BB Rifle has a really nice fit and finish, perhaps even a bit better than the classic Red Ryder BB Gun. I really like the real wood stock finish.
Another nice touch is that the John Wayne Lil Duke Lever Action BB Rifle comes with a lasso scope rail that you can attach just behind the rear iron sight to accommodate dove tail scope mounts. Just make sure to really tighten down the rear screw as it comes loose super easy due to the spring vibration. I would even recommend adding a bit of lock tight to the screw to be sure.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle is not too bad, I would not say it's overly light but not on the heavy side either. Essentially it has a single action trigger since you need to pre-charge the bolt to engage the trigger. There is a little bit of take-up and then a fairly noticeable break point where you will feel the most trigger weight right before it releases.
Accuracy: So far I have not performed my Field Test Shooting review for the Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle so I do not have any velocity or accuracy information to share at this point. I do plan on making that Shooting video Review this week so stay posted for that one.
Build Quality: The Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle is not going to be one of your highest quality airguns but it does get the job done and feels solid enough with all the working parts feeling tight and secure. Most of the Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle is plastic, even the bolt and trigger but you will find more metal inside where it counts like the inner steel barrel and the outer steel barrel shroud. The stock is plastic and that's OK, I do like the addition of the rubber butt pad and cheek rest as they work well and help to make the Umarex Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle feel comfortable to hold in position and shoot.
Realism: Since the Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle is not a replica, realism is not really a factor here but it does look like a gun so treat it as if it was a real gun since most people will not know the difference. Always transport and store any airgun safely and discreetly.
Pros:
Low cost air rifle with a lot of features.
Iron sights actually look really usable with the fiber optic red dot up front.
Comes with an 4x15 optical sight which should help with accuracy at longer ranges.
Super easy to pump even when getting close to the 10 pump max.
Built in auto safety.
Stock and cheek rest position feel really good.
Choice of shooting pellets or BB’s.
Trigger feels pretty good, not too heavy.
Mostly an ambidextrous design so good for lefties too.
Has a rifled barrel.
Overall a good looking air rifle.
Cons:
Mostly plastic, not the highest quality build.
Included 4x15 scope is super low budget but will work till you can upgrade it down the road.
Comments: I really hope the Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle shoots well as it is kind of a cool air rifle with a lot of features at a low price tag and would make a great little target and maybe even small pest air rifle if it turns out to be accurate and hit that near 500 fps mark with pellets. The Umarex NXG APX Multi-pump Pellet-BB Rifle is not going to win any quality or design awards but from a usability stand point it works well and feels good to hold and shoot, the rear stock and cheek rest are in a perfect piston for me and this is a pretty small airgun overal. Personally I would invest in an upgraded scope, something like the Walther 4x32 would be perfect and not too expensive.
Power: Generally speaking a longer barrel is going to allow for more power. If you compare most CO2 pellet pistols to CO2 Pellet Rifles, you will find that the CO2 Pellet Pistol will generally shoot about 300-400 fps using a standard lead Pellet. On the other hand many CO2 Pellet Rifles can get up to as high as 600 fps which is much better speed for humanly shooting some smaller pests.
If you are talking about Springer or Variable Pump Air Pistols versus their Air Rifle counterparts, again the Air rifles will generally shoot with much more power. I have seen some none CO2 Air Pistols shoot up into the 500-600 fps range but again compered to none CO2 Air Rifles, they can even double these numbers.
Some of you may ask about Steel BB Pistols and Rifles. I personally would never really sue this type of ammunition for pest control simply because most BB Rifles have much less raw power than Pellet Rifles and steel BB’s will not be as accurate at any type of longer distance.
Stability: When holding any rifle from the shoulder, you have three point of contact with your body spread out in a much longer distance than a two handed pistol grip. Holding steady even without a rested position is much easier using a rifle. Even when using a rested position, the rifle will more stable.
Accuracy: A big factor in accuracy is stability but there are also other factors to consider. Barrel length its self does not make the gun more accurate, you only need a few inches of barrel length to get constant accurate results from a gun. What makes longer barreled guns more accurate is the distance between the rear and front sight. The closer the sights are together, the more margin for error there is, the longer you spread out the sights from each other, the more accurate the sighting system becomes.
Overall More Humain: When you consider Air Rifles tend to have higher power, better accuracy and overall more consistency than shorter barreled Air Pistols. The logical choice for humanly shooting a Pest is to use the Air Rifle. The last thing you want to do is make any animal suffer, even if it has been causing a lot of havoc around your home or farm or place of business.
Watch and see what happens when you take an RWA M1919 AEG Airsoft Machine Gun and put it head to head against the all metal F1 Chrony Chronograph. That's right, my old temperamental Chrony F-1 Chronograph meets its first opponent! Did it survive or did it bow to the hail storm of 6mm Airsoft BB's...
Since I pretty much took my Cybergun KWC Desert Eagle .50AE CO2 Airsoft Pistol right out of the box and started shooting I did not have the chance to set the hop-up or even figure out exactly where it was shooting and as I found out it was shooting rather high and the .20 gram BB's may have been a bit light since they seemed to spray all over. Either way I did manage to hit a few targets after eating up all the CO2 and shooting off two full mags of Airsoft Ammo...
