Full Auto Fun 2022 Video 1 Crosman A4-P

In this years 2022 Full Auto Fun Video series I take three Full auto Airguns outside in the yard and have some fun with them shooting at water filled cans and a gel target. I picked two Full Auto CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Guns from Crosman, the A4-P AR-15 Pistol and the AK1 Rifle which is a modernized AK 47. The Crosman A4-P representing my most compact entry with the Crosman AK1 representing my mid size entry even though it is fairly large. I end this series with the Air Ordnance SMG .22 which is a PCP powered Full Auto .22 Caliber Pellet Machine Gun and yes this represents my large or at least most powerful choice for this years 2022 Full Auto Fun Video.

In this video, (Video 1 of the series) I have some Full Auto Fun with the Crosman A4-P, watch and enjoy along with me as I place 100 rounds down range ripping up some water filled cans and putting holes in my gel target.

Canadian Temporary Handgun Ban What it Means for Airguns

In this Replica Airguns Video I talk about the latest Canadian Temporary Handgun Ban What it Means for Airguns. I talk about what I think abut it and what it means for Replica Airguns now and in the future.

Canada puts in place temporary handgun import ban!

From: Global Affairs Canada

News release

August 05, 2022 - Toronto, Ontario - Global Affairs Canada

Canadians deserve to feel safe in their communities. That is why the Government of Canada has a comprehensive plan that gets firearms off our streets and more

resources into our communities. A central part of this is the recently introduced Bill C21. The bill addresses the alarming role of guns in gender based violence, gets tough on organized crime and most significantly introduces a national freeze on the sale,

transfer and ownership of handguns, anywhere in Canada.

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, today announced a temporary import ban on the importation of restricted handguns. This will help bring the ultimate impact of the national handgun freeze into force sooner. This temporary ban means that individuals and businesses will no longer be able to import handguns into Canada, subject to narrow exceptions that mirror those in Bill C-21. These restrictions will take effect on

August 19th, 2022, and will last until the national freeze comes into force. No single program or initiative can tackle the challenge of gun violence on its own. That is why Bill C-21 and the national freeze on handguns are two of the many elements in the Government’s comprehensive plan to keep Canadians safe. This begins at our borders, where we’ve added resources to fight smuggling and stop guns from coming into Canada. We’re also investing in prevention programs to tackle the root causes of gun crime and stop it before it starts. Finally, we banned assault-style weapons like AR15s, and will soon begin a buyback program to get these weapons of war out of our communities once and for all.

Quotes

“We know that one Canadian killed by gun violence is one too many. As a government, it is our duty to ensure that Canada remains one of the safest places to live in the world. The import ban announced today will help to keep guns stay off our streets as we work towards implementing Bill C-21, reducing gun violence in the immediate term.

- Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs

“My top priority as Minister is keeping Canadians safe in their communities. Today’s announcement is further proof that we are using all tools at our disposal to fight gun crime in this country. It is a key pillar of our plan to address it, along with investments in prevention, action at our borders, a ban on assault-style weapons and Bill C-21 –Canada’s most significant action on gun violence in a generation.”

- Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety

Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft Rifle.
Manufacturer: Tokyo Marui.
Model: CQBR Block1.
Materials: Metal and Polymer.
Weight: 9.97 pounds (4.52kg).
Barrel: 9.84 inches (250mm).
Propulsion: Gas Blowback.
Action: Semi & Full Auto - SAO trigger.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 35
Max FPS: 350 Tested (.20 gram).

Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is single action only so the charging handle will need to be engaged on your first shot un less the bolt is already back for a preview empty magazine and reload. The trigger is light and short with virtual no makeup but then just a bit of creep before releasing the internal striker and firing a round.

Accuracy: I did already perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle so I do have some information to share relating to the shooting abilities of this Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle. During my Velocity Chronograph Test I was able to average 332 fps using .20 gram Airsfot BB’s with my highest velocity shot hitting 350 fps. My 10 shot grouping at 30 feet away yielded a 1.5 inch spread and when I placed the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle in full auto it did open up a fair amount since the blowback action really rocks this gun around a lot making full auto shooting spread out much monroe than semi auto shooting but still so much fun to shoot in full auto :). You can watch my full Field Test Shooting Video here!

Build Quality: The build quality of the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is one of the highest out there with high quality metal parts throughout this GBB AIrsfot Rifle both inside and out. Some of the internals include a heavy duty 19mm blowback piston, New mechanism Z-system to prevent wear and tear of bolt catch, piston absorber and friction relief bolt roller to reduce the burden on internal parts due to bolt operation.

Realism: The Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is a near perfect replica of a Colt licensed AR 15 and Tokyo Marui has a ton of detail to the fit and finish including the unique and multiple finishes on the external parts: The rail hand guard, front sight, and stock reproduce the difference in FDE color tone applied to each part as in the real thing. The metal rail hand guard reproduces the color by alumite treatment with excellent scratch resistance. In addition, the upper / lower frame and bolts are made of Ceracoat, which has a strong coating film and excellent scratch resistance.

Pros:

  • Super high quality GBB Airsoft Rifle.

  • Bolt locks back for easy hop-up adjustments.

  • Very heavy blowback operation.

  • Lots of metal parts, mostly everything except the stock, fore grip and pistol grip.

  • Lots of mounting points with it’s quad rail setup.

  • Awesome internals: Heavy duty 19mm blowback piston, New mechanism Z-system to prevent wear and tear of bolt catch, piston absorber and friction relief bolt roller to reduce the burden on internal parts due to bolt operation.

  • Attention to detail goes beyond expectation! Color reproduction and special surface treatment is a good example of this.

  • Easy to mount a sling with it’s QD tactical sling mounts on handguard, lower receiver, and stock.

  • Adjustable hop-up as expected.

  • 6 portion rear stock.

  • Removable and fully adjustable rear sight.

  • Great for close and mid range shooting situations with a 350 average fps using .20 gram BB’s.

  • Accuracy was good at 30 feet getting around a 1.5 inch 10 shot grouping.

Cons:

  • My magazine did not seem to seal very well in the nozzle area when filling with propane but mag seemed to fill OK, just seemed to waste a bit of gas while filling.

  • Heavy blowback makes full auto accuracy move around a fair amount.

  • Pretty much have sue the included magazine filling tube to load BB’s in the magazine sop will need ot be carried with you in a game.

  • On the very high end of the price spectrum.

Comments:
I am a bit of a sucker for Blowback Airguns in general whether it be Pistol, Rifle, BB, Pellet, Paintball or Airsoft. So right out of the box I loved the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle with its heavy blowback recoil. All that aside the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle is one of the highest quality Gas Blowback AR 15 type Airsoft Rifles you will be able to get your hands on assuming if you can find it in stock. It is a near perfect Airsoft Replica of a real steel Colt AR with only the best finishes and parts available for such a GBB Rifle.

Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

This was a fun Field Test Shooting Video Review to make for the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle. Overall it performed really well for me in terms of power and accuracy. As usual I test out the velocity pacing several rounds through my Chronograph and averaging them out. Then I proceed to test out the accuracy shooting 10 rounds in semi auto at a paper target 30 feet away followed by some full auto bursts to see how that effects the accuracy. You can watch my Preview Vide for the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle for some more details and specifications

Starting with my velocity test, I placed 6 rounds through my Chronpgrah using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s with a fully gassed up magazine. The slowest shot was 332 fps while the fastest shot was 350 fps for a 6 shot average of 337 fps, the temperature was not overly warm in the Sea Can for this Field Test so I would imagine in a warmer shooting conditions the velocity would be a little bit higher.

Switch to my Accuracy test for the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle I set myself up using a rested seated shooting position with a sand bag up front for stability. My fresh paper target was 30 feet down range for this test. I was able to place 10 rounds in semi auto all within about 1.5 inches slightly high on the target but well centered left to right. This is just using out of the box already setup hop-up and sight adjustments. I then shot the remaining 25 rounds left in the magazine using several full auto bursts until the magazine was empty and as expected the grouping opened up more since this Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle really does have some kick and does move around a fair bit.

I really enjoyed testing out the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle in the Replcai Airguns Sea Can Indoor Airgun Shooting Range. It performed exactly how I was hoping with mid range velocity and excellent accuracy in semi auto. If you are looking for one of the more realistic and higher quality GBB Airsoft AR-15 type Airsoft Rifles on the market you really can not go wrong with the Tokyo Marui CQBR Block1 GBB Airsoft Rifle as it checks all these boxes!

Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

Yet another Indoor Field Test Shooting Video performed in the Replica Airguns Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range. Today I put the Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle through its paces and it came out a winner for sure! I really like the way this AR15 type AEG Airsoft Rifle looks and feels and was hoping to get a good result today, I was not disappointed! I have not yet made my Table Top Video for the Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan for this next week, you can watch my Preview Video for some details and specifications in the mean time

As I always do, I first tested out the Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle by shooting several rounds through my Chronograph to see what the actual velocity is in fps. I used .20 gram Airsoft BB’s for this test and was able to get a 6 shot average of 408 fps so perfect for most shooting situations as this is not too hot or too cold. My slowest shot was 402 fps while the fastest shot was 410 so pretty consistent for sure.

Next I placed a fresh paper target 30 feet down range on my ammo trap and proceeded to shoot around 10 rounds into it using a rested seated shooting position with a sand bag up front to help with stability. The first shot out of the barrel felt and sounded like a double shot and this one did strike the target just a tad low so I left that one out of the test results. All the other Airsoft BB’s shot easily within 1.5 inches maybe even a bit tighter and all where well centered left to right but just a bit low on the target most likely because I was using a red dot with a riser that places the sights fairly high. Since the Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle can also shoot in full auto I had to give it a try and pretty much emptied the magazine until the target actually fell off the ammo trap. The full auto grouping did open up just a slight bit as expected but only marginally.

I really like the Sig Sauer Proforce MCX Virtus AEG Airsoft Rifle, yes it’s an AR15 at it’s core but Sig has made it their own in terms of looks and styling. The performance was also excellent so this gun is not just for show. You will need a sighting system of some sort when you buy it so keep that in mind. I suggest a red dot of some sort but you could add on iron sights if you like more traditional sights.

Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun Field Test Review

Yet another Field test Shooting review for the Crosman AR line of CO2 BB Blowback Full Auto Machine Guns. Today I test out the Pistol version or A4-P model. Basically this is the same BB Gun mechanically as all the other Crosman AR’s but with some cosmetic differences which can affect power and accuracy a bit. And that would be a slightly shorter barrel which can reduce velocity and the lack of a but stock for less stability.

As always I first test out the power or velocity for the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun, I always use brand new CO2 and make sure the temperature is not too cold in the Replica Airguns Sea Can. Crosman claims around 400+ fps for the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun and in my Chronograph test I was able to get a 5 shot average of 357 fps. The temperature was not super warm so I would expect on a hot summer day to get closer to 400 fps so pretty close.

I then proceeded to see what kind of accuracy I could get from the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun shooting 10 rounds in semi auto at a paper target setup 30 feet down range. I use a stabilized shooting position with the Airgun resting on a sand bag up front and me sitting on a stool in the back so the lack of a stock was not a huge drawback here. Regular stand up shooting and not being able to shoulder this Airgun as easily will mean a difference for sure. In semi auto mode with 10 rounds I was able to get around a 2 inch group but I would say this BB Machine gun should get closer to a 1 inch grouping as 8 out of the 10 rounds where all within 1 inch of each other so perhaps some human error on my part was at play here. Just for fun I unloaded the last 15 rounds in full auto on the unsuspecting target and as expected the grouping widened to around 4-5 inches.

Personally I prefer the Crosman AR Full Auto BB guns with a rear stock for that added extended shoulder support but the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun will fit much better into a back pack if you want to take it out in the woods for some shooting fun. Not everyone has a proper backyard or indoor range to use! the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is also one of the coolest looking in this lineup so that has to count for something ;) I wonder what Crosman has planned for their line of Full Auto BB Machine guns now that they have several AR versions and even the AK1. Maybe an MP5 or a SCAR?

Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun Table Top Review

Type: BB Pistol/Rifle.
Manufacturer: Crosman.
Model: A4-P.
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 5.3 pounds (2.4 kilograms).
Length: 21.2 inches.
Propulsion: 12 gram CO2 dual cartridges.
Action: Blowback - Semi & full auto, single action only.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 25 rounds.
FPS: 430fps.
Rate of Fire: 1400 rounds per minute in full auto

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is single action only since the charging handle must be cocked first before you can shoot it. The trigger is short and fairly light as you would expect from an AR type trigger action. The real fun happens with the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun when you switch it over to full auto mode and with just one pull and hold of the trigger you empty the 25 round magazine in mere seconds. You may want to pickup the Crosman High Capacity magazine if you plan on doing a lot fo full auto shooting!

Accuracy: I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video just yet but you can checkout my Field Test Shooting Video for the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun which is a very similar product to the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun. I test out the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun using my Chronograph where I get an average of 385 fps and a nice 30 foot grouping of right around 1 inch in semi out and a decently tight full auto group of about 3-4 inches. We should expect about the same with the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun as long as not being able to shoulder it is a big factor?

Build Quality: The Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is well made all around just like the rest of the Crosman AR series of BB Machine Guns. Weighing in at 5.3 pounds without any add on accessories it feel solid and well built. There is a lot of metal going on inside and out of this rifle but keep in mind the top and bottom receiver are plastic with metal parts where they need to be like in the internals, pretty much all the working parts are metal, the magazine is full metal, the buffer tub is metal, charging handle, selector switch, magazine release, bolt release, trigger and of course the barrel is metal.

Realism: The Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is about as real as you are going to get in a CO2 Blowback AR/M4 styled Airgun. You can even take it apart and split the top and bottom receivers like the real steal version. The blowback action gives you some recoil but more importantly offers a true single action trigger and of course the full auto ability we all love. Almost all the working parts work like they would on a real AR / M4 other than the forward assist which is moulded into the receiver. Keep in mind this is the pistol version but like other AR styled “Pistols” the buffer tube area is still required to make the action work.

Pros:

  • Super realistic working M4/AR 4.5mm BB Rifle just like the other Crosman Rifles in this lineup.

  • Full blowback operation with both semi and full auto shooting, can feel the blowback operation rocking the gun.

  • Great weight and feel to it.

  • Almost everything works exactly like the real steel version. (Charging handle, dust cover, bolt release, magazine release, selector switch).

  • Duel CO2 metal drop out magazine that holds the 25 4.5mm steel BB’s as well as the dual CO2.

  • Compact maneuverable pistol version but may be able to add an AR butt stock if you want?

  • Included red dot sight and ability to add pop-up iron sights.

  • Lots of rails for mounting additional cool hardware.

  • Removable flash hider.

  • Works with Crosman High Capacity magazine.

Cons:

  • Receiver is plastic but well made and does not compromise feel or weight since there is lots of metal throughout this gun.

  • No iron sights included.

  • No but stock included.

Comments:

The Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is really pretty much the same as the Crosman DPMS SBR and Crosman MPW and Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun with more or less Cosmetic changes, most notably being the lack of a butt stock and being more of the pistol version. Like the otters Crosman AR products, the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun has an AR compatible pistol grip, adn like the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun you also have the ability to change out the flash hider, you can even put a mock suppression on in it if you choose to. No matter which of the Crosman AR Full Auto CO2 BB Rifles you chooses to get they are mechanically every similar and share most of the same parts. If you want the most compact version than the Crosman A4-P CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is the way to go!

Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video I put some .20 gram Airsoft BB’s through the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol to see what the actual velocity is compared to the claimed fps. I also put 10 rounds into a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to find out just how accurate and what kind of grouping I can get from this Gas Blowback Airsoft pistol and also do a full mag dump! If you have not already watched my Table Top Review for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol then make sure to watch if for more specifications and details along with some nice close up video.

For my Chronograph test I placed 5 rounds through my Chrony using .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s and was able to average 314 fps with the short barrel and 385 fps with the longer barrel extension added. I was surprised with the addition 70 fps just by adding an extra 4 inches or so to the barrel.

For the accuracy portion of my Field test Shooting Video for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol, I ended up first placing 10 rounds into a fresh paper target setup 30 feet down range. I was using my standard seated and rested shooting position which does offer a fairly stable shooting platform but not without some degree of human interaction. I was a little bit disappointed in the grouping I got as it was one of the larger groupings I have gotten for a test like this spreading out to at least 5-6 inches, still perfectly fine shooting at human target 30-40 feet away. I then uploaded up a full magazine with BB’s and gas and did a mag dump on the same target. As expected there was a lot fo gas and a lot ammo spraying everywhere but the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol did make it through the full 22 rounds and get at least some of them on the target.

The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol may not be the most accurate GBB Airsoft Pistol out of the box but does offer both semi and full auto and at the end of the day when using this Airsoft Pistol in an actual game situation the accuracy will be not as important since your target will generally be a human torso which is much larger than the 5-6 inch grouping I got. I’m not sure how useful the full auto feature really is in a real world situation but it sure is fun and maybe if you pair up a higher capacity G-series magazine this compact full auto pistol could work as a nice min machine gun!

Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft Pistol.
Distributer: Action Army.
Model: Action Army AAP-01.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 1.43 pounds (648 grams).
Barrel: 5/9.25 inches.
Total Length: 9 inches.
Propulsion: Gas Blowback.
Action: SAO.
Ammunition Type: .6mm Airsoft BB’s
Ammunition Capacity: 22 rounds.
FPS: 360.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is fairly light, it is a single action only trigger meaning you will need to pull the bolt back to engage the trigger and load an Airsoft BB into the breach. I noticed there is about a 1/4 inch of take-up with a firm breakpoint and easy trigger release. You will also notice there is a trigger safety on the trigger but it does not get in the way at all.

Accuracy: I have not had the chance to really test out this Airsoft Pistol but will be doing so next week when I make my Field Test Shooting Video for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol. I did load up a magazine with propane and do a mag dump in full auto and managed to get though it all but I did pretty much use up all the Gas shooting in full auto. I am sure when in semi auto the gas will go a lot further. I look forward to seeing how it performs in the Filed test in term of accuracy and velocity.

Build Quality: The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol has a good overall build quality and fit and finish. There is a lot of plastic on the outside but good use of metal internally in the bolt, barrel and magazine giving it decent weight but not making it too heavy.

Realism: The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is not an actual Replica specifically of any one particular real steel gun in production, that said it does resemble the Ruger series of 22LR pistols in design and how the bolt functions. You will finds lots of working parts that function as you would expect to them if this was a powder burner. Like the bolt, slide catch, magazine release, safety, trigger safety and full size drop put metal magazine. You can even field strip this gun easily.

Pros:

  • Full Blowback operation.

  • Full size dropout G-series metal magazine .

  • Fiber optic front and back sights.

  • Can mount rails on top and bottom (not included).

  • Comes with short and long barrels.

  • Has a 14mm threaded barrel which can be used to add a mock suppressor to hide the barrel extension.

  • Working trigger safety and added cross bolt safety.

  • Mostly everything is ambidextrous.

  • Can be used in semi auto or full auto mode with the flick of a switch hidden under the bolt.

  • Overall a nice looking custom Airsoft Pistol!

Cons:

  • Rear sight not adjustable.

  • May be hard to find a holster for it.

  • Seems to eat a lot of gas especially in full auto mode.

Comments:
What I really like about the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is that it is rather unique looking, it looks nothing like a Glock, or 1911, or a Beretta or Sig so if you want something that stands out from the crowd then this may be it. I also like the ability to shoot in semi auto or full auto with the click of a switch and since it uses standard G-series magazines you should be able to easily find higher capacity extended mags that hold more gas and more Airsoft BB’s which you will for sure need if you plan to be shooting this one in full auto often.

Umarex Ruger Mark IV - Action Army AAP-01 - Bear Desire XL - Crosman A4-P - Air Venturi Avenger Preview

In this Preview Unboxing Vimeo Video I take a look at five very different products! A Spring Piston .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol, an Airsoft GBB Pistol, a Compact Crossbow, a full auto CO2 Blowback BB Pistol and a PPC .22 Caliber Pellet Rifle.

First up is the Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol which is a single shot replica pellet pistol that shoots .177 caliber pellets at up to 320 fps using a spring piston break barrel system. The Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol is a target plinker with fully adjustable fiber optic sights and should be a lot of fun to shoot!

Next I take a look at a Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol from Action Army that closely resembles the Ruger Mark IV pistol with perhaps a more compact look. The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is full blowback a full size drop out magazine and fiber optic sights. It also come with a threaded barrel and barrel extension for adding a longer barrel and much suppressor.

Next on my list of new items is the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow which is a 2.2 pound compact bolt shooting crossbow that sports a rail system with included adjustable iron sights that also allow for a red dot if you want to really customize it. The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow has a 60 pound draw and shoots arrows/bolts at up to 175 fps.

Another AR BB Rifle/Pistol from Crosman is the Crosman A4-P Full Auto CO2 BB Pistol which is essentially a pistol version of the AR Platform. If you like the Crosman DPMS SBR, R1, PDW then you will probably also like the Crosman AP-4. Like the others it uses dual CO2’s and shoots 4.5mm Steel BB;s in semi or full auto at 1400 rounds per minute until the 25 round magazine is empty.

Last included in this preview video is the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle. I’m a bit uncertain about this one as I am pretty sure it is the non detuned PAL version that requires a firearms license here in Canada as it shoots at full velocity (.22 caliber pellet at 950 fps). If that’s the case then it will not be available in our Canada Replica Airguns Store but may be available in the US Replica Airguns Store. If it is the detuned version or a detuned version becomes available in Canada then I imagine we will at some point have it in the Canada replica Airguns Store. That said the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle uses compressed air and shoots either .177. .22 or .25 caliber pellets using a latch system and rotary magazine.

Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Replica Airguns Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle to see what the actual velocity is and what kind of accuracy we can expect shooting 30 feet down range into a paper target, I shoot in both semi auto (10 rounds) and then Full auto (A bunch of rounds) to see how this will asl effect the accuracy.

Make sure to also watch my Table Top Video Review for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft to find out more about it’s specifications and features along with some nice close up video of it.

Starting off with the velocity portion of this Field Test Shooting Video, I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and averaged 384 fps. The slowest shot was 380 fps while the fastest shot was 390, so only a 10 fps spread! This is a nice velocity as it’s not too hot for indoor skirmishes or too slow for further out shooting outside.

Next I setup a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle in both semi auto and full auto to see what kind of grouping I could expect. I did not sight in the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as I like to see how they perform right out of the box. I did notice I was shooting a little bit high and just slightly to the left. Elevation adjustment can be easily adjusted using either the front post sight, the rear notch sight or even a little bit with hop-up so this is not a problem. There is however no way I could see to adjust windage so any corrections you may need ot make left to right you will have to do using your aim point. That said I was able to get around a 1.5 inch grouping with 10 rounds in semi auto mode.

Switching things up to Full auto so fun mode I proceeded to place a whole bunch of rounds into the target, I will estimate around 75 or so and the grouping only spread out to about 2 inches so semi or full auto you will get great accuracy with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle! The rate of fire using an 8.4 volt battery is not super fast but the cycle rate on a real steel AK47 is also not super fast but if you want to speed it up and also have a more responsive trigger then I would suggest using a higher voltage LiPo battery.

I was very impressed overall with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as it is a relatively inexpensive Airsoft Rifle with lots of included bonuses like two magazines, a battery and charger. Even with the low price and bundled add ons it performed really well for me. SO if you are looking for an AK type Airsoft Rifle I would suggest you take a look at the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as an option for sure!

Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft AEG.
Distributer: Cybergun
Model: Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical 60th Anniversary.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 6.82 pounds (3100 grams).
Barrel: 457mm (18 inches)
Total Length: 709-950mm (27.9-37.4 inches).
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Semi, full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 550 rounds.
FPS: 400.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what you will find on most electric switch controlled AEG Airsoft Guns. It has a short to mid length very light take-up with a light release which generally has a bit of a delay as the motor pulls the spring back and release the piston. This delay is shorter with higher voltage batteries as the motor will run quicker allowing for a shorter delay and also a higher rate of fire in full auto mode.

Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to get to that video this week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine so we will find out together when I get to my Indoor Field Test Shooting video in a couple of days.

Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle seems fairly well built. You will find metal parts in the barrel, front and back sights, receiver, charging bolt, bolt cover, rings, trigger and trigger guard. The plastic components would be the folding stock, magazine, RIS hand-guard, fore-grip and pistol grip. Fit and finish seem good and the overall weight is heavy but not too heavy. Internally you get a metal gear box with metal gears so you should expect to have a reliable and long lasting shooting experience with this Airsoft Rifle.

Realism: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure looks the part of a more modern tactical AK47 with the majority of the mechanical parts functioning like a real steel version as in the charging bolt, bolt cover, sector switch, foldable rear stock and of course the magazine release.

Pros:

  • Mostly metal construction with good overall weight and feel.

  • Lots of rail attachment options on RIS rail hand-guard.

  • Adjustable sights, smaller increments on front, easy quick adjustment for elevation at distance on the back.

  • Comes with a folding fore-grip.

  • Rear folding stock helps to shorten up the rifle in transport or for storage.

  • Comes with two high capacity magazines.

  • Comes with a battery and charger.

  • Comes with sling mounts and a basic sling.

  • Super easy access to change out the battery.

  • Easy access to hop-up via charging bolt.

  • FPS should be nice and high, good for long or mid range shooting.

  • Cybergun Kalashnikov licensed, also 60th Anniversary edition.

  • Orange tip should be easy enough to remove.

  • Price point is fairly good for all that you get.

Cons:

  • No simulated blowback action.

  • Sights are only adjustable for elevation.

  • Magazines are plastic, feel a bit cheap and light.

Comments:
The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what I would consider a great value AEG Airsoft Rifle and there are not as many AK style Airsoft Rifles to choose from as there are AR’s so it’s nice to see this one in the lineup. You do get a lot for what you are paying, lots of metal parts externally and internally with a hefty almost 7 pound weight to it. I also like that you get everything you need to get going other than the Airsoft BB’s, so you get the battery and charger along with two 500+ magazines, they even add in a cheap sling just in case you want to throw it over your shoulder!

Which Beretta 92 Airgun is the Best - Updated

Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

Because I show off 4.5mm Steel BB, .177 Caliber Pellet and 6mm Plastic Airsoft versions I decided to pick my favorites form each category. Watch my Vimeo Review Comparison Video so checkout these Air Pistols and see which ones are my favorites…

I Got The Rona

After about 4 years or so of not getting sick at all, I was almost starting to think I was impervious to viruses and colds and flues and then it finally happened… I got the Rona.

Now I am not 100% sure if it is the Rona since I have not been tested yet but all signs indicate it’s probably Omicron. I have ordered some antibody tests that I expect to come in shortly, I will be checking my blood for Covid-19 Antibodies once I know my body has had enough time to make them after getting sick this time.

In this video I talk about my symptoms and how I felt start to finish getting the Rona. I can say at least for me it was not big deal, the soar throat was probably the worst of it for me.

ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun Field Test Review

Took me a while to get to this Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but glad I took a look at it even if it is over 6 years already on the market. As per usual I test out the velocity shooting several ordains through my Chronograph to see what the real world fps is, I then follow this up with an accuracy test shooting 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Also make sure to watch my Table Top Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun for information on the specifications and features along with some nice close up video.

Starting with my Velocity Test I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s clocking in an average of 421 fps. I was very impressed with the consistency of the velocity with the lowest shot being 420 fps and the fastest shot being 422 fps only 2 fps apart! You can change out the spring super easy on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but I feel that the fps out fo the box would be good for most Airsoft games indoor and outdoor.

I then places a brand new paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 rounds at it in semi auto using a seated shooting position rested on a sand bag up front. I was able to get very close to a 1 inch grouping just a tad over an inch. I did not sight in the gun so I was not surprised I was shooting rather low and just a hair to the left, this could be equally corrected by adjusting the rear sight for windage and elevation. I could also play around with the hop-up effecting elevation at different ranges. I then proceeded to shoot take some more shot in both 3 round burst adn full auto modes and as expected the groupings did spread out a bit but not a lot.

I was super impressed with eh performance of the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I don’t think I have seen velocity consistency this good in any other AEG Airsoft gun I have tested so far. Accuracy was also on point even using lighter plastic .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. My only real grip with the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is the limited battery choice since the internal storage ares is very constricted. Other than that this Airsfot Gun is a winner and worth taking a look at if you can get your hands on one.

ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft AEG.
Distributer: ASG.
Model: CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 5.3 pounds (2400 grams).
Barrel: 208mm (8.2 inches)
Total Length: 425-623mm (16.7-24.5 inches).
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Semi, burst, full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 75 rounds.
FPS: 395.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is essentially just an on off electric switch controlled by the ECU. There is very little trigger resistance and the take up is very short allowing for quick semi auto shooting but if you like you can easily select three round burst or full auto shooting for more intense situations.

Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but plan to get to that video next week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine and taken it for a spin yet. I am sure I will not be dissapoitned as this is a very high quality Airsoft Gun with great internals.

Build Quality: I remember at SHOT Show back when ASG introduced the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I was told indirectly that the construction was nearly identical to the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO at least cosmetically as all the internal parts will be specificities to Airsoft. That said this is a very high quality build with the material being for the most part the same as the original with Nylon Fiber PA6 Polymer reenforced plastics and even some CNC machined metal parts as in the outer barrel, flash hidden, barrel nut and even the gear box.

Realism: The ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is a bang on replica in terms of emulating the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO and has our weight and feel including a blot catch that locks back when out of ammo and most working components being ambidextrous.

Pros:

  • Build quality is almost exactly like the real steel version, super high quality materials.

  • Three shooting modes: semi auto, burst mode and full auto.

  • Decent mid capacity 75 round magazine with auto empty detection which locks the bolt catch.

  • Quad rail for lots of add on accessories.

  • Folding and adjustable stock that can also be removed.

  • Adjustable and removable iron sights with fiber optic up front and peep in the back.

  • Working charging handle for easy access to hop-up

  • Working bolt catch.

  • High quality electronic and gear box.

  • Ambidextrous controls for the most part.

  • Scorpion licensed through ASG.

  • Orange tip is fairly discreet.

Cons:

  • Battery compartment is small and hard for quick battery replacement, I recommend using an external setup if possible.

  • Price point is on the higher side but you get what you pay for.

Comments:
On paper and just by looking over and inspecting the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun specs out and I am sure I will be pleased when I test it out in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting Range. That said this hasn’t happened yet so I will leave my final thumbs up until then. I do wish we had them in stock at the time of this video but there are a lot of other great ASG products in our store and of course many more brands of AEG Airsoft Guns. Hopefully we can get something like this in shortly for everyone so keep checking with us.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021-2022

I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year. I celebrate traditional Christmas but you may not or perhaps celebrate something different, whatever you are doing over the holidays I wash you all the best.

This is going to be a tough holiday season for many with everything going on this year and many people are going to be alone or at least feel very alone. I want everyone to remember we all want the same thing at the end of the day no matter what your belief are about the current situation. Please try to be loving with your family and friends even if you have very different views.

At the end of the day we all want life to go back to some sort of normal and so far what we have been doing has not been working. Maybe it's time for some changes to be made...
