Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC Sigma SW40F CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is single action only which generally produces a very light trigger, on the SW40F it is a bit firmer than most single actions but still decent with a short take-up and firm release. You will need to pull the slide back (which also chambers your first round) to cock the internal hammer, after which subsequent shots you will not have to pull the slide back as the blowback action does this for you.
Accuracy: When I shot the KWC Sigma SW40F from 20 feet out in semi rested position I was able to get nice clean results. I placed 10 rounds within about 2 inches with the shot placement being very well centered. The KWC S&W Sigma SW40F seemed to keep the rounds tighter from top to bottom over side to side for me. I also noticed when I field stripped this gun that there is a built in hop-up (rubber bar) that sits inside the barrel, this will produce some back spin which will keep the BB's trajectory a bit flatter when shooting further out and is also probably there to stop BB's from rolling out of the barrel once chambered.
Build Quality: The build quality is about the same as all other KWC guns, tolerances seem tight and everything is working as it should, you will get some wear marks (paint wear) on the high spots over time which is normal on just about any (type of gun, real or air) but what I like about the SW40F is that the barrel is polished and since this is the first area to lose paint, it really does not matter since no paint is on the barrel.
Realism: The KWC Sigma SW40F CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is a replica of the real steel S&W Sigma with the exception of the licensing and it really is a bang on Replica, you can field strip this gun exactly like a real Smith & Wesson Sigma. All the mechanical parts work just the same and I like the fact that without the licensing, this gun is very clean looking with no obtrusive warning instructions on it.
Lots of metal in this gun with very good weight to it.
Very accurate S&W Sigma replica.
Heavy crisp blowback feel.
Predictable single action trigger.
Shots where well centered, got good accuracy.
White dot sights for quick target acquisition.

Just like my Airsoft review of the KWC Sigma SW40F, this blowback Air Pistol was a lot of fun to shoot, with it's super snappy heavy slide and ultra realistic shooting characteristics. It did seem to go through a lot of CO2 very quickly which is not uncommon for this style of full blowback heavy slided airgun, and to be honest I don't really mind since it shot well, felt good in the hand and backs it up with great looks. And heck it's still so much cheaper to shoot than a real 9mm hand gun ;) For those of you looking for something that is similar to a Glock in terms of looks and operation, the KWC Sigma BB or Airsoft pistol may be your only real option here in North America now that the Umarex SA177 is history.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the RG-88 and RG-59 in single action is very light with the RG-59 having virtually no take up at all while the RG-88 has some take up but then a noticeable and predictable release point. Both guns have medium to heavy yet smooth double action triggers.
Accuracy: NA.
Build Quality: The overall build quality for the ROHM RG-88 and RG-59 blank guns is excellent, being German made they are built to last and the fit and finish is very good. There are steel parts where they need to be like in the barrel, pins, screws and reenforcing parts, the rest of the gun is generally made out of a zinc metal with only the grips being plastic.
Realism: The ROHM RG-88 and ROHM RG-59 are not exact replicas of any given guns in production as this would make importing them into Canada even more difficult, but they do share similarities with some real guns in production. The RG-88 semi auto looks to be based around a Walther PPK design while the RG-59 has that Smith & Wesson Snub Nosed Revolver look to it. As for looking like and working like real guns, they do this very well, with the exception of the dangerous bullet coming out of the barrel!
German made quality, materials fit and finish is all excellent.

Nice light single action triggers on both guns with double action ability wehn needed.

As with pretty much all blank guns, they are mostly for show so it all comes down to how do they look and do they go bang when they are supposed to! In both cases they get top marks. Both the RG-88 semi auto and RG-59 revolver feel solid and the mechanical parts are tight and smooth giving a confident feeling when holding them. I like the larger caliber blanks over the .22 crimped blanks as they have a bigger bang but they will set you back in the cost department a bit more as the price for 9mm P.A.K. and .380 blanks will be a lot more than .22 crimped so keep this in mind when choosing a blank gun. If you're looking for a well made and dependable blank pistol then you really can not go wrong with any of the ROHM blank guns we sell in the Canada Replica Airguns Store.

I usually do my Table Top Video Review first but this time around I did my Field Test Video Review first since I was all setup checking out a couple other guns at the time. When I do my detailed Table Top Video Review for the Cybgergun Sig Suer P226, I'll post the link here so stay tuned. If you have not already checked out my Barrel Mod Video for this same gun then check that video out where I remover the extended orange portion of the metal barrel and make the barrel flush with the end of the slide which is how the real steel version was originally made.
Getting back to the Cybergun Sig Sauer P226 GBB blowback Airsoft Pistol field test, as per usual I test this Airsoft semi auto gas blowback pistol on the Chronograph to see what kind of real world velocity I get and since I had some Green Gas on hand, I used it for this part of the review and got an average of 315 fps with a six shot string.
I also stepped back 20 feet and shot 10 times at my stationary target using a semi rested position (sand bag up front and kneeling in the back). Even though the Sig Sauer P226 shot a bit low I did get about a 1.25 inch group with the exception of one flyer that hooked down just a bit making the 10 shot group a bit wider at just under 2 inches. The low shot placement may have been caused by my barrel mod but since I did not do a before and after test, I can not say for sure?

My 5 shot Chronograph test resulted in a lower than expected 308 average fps while my accuracy test shot from 20 feet out in a semi rested position this time received a just over 2 inch group but with most shots being within 1 inch, I have found with Airsoft guns that there can be some floaters perhaps due to inconsistencies with some of the ammo. In terms of shot placement the KJWORKS KP-05 HI-CAPA 1911 shot very well centered only being just slightly high and to the left but only marginally. I was also able to get 2 full magazines plus another half mag this time around so just over 60 shots with the KP-05.
KJWorks KP-05 1911 HI-CAPA Airsoft Pistol although not shooting as hard as I though it would still performed great for me and would make a great field gun as it performs very well and has a nice high capacity magazine which would come in handy in the heat of battle.
My 5 shot Chronograph test resulted in a very respectable 366 average fps while my accuracy test shot from 20 feet out in a semi rested position this time around came in a bit higher than my pre test right at around 2 inches. Several of the shots hit right on top of each other. In terms of shot placement the KJWorks KP-09 CZ 75 shot fairly well centered but just a bit high and a tad to the left. I was also able to again get 3 full magazines or around 75 shots out of this heavy blowback Airsoft pistol.
KJWorks KP-09 CZ 75 Airsoft Pistol really has a lot going for it, it's a great Replica of a real steel CZ 75 with a very nice single action trigger, it has great snappy full blowback with excellent fps and accuracy and it even gets a solid 75 shots out of a single CO2 which is very good for this style of full blowback gun.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWORKS KP-05 is what you would expect from a true 1911 single action only trigger, it has very little take up with a smooth crisp and light release to it.
Accuracy: I shot the KJWORKS KP-05 from 20 feet out in semi rested position and got very good test results. I was able to place 10 rounds in under 1.5 inches and getting four shots right in the bullseye making the shot placement very good even without adjusting the sights (which can be adjusted for windage). The KJWORKS HP-05 1911 styled HI-CAPA Airsoft Replica shot right around 300 fps range while conducting my 5 shot average chrony testing which was surprisingly low for the CO2 magazine version, this may have been a temperature or CO2 related condition, when I conduct my full Field Test Shooting Review, I will review this and see if we can do better? I also got two full 30 round magazines worth of shots which is what you would expect from this style of full heavy blowback airsoft pistol.
Build Quality: I am extremely impressed with the build quality of all the KJWORKS Airsoft guns so far, the fit and finish is the best around on any of my guns including my 4.5mm steel BB shooters. After shooting several magazines worth of BB's, areas that are painted like the metal friction areas show very light wear which is rarely the case with metal built blowback airguns. Again the tolerances between the moving parts like the slide and frame are very tight showing excellent workmanship and machining from KJWORKS.
Realism: The KJWORKS KP-05 6mm Airsoft pistol is a replica of a High Capacity styled tactical 1911 45 Auto and is a great looking and functioning replica. You will not find any actual licensing on this pistol and the CO2 magazine does stick out a bit to accommodate the 12 gram CO2 but other than that this Airsoft pistol looks and works near exactly like a real 1911 tactical semi auto and is fully field strip-able. I really like the updated more tactical add ons like the tactical rail, machined trigger and hammer, white dot adjustable sights, wrap around grips and ambidextrous safety.

The KJWORKS KP-05 1911HI-CAPA is another excellent full blowback Airsoft pistol from KJWORKS. The HP-05 is a classic upgraded more modernized version of the 1911 semi auto pistol which is a great foundation to build any pistol from. I found the CO2 usage to be decent on the KP-05 but felt that I should have been able to get more fps out of this pistol, I will be testing the KJWORKS KP-05 again and hope to see some better results in this area. With that aside, the KP-05 1911 HI-CAPA is a great shooter and as is, with its high capacity magazine would be a perfect sidearm for any Airsoft related squirmish or even just for honing up your shooting skills when getting to the gun range is not an option.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KJWORKS KP-09 CZ 75 Airsoft Replica is surprisingly light in single action but incredibly sticky at first in double action, with that said you really will not be shooting very often in double action unless you happen to de-cock the gun for some reason, at least you have the ability to shoot with the hammer down in double action when required. In signal action it took me a bit to get used to the very light trigger pull as I was letting some shots go off early.
Accuracy: I shot the KJWORKS KP-09 from 20 feet out in semi rested position and got very satisfactory results. I was able to place 10 rounds under 2 inches almost getting a 1 inch group with the exception of one flyer. Shot placement was also well centered but just a bit high which could easily be corrected by adjusting my aim point just a bit down. The KJWORKS CZ 75 Airsoft Replica shot right around the 360 fps range while conducting my 5 shot average chrony testing which is right where this gun is supposed to be. I also got three full 24 round magazines worth of shots with a bit of CO2 left over for a partial mag, so this gun can easily get 75 shots out of a 12 gram CO2 - not bad at all for this style of full heavy blowback airsoft design.

The KP-09 CZ 75 is another wonderful full blowback Airsoft pistol from KJWORKS. The CZ 75 is a classic semi auto pistol and deserves the attention to detail the KJWORKS version demonstrates. I found the CO2 usage to be very good on the KP-09 considering the rather high 360+ fps I was abel to get with it. Top this off with high marks in the accuracy department and you have a real winner here. So if you're looking for a quality Airsoft Replica of the classic CZ 75 that shoots straight and hard and looks and operates just like the real steel version then the KJWORKS KP-09 should just do the trick for you.
Here is my official Field Test Shooting Video Review for my Umarex Walther P38 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. As with my original Table Top Review, I shot pretty close to the manufacturers claimed 400 fps getting a 5 shot average of 392 fps.
And the same can be said with my accuracy pre test, both tests came in just about the same with an approximate 2 inch very well centered grouping shooting at the target from 20 feet out in a semi rested position. I even got 8 of the 10 rounds right in the 1.5 inch bullseye with only two rounds coming just outside. Good thing it was already pre sighted as the sight on the Umarex Walther P38 can not be adjusted. You can also expect to get a good 100 shots from a single CO2. I would also like to point out that even thought he slide is fairly light and the blowback is not full, The P38 still has a nice blowback snap to it.
The only real negative point I can make about the Umarex Walther P38 Replica Air Pistol is the somewhat medium to heavy trigger pull which I found a bit surprising since it has a single action only trigger? This was offset by the fact that The Umarex P38 had such good combined accuracy, power and CO2 efficiency wrapped up in a very believable Walther P38 Replica.
Here is my official Field Test Shooting Video Review for my KWC M1911 Model A1 TAC CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. Interestingly enough, this time around I got a bit lower average feet per second rating from this air gun at right around 290 fps as compared to the pre-test I did during my Table Top Review (shot closer to 310 average fps)? Both days the temperature was about the same and the CO2 used on both occasions was the same brand and where unused. Just goes to show you that these guns sometimes have a mind of their own...
At least the accuracy portion came in just about the same with an approximate 2 inch grouping shooting at the target from 20 feet out in a semi rested position. I did shoot a bit to the left and a bit low which I could adjust from left to right but since there is only a windage adjustment I would have to sight a bit up to hit the bullseye with the KWC M1911 Model A1 TAC. This time around I also got 4 magazine worth of shots as I slowed things down a bit and took my time and juts like last time I had no problems or malfunctions with my KWC M1911 Model A1 TAC.
The best part about shooting the KWC M1911 Model A1 TAC CO2 Air Pistol is it's beautiful single action 1911 styled trigger and nice heavy full blowback action, making this gun a great economical trainer if you own the real steel version or perhaps just want to feel like you do!
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Walther P38 CO2 Blowback BB Replica is a bit heavier than I expected it would be as it is a single action only trigger. There is a lot of take up initially but once you hit the release area, the release point is what I would describe as a medium to heavy pull for a single action shooter. With that said it did not seem to effect the accuracy at all and I was able to rifle off quick shots fairly easily.
Accuracy: I shot the Umarex Walther P38 BB Pistol at a target from 20 feet away in a semi rested position, and it performed very good getting just under a 2 inch grouping and very well centered on the target. The sights are not adjustable so adjusting the Umarex Walther P38 would not be possible except by using a modified aim point! My initial Chrony testing puts this BB shooter just under the 400 claimed fps range right in the 380 area which is not bad considering the rather cold day I was shooting on. I also managed to get five magazines worth of shots which is a vert respectable 100 shots per CO2.
Build Quality: The Umarex Walther P38 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol is almost all metal with the exception of the grips which is great to see! I found the fit and finish to also be very good with a nice Semi Gloss paint job that should wear well over time. Interestingly enough the Umarex Walther P38 has a removable barrel so I am assuming that perhaps Umarex will introduce some more barrel length options at some point?
Realism: The Umarex Walther P38 CO2 Blowback BB Airgun is very close to the real steel Walther P38 and even has the Walther P38 licensing on it. What I was really impressed with was the fact that all the mechanical parts do exactly what they would do on the real gun. On some other guns these parts are merely for show and moulded into the gun. The Blowback action, hidden CO2 screw and recessed barrel all help to make this Walther P38 Replica very believable!
Replicates the real steel version fairly well with all the working parts pretty much doing what they did on the original.
Nice that it has blowback while still gets decent fps and shots per CO2.
The Blowback had more feedback then I thought it would.
Mine seemed to be very well centered on target and got a good tight grouping.

There are few older Classic Airguns out there, especially ones from the World War era! On that topic I would also like to see some old Single Action Army Cowboy Revolvers start to show up in the Replica Airgun market! As I was saying it is nice to see this Classic Walther P38 show up in what seems to be a sea of modern styled airgun replicas. Umarex not only came out with a BB shooting Walther P38, they made it very believable in terms of operation, while maintaining good overall airgun performance. I hope this is a trend that continues in the direction of companies offering more quality airgun replicas of guns from the past.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC M1911 A1 Tac blowback BB Pistol is exactly what you would expect from a true single action 1911 styled pistol. It has a short take up and then a nice light and crisp pull to it. Because of the similar mechanics not only to the trigger but other aspects of this gun, it would make an awesome low cost trainer to be used when your real 1911 can not be.
Accuracy: I shot the KWC M1911 A1 Tac BB gun at a target from 20 feet away in a semi rested position, and it performed well getting a 2 inch grouping just a bit off center of the target. The sights are adjustable for windage so zeroing the KWC M1911 A1 Tac in would not be much of a problem! My initial Chrony testing puts this gun right in the 300-320 fps range which is just fine for this style of heavy full realistic blowback action BB shooter. I also managed to get three very good magazine worth of shots with some extra CO2 left for a potential 4th magazine. If you slow your shooting down and let the gun and CO2 warm up between magazines you can get 4 magazines with this gun for sure.
Build Quality: KWC did a great job with the KWC M1911 A1 Tac. The quality and build characteristics may even be just a bit better than my other KWC/Cybergun blowback air pistols. Everything that should be metal is the same on this as the original, the slide and barrel wiggle are minimal and the finish seems to be wearing fairly well on this KWC airgun. I do expect over time fore some of the finish to wear off on the high points but this can also give the gun some character ;)
Realism: The KWC M1911 A1 Tac BB airgun is as close as you can get to the real steel 1911 A1 45 auto but with an obvious more modern Tactical look to it, the Tactical version has the addition of a: Tac style trigger and hammer, textured grips, ambidextrous safety, adjustable white dot sights, rail for accessories. This gun is nearly all metal with very heavy blowback making it feel real to hold in the hand and shoot.

This is the official Field Shooting Test Video Review for the ASG Bersa BP9CC CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. In this part of the review I test the ASG Bersa BP9CC 4.5mm BB Pistol using my Chronograph to see what the 5 shot feet per second average is using a fully charged CO2 cartridge. Even on this rather cold day, the ASG Bersa BP9CC BB Airgun performed even above the factory claimed 350 fps and was very consistent, within a few fps for each shot averaging 366 fps.
I also take the ASG Bersa BP9CC CO2 Blowback BB Pistol back 20 feet and shoot it at a target using a semi rested position (sand bag up front, kneeling in the back) and shoot 10 rounds into the target getting a not too bad 2 inch grouping with this small short barreled blowback airgun. Near the end of the video I use my high speed slow motion camera setting to capture the blowback in both 400 and 1200 frames per second so you can see for yourself how the blowback action works.
All in all the ASG Bersa BP9CC CO2 Blowback BB Pistol performed very well and had no malfunctions, the accuracy was respectable for an action blowback pistol like this one and the same goes for the fps being that the ASG Bersa has both blowback and a short barrel. I was also very happy with the CO2 efficiency getting close to 120 shots (6 magazines) out of a single 12 gram CO2 cartridge.

In this part of the review I test the HK G36 KV AEG Rifle using my Chronograph to see what the 5 shot feet per second average is using fully charged batteries. I got pretty much right bang on to the factory claimed 450 fps using .20 gram 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's and consistency was within a few fps for each shot.
I also take the Umarex HK G36 KV AEG Blowback (EBB) Airsoft Rifle back 30 feet and shoot it at a target using a semi rested position (sand bag up front, standing in the back) and shoot in both semi auto and full auto, there really was no real difference in accuracy using both selections, I think the built in magnified scope helped out here to get a very tight 1.5 inch group shooting in semi and full auto.
So far out of all my AEG rifles I would have to say the Umarex HK G36 KV (EBB) performed the best getting very consistent and high fps and tight groupings in both semi and full auto even using light weight .20 gram BB's.

In this part of the review I test the Smith & Wesson 357 CO2 Pellet Revolver using my Chronograph to see what the 5 shot feet per second average is using a brand new CO2. I got pretty close to the factory (even a bit over) claimed 425 fps using RWS 7 grain lead pellets on this rather cold day so you can expect better fps on a nice warm summer day.
I also take the Smith & Wesson 357 686 CO2 Pellet Revolver back 30 feet and shoot it at a target using a semi rested position (sand bag up front, standing in the back) and again although I did not get teh same half inch grouping I got in my preliminary testing, I did manage to get a nice tight grouping , keep in mind the Umarex Smith & Wesson 357 is an action shooter but is capable of target pistol like accuracy.
All in all the Umarex Smith & Wesson 357 686 CO2 Pellet Revolver performed very well. That said I was able to get tighter groups and higher fps so expect this Umarex high grade CO2 pistol to perform very well for you.

This is the official Field Test or Shooting Video Review for the G&G Xtreme 45 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol. If you haven't checked out my Table top Video Review for the G&G Xtreme 45, make sure to do so as I have some more photos there and also all the specifications and details including the Pros & Cons for the G&G Xtreme 45.
In this part of the review I test the G&G Xtreme 45 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol using my Chronograph to see what the 5 shot feet per second average is using a mostly brand new CO2. I got pretty close to 400 fps which is not bad considering the very cold day and the fact that I had to reset my Chronograph and missed the most powerful first several shots.
I also take the G&G Xtreme 45 back 30 feet and shoot it at a target using a semi rested position (sand bag up front, standing in the back) and again I was plagued by technical difficulties and had to redo this part of the test as one of my cameras was not working. I did get a nice 2 inch 10 shot grouping the first time around, the second go resulted in a 3 inch 10 shot group which is pretty good for an airsoft pistol using light weight .20 gram BB's at this range.
All in all the G&G Xtreme 45 CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol performed very well for me and considering the fairly low price point and long list of features I would have to say it is good value for the low cost, and it has some pretty nice curb appeal going for it too.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Bolt Airsoft B4A1 is fairly short and light as it is essentially just an on off switch for the internal electronic components. You can shoot this gun very quickly in semi auto mode, and of course in full auto when full auto position is selected. As is with all AEG rifles there is a bit of a delay while the spring is retracted and released, this is not as noticeable in full auto.
Accuracy: I tested the B4A1 Airsoft rifle by putting around 10 rounds into a target from 30 feet with .36 gram Airsoft 6mm BB's while using a semi rested position (sand bag in the front - standing in the rear). I used a non-magnified red dot scope for this test rather than using the built in iron sights. I got very good result in semi auto and even with the recoil making my sights jump around a bit in full auto still stayed well centered on target and got about a 1.5 inch group in both semi and full auto. My chronograph testing with lighter .20 gram BB's resulted in a 421 fps 5 shot average.
Build Quality: The Bolt Airsoft B4A1 Metal AEG Carbine is very well made with a full Metal upper and lower receiver, along with metal and polymer parts exactly where they would be on the real steel version of an actual Colt M4. The only plastic or nylon components are the stocks and the grips and perhaps some internal parts. I found the adjustable stock and magazine tolerance to be tighter than my King Arms M4A1 I previously reviewed which showed the Bolt B4A1 had a bit higher quality in the workmanship, for the most part the fit and finish was very good!
Realism: As with many Airsoft guns, there is great attention to realism and the Bolt Airsoft BRSS B4A1 Carbine is another great example of an Airsoft Carbine based on the Colt M4 platform. It is an AEG but because of the BRSS (Bolt Recoil Shock System) you get a very nice compromise between a conventional AEG and a GBB (Gas Blow Back Airsoft) gun. In other words, like a standard AEG I get that endless stream of consistent BB's flying down range on target but unlike a true Gas Blow Back Airsoft gun, I don't get that drop off in power and limitation to about 30 usable rounds per magazine . What I do get similar to a GBB is that recoil action that helps make the shooting experience so much more believable! Even the sound from the Bolt B4A1 is much snapper than a standard AEG and more like a GBB. I also like the fact that the charging handle and forward assist work similarly to a real M4 and also the dust cover cleverly exposes the bolt and internal hop-up for easy adjustment along with the bolt cycling just like a GBB rifle would cycle which is similar to a real steel M4.

The Bolt Airsoft B4A1 Blowback Airsoft Carbine is a great compromise for the avid Airsofter looking for a practical skirmish weapon, but also craving the realistic experience of having blowback with recoil which up until now was really only provided by Gas Blow Back systems. I really like this concept and find it great fun to shoot even if its just for plinking in the yard. The overall quality is very good and you just have to love the M4 platform it's based on. If you're into customizing you can mix and match many external and internal parts with other existing Airsoft mechanical parts and I would imagine real steel accessories. I like mine as is with my addition of a riser and Red Dot and if I every get a chance to get out for a skirmish this will be my weapon of choice for sure!
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG/KWC MP9 A3 is single action only as the charging handle has to be pulled back to open and release the bolt for the first shot. There is a trigger safety but it is not noticeable when shooting this Airsoft machine gun. There is a short take-up and then a light release and short reset.
Accuracy: Right away I put my NcSTAR 1x25 Red Dot sight on the ASG/KWC MP9 A3 as it was a perfect fit for this small and compact machine pistol, it did not take long to sight it in and I was able to get decent accuracy in both semi auto and full auto burst due to the mild but very fast cycle rate. I was able to get a 2 inch grouping at 30 feet out using a rested position. In full auto mode the grouping did not really get too much wider. I also got between 350 and 370 fps when testing the ASG MP9 on my Chronograph.
Build Quality: The ASG/KWC MP9 A3 Airsoft Machine Pistol is built very well, using similar components that you would find on the real steel version so yes it has a plastic shell but that is to be expected. The ASG/KWC MP9 A3 does use lots of metal where it needs to be like in the internal parts, pins, bolt, barrel, rails and even the magazine. The fit and finish is near perfect!
Realism: I have to say the ASG/KWC MP9 A3 is pretty much a bang on copy of the real steel Brügger & Thomet MP9 A3. The only telltale sign is the ASG branding on the right side along with the 6mm caliber beside the ASG logo. One other small detail is the magazine which is metal on the Airsoft version where as you would find the real version uses a transparent polymer magazine.
Rate of fire is very fast and does not slow down much even when the gas is running low.
Good overall power for a short barreled gas blowback gun.
Very nice trigger with working trigger safety.
Excellent replica of the real steel version in just about every way.
Can add a lot of gear and make this gun your own.
Decent price for all you get out of the ASG MP9!

I really like the ASG/KWC MP9 A3! I love the look, I love the features and the price is also really good for what you are getting. I was really impressed with the super high cycle rate and because of the small low weight bolt the gun does not move around too much or slow down in rounds per minute even when you do a full mag dump. There is however just enough blowback recoil to give you that GBB realistic feel! I also found that the magazine holds a lot of gas so it is possible to get two magazine worth of shots out of a single fill, that's around 100 shots. I also like how easy it is to add to the ASG/KWC MP9 A3, I had mine pimped out and looking amazing right away and suggest if you get one you do the same :)

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Bruni ME Ranger Colt 45 Single Action Army Revolver is very light as it is a single action revolver and most of the effort is done by pre-cocking the hammer. All you are doing is releasing the hammer which with the ME Ranger is nice and light with next to no creep.
Accuracy: NA.
Build Quality: The overall build quality of the Bruni ME Ranger is nice an believable. It has good weight to it and the finish is not perfect but you would not expect and Single Action Army styled revolver to be perfect. All the mechanical parts felt tight and functioned perfectly for me.
Realism: The Bruni ME Ranger Blank Revolver is a pretty decent replica of a real Colt 45 Single Action Army Revolver in terms of size, weight and most general appearances. It does lack the 45 caliber larger more open Cylinder holes as it is chambered in .380 caliber but you can only see this when looking from the forward position of the ME Ranger. My version also had the plugged barrel so all flame and gasses emit from between the cylinder and the back of the barrel, it would be nice to un-plug this barrel so some of the gasses and flame would come out the front of the barrel.

As my first replica Old West Single Action Blank Revolver, it is a nice addition to my collection. It would make an awesome prop for any cowboy or cowgirl costume, maybe I can convince my wife to go as a cowgirl this year for halloween ;) Overall I really like the Bruni ME Ranger and I plan to perhaps open the barrel up so that I get a more realistic shooting experience with flames and smoke coming out the front of the barrel. That and perhaps some work on the grips to give them a more rugged and weathered look.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the WE G39C is about what you would expect from a Single action only Semi Auto rifle, it has a very slight take up and then about a 4 pound trigger pull that is crisp and smooth.
Accuracy: Out of the Box the WE G39C shot great up close and farther out, the hop-up seemed to be already dialed in, and even though I was using only .20 gram BB's which is a bit light for this gun, I still found they tracked well and stayed on target both near and far. My 30 foot semi rested testing produced a nice 2 inch grouping. Shooting the barrel out on the tactical range I did have to aim just a bit higher when back out at 60 or more feet away. Maybe a slight bit more hop-up would do the trick.
Build Quality: The WE G39C is very well made, yes it has lots of polymer but so does the real version and the plastic seems very durable, The fit and finish looked great and there is a lot of metal in and around the G39C where it would be on the real steel gun and where it is really required to be. Like the trigger, flash hider, rails, pins, switches, rear sight, magazine and most internal parts also.
Realism: I bet if you had the real G36C sitting beside the WE G39C you would be hard pressed to tell them apart? WE did a great job making this Airsoft version very believable not just in appearance but also when field stripping it and shooting it with it's heavy bolt and felt blowback recoil.

So far I have been impressed with We an Airsoft company, they really know how to make very realistic and high quality products. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the mostly polymer external build on this gun but the sheer quality and solid build took away any ideas that tis Airsoft gun would be anything like a toy. The WE G39C is one of the best performing GBB Airsoft guns I have tried out getting up to 90 shots per gas fill on a magazine which is very impressive. We was also able to keep the price down which means more people can get into one of the G39C's. If you've been thinking about adding one of these to your arsenal I don't see any reason why not to!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Real Action Paintball RAP4 X50 is rather nice in single action, being a true blowback gun, the cycling of the slide not only chambers a round but also pre-cocks the hammer allowing for a very smooth and light single action trigger pull. There is also a working de-cocker that allows you to release the internal hammer. Double action is noticeably heavier but would only really be used on the first shot if you had already used the de-cocker.
Accuracy: After my previous review of the RAM X50 I was expecting this gun to perform pretty much the same. I did find it to be a bit more accurate within the 20-25 foot range using the rubber balls but when I got out into the field and switched over to the Paintballs I found that they where really hooking and darting all over the place? Mind you, this gun was right out of the box and not broken in yet. I also got a bit lower fps (right around 250) out of the RAP4 RAM Walther P99 compared to my RAM X50 but again my review unit had not been adjusted in any way and I imagine I could turn it up a bit to get more fps out of it if I wante to. The plus side is I was able to get an astounding 8 magazines worth of shots out of one CO2.
Build Quality: The RAP4 RAM Walther P99 styled Paintball Pistol is built very well, it does have a polymer frame but the gun overall has lots of metal parts and a very good overall 2 pounds weight to it dry. The blowback action is very snappy and all the mechanics and fit and finish all look and function very nicely. The slide spring is nice and firm giving this paintball gun a snappy recoil and the feel closer to a real gun than that of an airgun.
Realism: The RAP4 RAM Walther P99 was primarily made to simulate real word shooting environments for Police and Military users and even includes Walther branding and licensing, it is a very believable looking and functioning copy of the real steel semi auto pistol it replicates. Other than the exception of the CO2 Cylinder hanging a bit far out of the bottom of the handle. The RAM P99 would be hard to tell from the actual Walther P99, especially when looking down the large .43 caliber barrel. The Blowback action and firm recoil help pull off the believability when shooting this ralistic Paintball Pistol.

This was my second time testing a RAP4 RAM product and again I took the chance to use it as it was intended to be used - in the field going through simulated tactical situations. My targets where barrels this time but they could have been other people with similar paintball guns shooting back at me which would have put even more pressure on me and forced me to really see where my mistakes are being made. That's the whole point of this type of training airgun, make it as real as it can be without your actual life being in danger so that when you are in danger you will not have to think about what you are doing but simply react based on your previous training. I think anyone who is a gun owner wanting to improve their reactive shooting skills should invest in one of these Paintball guns. One day you may thank yourself but let's hope it does not come to that!
