Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft AEG.
Distributer: Cybergun
Model: Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical 60th Anniversary.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 6.82 pounds (3100 grams).
Barrel: 457mm (18 inches)
Total Length: 709-950mm (27.9-37.4 inches).
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Semi, full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 550 rounds.
FPS: 400.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what you will find on most electric switch controlled AEG Airsoft Guns. It has a short to mid length very light take-up with a light release which generally has a bit of a delay as the motor pulls the spring back and release the piston. This delay is shorter with higher voltage batteries as the motor will run quicker allowing for a shorter delay and also a higher rate of fire in full auto mode.

Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to get to that video this week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine so we will find out together when I get to my Indoor Field Test Shooting video in a couple of days.

Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle seems fairly well built. You will find metal parts in the barrel, front and back sights, receiver, charging bolt, bolt cover, rings, trigger and trigger guard. The plastic components would be the folding stock, magazine, RIS hand-guard, fore-grip and pistol grip. Fit and finish seem good and the overall weight is heavy but not too heavy. Internally you get a metal gear box with metal gears so you should expect to have a reliable and long lasting shooting experience with this Airsoft Rifle.

Realism: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure looks the part of a more modern tactical AK47 with the majority of the mechanical parts functioning like a real steel version as in the charging bolt, bolt cover, sector switch, foldable rear stock and of course the magazine release.

Pros:

  • Mostly metal construction with good overall weight and feel.

  • Lots of rail attachment options on RIS rail hand-guard.

  • Adjustable sights, smaller increments on front, easy quick adjustment for elevation at distance on the back.

  • Comes with a folding fore-grip.

  • Rear folding stock helps to shorten up the rifle in transport or for storage.

  • Comes with two high capacity magazines.

  • Comes with a battery and charger.

  • Comes with sling mounts and a basic sling.

  • Super easy access to change out the battery.

  • Easy access to hop-up via charging bolt.

  • FPS should be nice and high, good for long or mid range shooting.

  • Cybergun Kalashnikov licensed, also 60th Anniversary edition.

  • Orange tip should be easy enough to remove.

  • Price point is fairly good for all that you get.

Cons:

  • No simulated blowback action.

  • Sights are only adjustable for elevation.

  • Magazines are plastic, feel a bit cheap and light.

Comments:
The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what I would consider a great value AEG Airsoft Rifle and there are not as many AK style Airsoft Rifles to choose from as there are AR’s so it’s nice to see this one in the lineup. You do get a lot for what you are paying, lots of metal parts externally and internally with a hefty almost 7 pound weight to it. I also like that you get everything you need to get going other than the Airsoft BB’s, so you get the battery and charger along with two 500+ magazines, they even add in a cheap sling just in case you want to throw it over your shoulder!

ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun Field Test Review

Took me a while to get to this Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but glad I took a look at it even if it is over 6 years already on the market. As per usual I test out the velocity shooting several ordains through my Chronograph to see what the real world fps is, I then follow this up with an accuracy test shooting 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Also make sure to watch my Table Top Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun for information on the specifications and features along with some nice close up video.

Starting with my Velocity Test I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s clocking in an average of 421 fps. I was very impressed with the consistency of the velocity with the lowest shot being 420 fps and the fastest shot being 422 fps only 2 fps apart! You can change out the spring super easy on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but I feel that the fps out fo the box would be good for most Airsoft games indoor and outdoor.

I then places a brand new paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 rounds at it in semi auto using a seated shooting position rested on a sand bag up front. I was able to get very close to a 1 inch grouping just a tad over an inch. I did not sight in the gun so I was not surprised I was shooting rather low and just a hair to the left, this could be equally corrected by adjusting the rear sight for windage and elevation. I could also play around with the hop-up effecting elevation at different ranges. I then proceeded to shoot take some more shot in both 3 round burst adn full auto modes and as expected the groupings did spread out a bit but not a lot.

I was super impressed with eh performance of the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I don’t think I have seen velocity consistency this good in any other AEG Airsoft gun I have tested so far. Accuracy was also on point even using lighter plastic .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. My only real grip with the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is the limited battery choice since the internal storage ares is very constricted. Other than that this Airsfot Gun is a winner and worth taking a look at if you can get your hands on one.

ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft AEG.
Distributer: ASG.
Model: CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1.
Materials: Metal and polymer build.
Weight: 5.3 pounds (2400 grams).
Barrel: 208mm (8.2 inches)
Total Length: 425-623mm (16.7-24.5 inches).
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Semi, burst, full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: 75 rounds.
FPS: 395.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is essentially just an on off electric switch controlled by the ECU. There is very little trigger resistance and the take up is very short allowing for quick semi auto shooting but if you like you can easily select three round burst or full auto shooting for more intense situations.

Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but plan to get to that video next week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine and taken it for a spin yet. I am sure I will not be dissapoitned as this is a very high quality Airsoft Gun with great internals.

Build Quality: I remember at SHOT Show back when ASG introduced the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I was told indirectly that the construction was nearly identical to the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO at least cosmetically as all the internal parts will be specificities to Airsoft. That said this is a very high quality build with the material being for the most part the same as the original with Nylon Fiber PA6 Polymer reenforced plastics and even some CNC machined metal parts as in the outer barrel, flash hidden, barrel nut and even the gear box.

Realism: The ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is a bang on replica in terms of emulating the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO and has our weight and feel including a blot catch that locks back when out of ammo and most working components being ambidextrous.

Pros:

  • Build quality is almost exactly like the real steel version, super high quality materials.

  • Three shooting modes: semi auto, burst mode and full auto.

  • Decent mid capacity 75 round magazine with auto empty detection which locks the bolt catch.

  • Quad rail for lots of add on accessories.

  • Folding and adjustable stock that can also be removed.

  • Adjustable and removable iron sights with fiber optic up front and peep in the back.

  • Working charging handle for easy access to hop-up

  • Working bolt catch.

  • High quality electronic and gear box.

  • Ambidextrous controls for the most part.

  • Scorpion licensed through ASG.

  • Orange tip is fairly discreet.

Cons:

  • Battery compartment is small and hard for quick battery replacement, I recommend using an external setup if possible.

  • Price point is on the higher side but you get what you pay for.

Comments:
On paper and just by looking over and inspecting the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun specs out and I am sure I will be pleased when I test it out in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting Range. That said this hasn’t happened yet so I will leave my final thumbs up until then. I do wish we had them in stock at the time of this video but there are a lot of other great ASG products in our store and of course many more brands of AEG Airsoft Guns. Hopefully we can get something like this in shortly for everyone so keep checking with us.

ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video I perform my usual Chronograph and Accuracy tests in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sea Can Shooting Range to find out what the actual feet per second velocity is and how accurate the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is in both semi auto and full auto. Watch my Table Top Video if you are looking for more info on Specifications and Details along with a full tear down of the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle.

First up I place 6 rounds through my Chronograph to see what the real world velocity is and the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle was able to average 391 fps using .25 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s. ICS claims the ICS CPX-APE SF1 is capable of fps up to 460 fps but this would be using lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s which I believe is entirely possible!

ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle Right Side Angle.png

Next I put a fresh paper target on my metal backstop 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 round in semi auto to see how tight of a grouping I could get. I was happy to see that 7 of my 10 rounds all grouped nicely within the 1.5 inch bullseye and only 3 came out just slightly increasing the grouping to around 2 inches but still closer to 1.5 inches. When I switched over to full auto and emptied the 300 round magazine into the target, amazingly the grouping still seemed to stay pretty close to 2 inches in diameter with some stragglers. The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle punched a satisfying hole in my target going through several layers of cardboard.

As you can see in this YouTube Field Test Shooting Video the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle performed very well for me living up to its pristine price point. You will pay top dollar for the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle but will also get top quality with a ton fo features including an almost all metal/aluminum build, ambidextrous controls throughout, tons of add on capabilities using the 5 sided Keymod hand-gurd, fully adjustable folding stock and exceptional performance.

ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: AEG EBB Airsoft.
Manufacturer: ICS
Model: CPX-APE SF1
Materials: Mostly Metal/Aluminum.
Weight: 6.4 pounds (2900 grams).
Length: 25.2 inches folded / 32.5-36.2 unfolded.
Hop-up: Yes adjustable.
Propulsion: AEG EBB (Electric Blowback).
Action: Semi & Full Auto single action only electric trigger.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 300 rounds.
FPS: 460 fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is pretty much like most AEG Electric trigger operated Airsoft Rifles. Usually mid range, light and with no real noticeable release point since it is an electric on and on switch at the end of the day and not really mechanical. Of course you can elect between semi and full auto operation at will.

Accuracy: I have not done my actual Field Test Shooting video review for the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to tackle this video next on my list so this week for sure, stay posted of this one as I have not Field Tested any ICS Airsoft Rifles to date and really don’t know what to expect!

Build Quality: The G&G ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is extremely well made as the price tag would suggest. You are going to find metal almost everywhere on this product including the all aluminum upper receiver. The only plastic I could find on the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle was in the magazine and the folding butt stock. Everything else is metal/aluminum including the upper and lowe receivers, the sights, the rails and all of the controls. Fit and finish feels great as-well!

Realism: The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is not a replica so to speak of any one particular gun in production but does have some AR and perhaps SCAR attributes to it. Perhaps there needs to be a real steel version of this gun as it does combine a bit of the best of a both platforms. The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is sold for sure with great weigth and feel to it being that it is mostly metal. All the controls work exactly like you would expect on a the real powder burner and you can totally take this Airsoft rifle apart in just a minute or two with virtually no tools.

Available in the: Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • Mostly metal construction with full aluminum upper receiver.

  • Tons of rail attachment options with the 5 sided Keymod rail hand-guard.

  • Fully adjustable pop-up iron sights.

  • Most everything is ambidextrous: Selector switch, Magazine release, Charging handle, Sling mount.

  • Rear folding stock has tons of positions, 6 in length and 5 for cheek rest.

  • Super easy access to everything, hop-up, gear box, inner barrel, outer barrel.

  • Electric blowback system for slight recoil effect.

  • T-window in magazine for quick ammunition checks.

  • FPS is nice and high, great for longer range shooting.

Cons:

  • On the expensive side but very high quality.

  • Limited battery options as space for a battery is tight.

  • May have a bit too high of fps for closer quarter indoor Airsoft games.

Comments:

The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is not an inexpensive product and may be a bit out of touch for Airsofters on a tighter budget. That said it is really well thought out and well built Airsoft product that is ready to go with no real upgrading required. You may want to show on an optical or red dot sigh, perhaps a tac light or fore grip? Nothing you need right away. There really isn’t one thing I can point out that makes this gun so great, it is a combination of everything. when it comes down to it the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle kind of has it all going for it. I am looking forward to seeing just how well it performs during my Indoor Field Test. I have high hopes!

Crosman AK1 - G&G SMC9 - ICS CXP APE Update Preview Unboxing Video

I am super excite to showcase three awesome rifles in this Update Preview Unboxing Video. Two of which are Airsoft and one is a Steel BB shooter, all of which are semi and full auto selectable. In this video I do a bit of an unboxing and preview of each Rifle not going into too much detail as I want to leave most of the information for my Table Top and Filed Test Videos. The main purpose of this video is to let everyone know we have these Rifles in our Canada Replica Airguns Store now for sale.

I may as well talk about them in the order they appear in my video so lets start with the ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle. The ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle is a mostly metal Electric Airsoft Rifle with realistic electronic blowback operation along with a CNC machined aluminum upper and lower receiver. It comes with a hi-cap 300 round magazine and a Ver 2 Full Metal ICS Split Type Gearbox. The ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle weighs in at just under 3kg.

Next I showcase the G&G SMC9 GBB Airsoft Carbine, a unique product that converts the G&G GTP9 pistol into a a semi and full auto Carbine and includes a 50 round extended magazine, there is an even higher capacity drum magazine made for this product! You will find a fold out stock along with a CNC Machined MLOK Rail for additional mounting options.

Last but perhaps one that I have been the most eagerly anticipating is the Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle a twin CO2 Blowback 4.5mm Semi and Full auto AK style BB Rifle, finally a decent AK BB Rifle! The Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle has a claimed fps of 430 and shoots 1400 rounds per minute in full auto, very similar to the Crosman DPMS series of AR styled CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Rifles. The Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle comes with a 25 round magazine and swing out rear adjustable stock.

Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Velocity and Accuracy of the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle by first placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph and recording the feet per second for each shot and then averaging them out. For the second portion of my Indoor Shooting Performance Test I setup a paper target 30 feet down range followed by shoot 10 rounds back to back to see what the spread or grouping size is. I followed this up with a nice long full auto burst just for fun to see if the grouping still remains nice and tight.

For my Velocity test I used .25 grain Plastic Airsoft BB’s rather than the normally tested .20 in the claimed fps of over 366 fps so I was expecting to get a little bit lower velocity results. I did manage to average right around 304 fps with all shots fairly consistently with the slowest being 302 fps and the fastest hitting 305 fps.

I then setup my brand new paper target and using a rested and seated shooting position from 30 feet back I placed my first 10 rounds into the target. The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle did shoot a little bit low close to the bottom of the rings but not as low as when I tested the Heckler & Koch HK416C version, I am sure some hop-up adjustment will get this closer to the mark. I did mange to get a really tight 10 round grouping of close to half an inch with most of the BB’s hitting one o top of the other I would ahed to say this is the best 30 foot accuracy results I have gotten from any Airsoft rifle to date! Full auto was as predicted, lots of fun with a nice hole in the paper/cardboard leaving about a 2 inch opening.

The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performed really well for me and as already mentioned is crazy accurate. It had a slightly lower fps than the Heckler & Koch HK416C version which was a bit of a surprise but at 304 fps using .25 gram Airsoft BB’s this is about perfect for close quarters shooting adn even out to medium distances. Make sure not checkout all of our Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch over in the Replica Airguns Canada Online Store.

Make sure to also checkout my Table Top Review for the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle where I talk about specifications and features and show it off nice and close.

Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

In this Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Velocity and Accuracy of the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle by first placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph and recording the feet per second of each shot then averaging them out. For the second portion of my Indoor Shooting Performance Test I setup a paper target 30 feet away and then shoot 10 rounds back to back to see what the spread or grouping size is. I follow this up with a full auto burst just for fun to see if the grouping still remains nice and tight.

For my Velocity test I used .25 grain Plastic Airsoft BB’s rather than the .20 in the claimed fps over 366 fps so I was expecting to get a little bit slower results. I did manage to average right around 325.5 fps with all shots consistently hitting either 325 or 326 fps so super consistent.

I then setup my brand new paper target and using a rested and seated shooting position from 30 feet back I placed my first 10 rounds into the target. This is when I discovered the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle liked to shoot fairly low even when using the raised elevation option on the rear sight. Because of this I had to aim a little bit higher on the paper target to place shoots more centered. Once I figure out my aim point I did mange to get a fairly tight 10 round grouping of close to an inch with a couple of stagers pushing it out to 2 inches. Full auto was as predicted, lots of fun with a nice hole in the paper/cardboard leaving about a 3.5 inch opening.

The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performed well for me once I figured out that it liked to shoot rather low. I would suggest placing a bit of a spacer or riser under the rear sight to bring up the barrel at least for closer in shots where hop-up may not ark the Airsoft BB enough at that point. Other than that the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle had super consistent performance in terms of both FPS and accuracy.

Make sure to also checkout my Table Top Review for the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle where I talk about specifications and features and show it off nice and close.

Accuracy: At this time I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video or even shot the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle, but plan to make my Field Test Shooting Video shortly. Build Quality: The Build quality on the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle looks to be really good, there are lots of quality metal parts throughout this Airsoft Rifle including the top and bottom receiver, rails, parts of the sights, flash hider, magazine, charging handle, selector switch, magazine release, forward assist, dust cover, buffet tube and trigger. Comments:

The Umarex VFC H&K AEG Airsoft product line is going to be on the higher end of the price spectrum for sure but you are getting a really quality product here fully H&K licensed. The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle is perhaps one of my favorites as I like more simplistic and minimalist styles of guns and this one for sure fits into that category. Even though it is small in nature it is super solid and heavier then it looks for sure when you pick it up with all the metal parts making up its build quality. I look forward to seeing how well the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performs in my upcoming Field Test Shooting Video.

In this video I show you four Premium AEG Airsoft Rifles made by VFC and distributed and H&K Licensed by Umarex. This is not a detailed review but rather I focus on the basic specification and show my reaction as I take my first look at all four Umarex H&K AEG Airsoft Rifles. I do show off some close up photos so you can get an idea on the finish and what some of the components look like.

Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge Field Test Review

For this Field Test Shooting Video I put the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and Specna Arms RRA SA-E10 Edge head to head to see just how they will compare in terms of FPS and Accuracy at least out to 30 feet. If you want to know more about each of these AEG Specna Arms Airsoft Rifles then checkout my Table Top Review where I show them up nice and close and also talk about their specifications and how they both compare to each other.

For my Chronograph test, I decided to go with .25 gram Airsoft BB’s, a little bit heavier than what was used for the claimed FPS of around 380 using the M120 spring which by the way is preinstalled in these guns for import into Canada. Both the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge shot pretty similar with the C10 Core averaging right around 300 FPS and the E10 Edge shooting a little bit faster with 318 FPS. Throw some lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s into the mix and these numbers would go up for sure. I was using the same 11.1 volt Li-Po battery for all of my testing in this video.

Next I placed a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange and placed 10 semi auto rounds into it using a seated and rested shooting position. Both Specna Arms AEG Airsoft Rifles shot about a 1 inch grouping. I did find with both of these Specna Arms rifles that when using the peep sight they shot too low and when using the top notch sight they shot too high at least at this distance. Of course the sights are fully adjustable so this can easily be taken care of and you can adjust the hop-up for even more elevation considerations. After my 10 shot semi auto test I placed both Specna Arms Airsoft rifles in Full Auto and let the paper have it! As expected the groupings did spread out a little bit but not all that much, perhaps opening up to around 3-4 inches.

After testing both the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge AEG Airsoft Rifles side by side you really can’t go wrong with either version as they performed very similarly on the Chronograph and on Target. If you can afford to pay the little bit more than I would go with an Edge Series Specna Arms product since you do get a lot of extras for the little bit more you pay. Well worth it!

Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge Table Top Review

Type: AEG Airsoft Rifles
Manufacturer: Specna Arms.
Model: RRA SA-C10 / RRA SA-E10
Materials: Fiberglass reenforced plastic and metal/aluminum.
Weight: C10 4.9 pounds ( 2.2 kg) - E10 5.1 pounds (2.3 kg).
Total Length: 21.7 - 25.2 inches (550 - 640mm).
Barrel: 6.7 inch (170mm) inner 6.03mm tight bore barrel non rifled.
Propulsion: AEG.
Action: Single action semi & full auto.
Ammunition Type: .6mm plastic Airsoft BB’s.
Ammunition Capacity: Mid cap 120 round magazines.
FPS: 375 - 390 fps with installed spring, included M90 spring will be lower fps.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on both of the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge AEG Airsoft Rifles is similar to a light single action trigger as they are essentially an electrical on off switch. There is a little bit of take up with virtually no extra friction to let you know when the release is going to be, with a bit of use you will figure out exactly when the trigger will release the action.

Accuracy: At this time I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video or even shot the Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge AEG Airsoft Rifles, but plan to very soon. They are next on my list for Filed Test Shooting Videos so stay posted for that video coming out soon. I do expect them to perform well and will be shooting both of these models side by side to see if there is any noticeable difference between the lower cost Core versus the slightly more premium Edge Specna Arms versions.

Build Quality: One thing I can say is no matter which version of the Specna Arms AEG Air Rifles you deicide to go with (either a Core or Edge Series), you are getting extremely good value for your money and neither one is going to have any low quality parts in it. Even the lower cost Core Series will have fiber glass reenforced plastic and metal parts along with a metal gearbox and virtually almost the same build as the more premium and slightly higher priced Edge Series. You will get upgrades in the Edge Series such as a an aluminum receiver and buffer tube, a GATE X-ASR Mosfet, the New Orion Gearbox, deep laser engraved licensing and an additional magazine. All of this for the little bit more you pay for an Edge series Specna Arms AEG Airsoft rifle.

Realism: The Specna Arms RRA SA-C10 Core and E10 Edge AEG Airsoft Rifles are based on the AR15 or M16 platform of course in a very modern and PDW styled look. They look and feel the part for sure with lots of working parts including the safety, selector switch, charging handle, dust cover, adjustable rear stock, pop-up front and rear sights as you would expect. Most of the hardware should be interchangeable with a real steel AR if you want to personalize the look of your Specna Arms Rifle.

Pros:

  • Super affordable yet very high quality product for what you pay.

  • Two options to consider, both with good price points and value.

  • Quality components throughout both the Core and Edge series.

  • Rock River Arms Licensed with hologram on receiver.

  • ESA™ quick spring change system makes spring changes quick and easy.

  • Comes with two springs for potential indoor and outdoor usage.

  • Plastic parts are fiberglass reenforced making them very durable.

  • Quick release fully adjustable pop-up sights.

  • No orange tips on our Canada Store versions.

  • Lots of rial mounting options even on such short PDW styled AR’s.

  • Metal gearboxes with metal gears and mostly all metal parts inside.

  • Easy access to motor for any possible trouble shooting you may need to do.

Cons:

  • Popup sights are mostly plastic..

  • Need to hold back charging handle to access the hop-up wheel.

Comments:

Value for your money is what comes to mind when I think about the entire Specna Ams AEG Airsoft Riffle product line. And this goes for not only the lower priced Core Series but also the premium Edge Series. Both version are built supper tuff with quality components throughout. You are just getting upgrades you are probably going to do at some point in time with the Edge Series and of course more metal components when you spend about $100 more for a similar Edge version. I figure if you can muster up the extra cash then go with an Edge Specna Arms AEG Airsoft Rifle, that said, any of the Core models will be money well spent.

Make sure not also watch my previous Specna Arms YouTube Video where I introduce the product line, show you around several models and talk about the key differences between the Core and Edge versions.

ASG SHOT Show 2020 Las Vegas Interview

ASG+Logo+White.jpg

Unfortunately the microphone system I was using for some reason did not record the Lapel Microphones we where record the audio with for this ASG SHOT Show 2020 Interview Video. The Camera we where recording video with did record audio but as there is so much back ground noise going on at large show like this, the audio is far from good. That all said try do you your best to listen to what we are discussing. There are sections where the audio is fairly distinguishable and sections in the video that are not due the proximity of the camera.

Bob from ASG and I go over serval products for ASG at SHOT Show 2020 this year. We first take a look at the new ASG Shadow 2 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. One interesting fact about the new ASG Shadow 2 is that it has an internal Hop-up system that help BB’s travel further out for longer range shooting. The ASG Shadow 2 also has a fully adjustable rear sight making this Blowback CO2 BB Airgun a potentially pretty decent target pistol.

Another new product from ASG we focused on is the Airsoft ASG B&T Universal Service Weapon designed for first responder situations. The ASG B&T USW has an extended rear frame allowing for a non-recipricating red dot sight placement. The ASG B&T Universal Service Weapon has a built in folding stock and you can trick it out with all kinds of add ons to make it your own.

Near the end of the video we took a look at some new ICS Airsoft offerings from ASG.

Umarex SHOT Show 2020 Las Vegas Interview

This year at SHOT Show 2020 Mark from Umarex had a nice variety of new product to go over with us. Mark first went over the new CO2 Blowback Pellet firing Glock 17 which has a similar magazine and loading system as the Umarex SA10 Pellet Pistol.

We then took a look at another Glock replica, the Glock 18C Full Auto GBB Airsoft pistol with extended magazine, this one is sure to be a lot of fun with its selectable full auto feature and high capacity magazine. Perfect for hammering targets downrange or used as a very capable backup Airsoft pistol in the field.

Probably one of my favorites at the Umarex Booth this year was the Umarex Thompson M1A1 Legends Series CO2 Blowback Machine Gun. And yes it’s full auto capable along with blowback operation and a full size drop metal magazine that holds the CO2 and Steel BB’s. A nice addition to the Legends series of Pistols and Rifles.

Something really different this year for Umarex are the AirJavelin and AirSaber, two arrow firing rifles, the AirJavelin is CO2 powered and more tactical looking but still has more than enough power to shoot medium sized game, great for pest control while the bigger and (480 fps 178 foot pound) more powerful AirSaber is PCP powered and can be used for larger game like deer and wild bore. And it even looks like we will be selling these Arrow firing rifles in our Canada Replica Airguns Store with no PAL firearms license required!

Sig Sauer SHOT Show 2020 Las Vegas Interview

This year Sig Sauer was showcasing their Airsoft Pistols with a new line called the Proforce series geared towards high end training. Sig has also included new Reflex Red Dot Sights that can be ordered already on the gun or as an add on accessory. The Proforce Pistol line includes both the M17 and M18 series Sig Sauer pistols.

Last year at SHOT Show 2019 Sig had introduced their Virtus .22 Caliber PCP Semi Auto Rifle but it was not ready at that time. Well now the Sig Sauer Virtus is ready to ship and yours truly will be getting one of these bad boys for review! Since the .22 caliber PCP Sig Sauer Virtus shoots around 700 fps with a 12 foot pound energy level you will need a PAL firearms license if you live in Canada but the Sig Sauer Virtus is a considered a “long gun” so no registration will be required in Canada.

Watch my Sig Sauer SHOT Show 2020 Las Vegas Interview for more info and cool stuff presented by Stephanie from Sig Sauer.

KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 & 3 Airsoft Rifle Field Test Review

Make sure to watch my Preview Vimeo Video for the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 & 3 Airsoft Rifles where I go over some of the specifications and also end off the video with my SHOT Show KWA Interview where Johnathan shows us around the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 & 3 Airsoft Rifles.

In this Field Test Shooting Review I test both the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 & 3 Airsoft Rifles out putting some rounds through my Chronograph to see what the actual fps is. I also put some rounds down range to see how the accuracy is for both of these KWA AEG Airsoft Rifles is.

Starting with my Chronograph test, I was using heavier than normal .32 gram Airsoft BB’s to see if this would help out a bit with the accuracy but keep in mind it will slow the fps down a bit compared to using standard .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. My results for both AIrsoft guns where pretty close with the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 Airsoft Rifle shooting slightly faster at around 324 fps versus the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3 Airsoft Rifle coming in with a velocity of 314 fps. The KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 Airsoft Rifle can be adjusted for 320-380 fps by accessing a screw situated at the end of the buffer tube. The KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3 Airsoft Rifle does not have this feature since it has its recoil system setup inside the buffer tube. You can swap out springs if you want to adjust your fps on the TK.45 3 Airsoft Rifle.

Moving on to the accuracy test. I know 30 feet is not really a great range for testing out an AEG Airsoft rifle but it does give us an idea of how tight it will shoot at this range and then all we need to do is expand that a bit as we get further out. But a tight group at 30 feet should mean a decent group even when shooting further away.

I do have to say I was having some difficulty with the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3 Airsoft Rifle using the same ammo in both guns so this should not be a problem if it works well in one but not the other? That said I was getting misfeeds followed by double shots using the .32 gram Airsoft BB’s in the TK.45 3 Airsoft Rifle. Even in full auto it seemed to misfeeds for a bit but then cleared up at the end. Maybe a different ammo choice or some break in time is required? That said both Airsoft guns seemed to shoot low so perhaps a hop-up adjustment is in order. The KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 2.5 Airsoft Rifle seemed to shoot the lowest even requiring me to retest it since my first go around shot below the range of the camera. When I sighted in at the top of the target the second time I did get a very tight 1 inch grouping just below the bullseye. In full auto both guns punched nice 2-3 inch holes through the paper targets.

Other than the strange miss feeding issue I had with the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3 Airsoft Rifle, I found them to be very nice rifles. The simulated blowback recoil action felt nice on the shoulder so personally I would go for the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3 Airsoft Rifle, I would just need to workout the miss feeding issue for sure. Maybe even a shorter version of the KWA Ronin TK.45 Tekken AEG 3.0 Airsoft Rifle would be nice? You can purchase one of these KWA Airsoft Rifles over in our Canada Replica Airguns store!

Being that KWA is a new product in our Replica Airguns Online Stores, I wanted to go over as much of the KWA product line as possible and really not only learn for myself but be able to share all of this information with everyone. I have to thank Jonathan for spending so much of his time really diving in deep to what KWA has to offer.

There really is an absolute ton of info in this video that in no way I can put into words so you’re going to have to watch this KWA SHOT Show Interview from start to finish. So go get yourself a snack and something to drink, cause it’s going to be a long one!
