Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is nice and short and light as would be expected form a bolt action sniper rifle. The take-up and release are virtually on existent, just nudge your finger a bit and this Airsoft rifle is firing a round down range.
Accuracy: So far I have not tested out the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle but from what I have seen watching other YouTube videos, it looks to be very accurate right out of the box. The version I have has the Canada import legal heavier spring so it should shout right around 366 fps or a tad higher using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. I will probably test mine out using heavier Airsoft BB’s when I perform my Field Test Shooting Video for the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle.
Build Quality: The Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle like all Tokyo Marui products is very well made, there is a lot of plastic in this Airsoft Sniper rifle but it is of good quality, you will find metal in the barrel and bolt areas of course. The trigger, safety and sling attachments are also metal.
Realism: The Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is based off of your typical bolt action hunting rifle with not a lot fo bells and whistles other than the included adjustable open sights but you can pimp it out with a ton of aftermarket modifications including much suppresses, scope mounts for a scope, bipods and pretty much all the internal parts can be upgraded and swapped out.
Pros:
Not a clone so all aftermarket parts will work on and in it.
No CO2 or batteries required, ready when you are.
Expect excellent accuracy at most ranges.
Easy to adjust on the field Hop-up.
Super easy to operate bolt action and very nice trigger.

There are lots of clones out there of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle but this is the real deal and so you will pay more for it for sure but you will get Tokyo Marui quality and performance. That can not be said for the clone versions. If you do plan on upgrading yours down the road the Tokyo Marui version will accept all the aftermarket add ons and parts which again the clones may not and so you could end up wasting your money on parts that don’t fit with the other versions. Something to keep in mind when adding up all the costs. One thing to be aware of with the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Spring Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle is the bolt is a bit firmer with the upgraded spring dn so you need to make sure it is all the way forward before twisting and releasing. If you don’t it will not lock into place and you will end up scratching the back paint off of the area just in front of the safety, not a big deal, you can always touch it up easy enough.

Perhaps you might call this a followup video since I already made a full Field Test Shooting Video of the all black version of this pistol and you may wonder if the color of a gun could in some way effect how it performs? Well I don’t think color would really matter but it has been over 6 years since I did my original Field Test Shooting video fo the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver and so perhaps some things have changed, maybe my shooting is better or worse? At any rate let’s find out.
Starting off with my Chronograph test I was able to get an average 6 shot velocity of 348 fps which is about 40 fps less than my testing 6 years ago of 390 fps, perhaps the temperatures where a bit different? Perhaps the valve setups of the guns was not the same? By the way the temperature was 23 degrees Celsius in the indoor Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range and I was using a brand new 12 gram CO2 along with 5.1 grain zinc coated steel BB’s.
Moving on to the accuracy test, surely I would get a similar 1 inch 6 shot grouping from the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver, after all it’s been 6 years and I must be a much more advanced shooter… Well there again the Chrome Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum CO2 BB Revolver did not perform as well as the black one from my 2014 Field Test? Again maybe the steel BB’s I was using where not of the same quality? Maybe I simply had one too many espresso shots? As the video shows this time around I was only able to get about a 2 inch 6 shot grouping from the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver. Still not bad but I was hoping for better result or at least the same as before.
I could do this test again and get completely different results using perhaps another brand of CO2 on a warmer day with higher quality Steel BB’s and just maybe with me on my game a little bit better? At the end of the day 350 fps is perfectly fine for putting holes in pop cans and a 2 inch group at 30 feet will get you on most targets every time so I’m not going to sweat it too much. If you are looking for a shell loading CO2 BB Revolver the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver is for sure one of my top picks.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver is good in both single and double action, it’s nice that you have the shorter lighter single action trigger for slower more accurate shooting but you can also blast away in double action when you feel like it. The hammer on the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver is firm with not very much wiggle which some other revolvers in this category do have.
Accuracy: Based on my results shooting the Umarex Colt Python 357 which is essentially the same gun in a different finish. The results I got shooting my 6 round group from a 30 foot out semi rested position where good overall. Vertically there was about a 2 inch spread while horizontally there was about a 1 inch spread. I did find the plastic tips on the brass shells seemed to be a bit tight at first and this is when I did most of my Chronograph and target shooting. I believe the tightness effected the consistency of the FPS which also effected the accuracy especially up and down. I did get one shot out of the Umarex Colt Python 357 well over the claimed 400 fps but again the fps was rather erratic most likely because of the snug BB fit due to shell break-in.
Build Quality: The Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver being mostly metal has a very good build quality and is on par with the Dan Wesson 715 shell loading revolver. It has a nice weigth adn balance to it and feels really good in the hand! The only real plastic I could find was in the grips and the shell tips. Fit and finish was also good with no noticeable chrome wear or sloppy workmanship. It will be interesting to see how the Chrome finish wears over time compared to the black finishes fodun on most KWC made Airguns.
Realism: TheUmarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver overall is a close copy a the real steel Colt Python 357 styled revolver. I did notice the rear portion of the receiver (between the rear cylinder and hammer) to be a bit longer perhaps to accommodate the CO2 valve length, but other than that, this pistol is super close to the original Colt Python 357 styled revolver it is based on. Again being all metal gives this CO2 BB revolver very realistic weight and feel and the loadable brass shells make using this gun almost exactly like using a real shell loading revolver but for much less cost per shot and of course a lot less recoil on the hands and noise to be had.
Pros:
Shells loading revolver give you the feeling of loading and shooting a real revolver.
Mostly all metal design.
Lots of detail, well made, chrome looks nice, not sure if it will wear better than the black finish found on most KWC made pistols?
Good overall weight, almost 3 pounds.
Should have good overall power, accuracy and shots per CO2 (based on my previous Colt Python testing).

It’s been a while since I reviewed a Shell Loading Airgun and this one is pretty much the same Airgun I have reviewed in the past in both the KWC and Umarex Distributed forms. It has been almost 6 years since I took a look at one on my table and it still hods up today. I plan on performing another Field Test Shooting Review for the Umarex Colt Python 357 Magnum Chrome CO2 BB Revolver to see if I can replicate the same good results I did back in 2014 when I tested it out on my deck. This is a combined Filed Test Shooting Video for the KWC 2022 NBB - 24/7 NBB - 24/7 Blowback CO2 BB Pistols. I already made an update video for these KWC Steel BB Pistols since they are slightly different version I have not covered in any video beforehand.
As per my typical Field Test Shooting Videos I first place 5 shots through my Chronograph to test out the real world fps of each gun. I then shoot 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet away using a seated and rested shooting position. My ammo for this test was 5.1 grain zinc coated 4.5mm Steel BB’s for all airguns along within a brand new 12 gram CO2. The temperature in my indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range was around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) for this test.
First up was the KWC 2022 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol with an average five shot fps of 347. The KWC 2022 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol was the least accurate of the three Airguns tested on this day getting about a 5-6 inch 10 shot grouping. I did notice when I went to edit the video that it did shoot a double shot on the first shot which lowered that first shot making the group a bit larger. This may have been as a result of pulling the trigger with the safety on right before which probably loaded a round into the barrel followed by the second pull loading a second BB into the barrel.
I then tested out the KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol which was by far the most powerful Airgun tested out of the three hitting a top fps of 452 with a five shot average of 420 fps! The KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol was also fairly accurate getting a nice 2 inch 10 shot grouping, slightly to the left and just under the bullseye. Nothing wrong with that!
The last KWC 4.5mm Steel BB pistol for the day was my KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol. The only only blowback single action shooter out of the bunch. As expected from a blowback CO2 Airgun the fps was lower averaging just under 300 fps (298 to be precise). The surprise of the day was the accuracy from the KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol was the best out of this test group getting really close to a 1 inch grouping very well centered just a tad to the right but with near perfect elevation.
Depending on what you are going for, all of these Airguns are great choices. If you want ultimate power perhaps go for the KWC 24/7 NBB 4.5mm CO2 Steel BB Pistol with its 450+ fps, if you want accuracy and realism then I would suggest the KWC 24/7 Blowback CO2 4.5mm Steel BB Pistol with its full blowback action and excellent accuracy.

This Field Test Shooting Review for the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is a lot different from most of my other shooting video reviews mainly because the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is not a CO2 powered BB Pistol like pretty much every other 4.5mm Steel BB pistol I have ever tested. There are way more 6mm Airsoft spring pistols but when it comes to actual 4.5mm BB Pistols they are not very common. The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is Kind of like the pistol version of the Daisy Red Ryder BB Rifle…
So let’s get right into the nitty gritty on how the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol performed in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range. Starting off with the feet per second velocity for the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol Daisy claims around 240 fps. shooting about 8 shots through my chronographs with standard 5.1 grain 4.5,, steel BB’s I was able to get an average of just over 180 fps, the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol was super consistent shooting all shots between 181 and 189 fps.
I then proceeded to place 10 shots on my paper target setup 30 feet down range shooting from a rested portion with a sand bag up front supporting my hadbn’s and a stool to sit on in the back. The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol did shoot a bit low and to the left but all 10 shots grouped within 3 inches of each other, actually a bit better than I was expecting from a low cost BB Pistol like this. If I was shooting at a pop can and adjusted my aim point a bit I would have hit the can 10 out of 10 times which is about as good as you can ask for a plinker like this.
The best way I can describe the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is the pistol equivalent of the Daisy Re Ryder in that it shoots 4.5mm Steel BB’s has a high capacity BB reservoir that holds lots of BB’s and you are required to cock the spring for each shot rather than use CO2 for power. This makes for an over low cost Airgun but like the Daisy Red Ryder it is a lot fo fun to shoot at the end of the day. The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol has a surprisingly good trigger and at the end of the day shot really consistently for me.

Trigger Pull: The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol has a single action only trigger. You will have to pull the slide back for each shot as this motion draws the spring back and also cocks the hammer. The trigger pull is fairly decent with about a quarter inch of take-up followed by a light predictable release. There will not be any action shooting since the trigger is not double action and the fact that the slide must be pulled back for each shot.
Accuracy: So far I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video for the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol but I did take it outside for some good old plinking to see how it would perform causally shooting in the yard. The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol shot a bit harder than I was expecting it to and I was even able to hit targets a good 50 or so feet away but did have to account for some trajectory arch. Accuracy seemed good in general without a lot of need to adjust my aim point as the sights seemed well centered out of the box which is good since they are not adjustable.
Build Quality: The build quality of the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is nothing exciting as it is mostly plastic with a metal barrel and perhaps a few other internal metal parts. Being that the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is mostly plastic it only weighs in at about a pound but feels good in the hand. Everything feels pretty solid on the airgun with good overall fit and finish.
Realism: In terms of realism the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is a good replica of a Beretta 92 in terms of looks and size comparison. Other than the open slide area that exposes the inner barrel being shorter than a real steel Beretta (probably to accommodate the internal spring) the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol looks very close to a Beretta 92. Moving parts include the slide, hammer, magazine release and slide catch release which is actually the safety. Even the magazine is drop out and near full size. I also like that there are no perceivable screw holes which is usually the case with these types of low cost all plastic Airguns when they are basically two halves slapped and screwed together.
Pros:
Pretty decent replica of a Beretta 92 in general.
For an inexpensive Airgun it has a lot of working parts that make it more realistic.
Very low cost to buy and operate, no CO2 required (Under $40 in Canada Store right now).
Has a recessed barrel for added realism.
Single action only trigger is not overly long or heavy.
Lots of ammo stored in the internal hopper so no need for a lot reloading.
Safety actually looks like part of the gun built into the slide catch release.
Full size dropout magazine.
Weight and feel of gun are pretty good considering so much plastic.
Cons:
Not super high in the fps department.
Need to cock the slide for every shot so not going to be an action shooter.

Comments: The Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is one of those low cost yet kind of fun BB guns that as long as you don’t have super high expectations you will get a ton of fun out of for very little cost. At about $40 Canadian with a bit more for some 4.5mm steel BB’s you are ready to shoot all day long. I was a bit surprised at how decent of a little BB gun the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol is. It looks real enough, has a decent build quality to it, actually shoots pretty good with a nice trigger and for such a low cost airgun it has a lot going for it like lots of working parts and even a removable full size magazine that doubles as a 200 round hopper with 13 round internal magazine. I don’t think anyone will be disappointed buying the Daisy Powerline 340 Spring BB Pistol and it would make a perfect first BB gun for a younger person looking to get started out in the sport.

For this Field Test Shooting Video I actually had to go outside and use my field so in order to have an appropriate amount of distance to properly test the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle. My Indoor Airgun Shooting Range is only 30 feet long and my metal backstop was simply not usable for the arrows.
I setup a make ship arrow backstop using a large bag of bark mulch with a rubber matt over top. This setup seemed to work really well for the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle allowing the arrows to stick in most of the way. My target was setup around 55 feet away and I was using rested but standing shooting position for my testing.
I decided to combine the Chromo and Accuracy portion of my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle by recording each shot on my chronograph while I placed shots on target, why not right? I placed 6 arrows on target with 5 of my shots being recorded by the chronograph. The average fps was only 156, the highest being 183 and lowest being 136. I did experience a bit of a CO2 leak when I first placed my 88 gram CO2 in the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle. I believe this was because I did not pull the bolt back which allowed the valve mechanism to be open slightly. I realized this fairly quickly and pulled the bolt back which saved most of the CO2 but I did lose a some. This may have lowered the fps a little bit but I was surprise that the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle was recording about half the fps claimed by Umarex. That said the effectiveness of the arrows and penetration into the backstop would for sure get the job done if I was trying to eradicate some small to medium sized pests.
In terms of accuracy I was very impressed with the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle. At 55 feet or so I was able to get 5 of the arrows all within 2-3 inches of each other, I did have one arrow drop a little bit lower than the main grouping. I’m not sure if I would want to shoot a pest out at 50-60 feet but it could be done with the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle especially if you where to add a nice red dot or optical sight to it. I would think the Umarex AirJavelin Archery CO2 Arrow Rifle would be best suited shooting small to medium game at 30-40 feet which should allow for sub 2 inch groupings.

Max FPS: 400 fps using PBA Platinum pellets (about 5 grain).
Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol uses what Gamo calls their SAT or Smooth Action Trigger system. Overall the single action only trigger feels pretty good, not super light but also not overly heavy. The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol has a short take up with a very predictable release point. I found it fairly easy to use and shoot with precision.
Build Quality: The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol is mainly made out of plastic, pretty much everything is plastic including the trigger but there will be internal metal parts where they are required. That said the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol feels well made with fairly heavy plastic throughout. The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol is not super heavy but feels hefty enough in the hand.
Realism: The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol is not a replica of any specific pistol in production and has a very modern look to it. I would say it looks more like an airgun than a real gun and that’s exactly what is’t supposed to be so this is not a negative in this case.

Performed well, can easily get .5 inch groupings from 30 feet away.

Comments: The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol is a nice overall low cost target pistol with a very modern look and Gas Piston technology. In terms of performance the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol tested well for me shooting accurately with a consistent 300 fps velocity which is what you want in a target pistol, consistency over raw power. I like the overall design and look, the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol feels good in the hand and easy to shoot, the trigger is not overly light but is also not too heavy by any means. My only complaint is the cocking effort involved because of such a short barrel and I also noticed a bit of a stickiness with the cocking effort but I have a feeling this may break in over time or perhaps a drop of oil in the hinge area may do the trick. If you want a modern looking target pellet pistol with good performance than the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol will for sure fit the bill!
My Table Top Review for the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol:
For this Field Test Shooting Video Review of the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol I test the power and accuracy to determine what the real world (fps) Feet Per Second velocity and how tight of a grouping I can get for 30 feet down range.
For the power portion of my Indoor Filed Test I shot five RWS 6.9 grain lead pellets through my Chronograph with an average velocity of 305 fps. This resulted in a 1.43 foot pound energy rating. My slowest shot out of the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol was 289 fps and the fastest shot was 311 fps. Gamo claims the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol can achieve 400 fps but this would be using lighter alloy pellets like PBA Platinum pellets.
Next I setup at a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to place 8 shots into the target using a seated and rested shooting position. My first shot was a bit high as I was getting use to the trigger but the following 7 shots all grouped within about 3/4 of an inch, 6 of them all within a half inch of each other so the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol is for sure capable of 1/5 inch groupings from a 30 foot distance. The placement of the shots grouping was a little bit high and to the left. since the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol has an adjustable trigger for windage I could easily center the grouping right in the middle. In terms of elevation there is no adjustment so I would need to manually adjust this on the fly depending on the distance I was shooting at.
The Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol performed very well for me, the power is what you would expect for a target pistol, I would not recommend the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol for any pest control. Accuracy was very good and I feel once getting use to the trigger you shoudl be able to get shots all within a 1/2 inch at 30 feet. The trigger is not super light but by no means is it heavy, the take-up is short with a predictable release, I found the trigger to work well overall. My only complaint is cocking the Gas Spring as the barrel is short and it does take some effort to do this, especially getting it started off, once you get past the first little bit it does get easier to cock. If you’re looking for a nice accurate target pellet pistol at a relatively inexpensive price point then for sure consider the Gamo P900 IGT .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is single action only since the charging handle must be cocked first before you can shoot it. The trigger is short and fairly light as you would expect from an AR type trigger action. The real fun happens with the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun when you switch it over to full auto mode and with just one pull and hold of the trigger you empty the 25 round magazine in mere seconds.
Build Quality: The Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is well made all around. Weighing in at 6 pounds without any add on accessories it feel solid and well built. There is a lot of metal going on inside and out of this rifle but keep in mind the top and bottom receiver are plastic with metal parts where they need to be like in the internals, pretty much all the working parts are metal, the magazine is full metal, the buffer tub is metal, charging handle, selector switch, magazine release, bolt release, trigger and of course the barrel is metal.
Realism: The Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is about as real as you are going to get in a CO2 Blowback AR/M4 styled Airgun. You can even take it apart and split the top and bottom receivers like the real steal version. The blowback action gives you some recoil but more importantly offers a true single action trigger and of course the full auto ability we all love. Almost all the working parts work like they would on a real AR / M4 other than the forward assist which is moulded into the receiver.
Pros:
Super realistic working M4/AR 4.5mm BB Rifle just like the otters Crosman Rifles in this lineup.
Full blowback operation with both semi and full auto shooting, can feel the blowback operation rocking the gun.
Great weight and feel to it.

Comments:
The Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is really pretty much the same as the Crosman DPMS SBR and Crosman MPW with more or less Cosmetic changes. Like the Crosman MPW the Crosman R1 has an AR compatible Rear stock and pistol grip, the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is the only Crosman AR Full Auto CO2 BB Rifle that has the ability to change out the flash hider, you can even put a mock suppression or in it if you choose to. No matter which of the Crosman AR Full Auto CO2 BB Rifles you chooses to get they are mechanically every similar and share most of the same parts. I would say the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is the most customizable to date but they are all fantastic Air Rifles!

Here we are with yet another Crosman AR styled Full Auto Blowback CO2 BB Rifle and they just keep getting better, I say that lightly as even the first version the Crosman DPMS SBR still holds up to the 3 part lineup. It kind of has to since all three of them can be mixed and matched in terms of the uppers and lowers, magazines and I am sure most intern parts. Check out the Crosman DPMS SBR and the Crosman MPW for reference as I have made full table top and field test shooting videos for them already.
The purpose as always for my Field Test Shooting Videos is to find out how the airgun being reviewed performs in terms of velocity and accuracy, and if the ratings on paper end up being the same or close to the tested results. Crosman claims the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun is capable of shooting 5.1 grain 4.5mm Steel BB’s at up to 430 fps. When I tested the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun using my Chronograph averaging out 5 shots using a brand new set of CO2 cartridges I averaged 395 fps. Note the temperature in my Indoor Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range was about average at about 24 degrees Celsius or right around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Comparatively I was able to get 405 fps from the Crosman DPMS SBR and around 385 fps with the Crosman MPW. Temperature may have beene slightly different on those testing days so that needs to be factored in.
Moving on to the accuracy portion of this Field Test Shooting Review for the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun, I placed 10 semi auto shots on my paper target setup 30 feet downrange. I was using a rested and seated shooting position to help minimize human factor. I was able to get pretty much a 1 inch grouping with my 10 semi auto shots which was nit surprising as I have been able to get tight shot placement like this from the Crosman AR series before.
I then flipped the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun semi auto selector switch to full auto and dumped the remaining 10 rounds into my paper target in full auto mode flowed by another full 25 round magazine again in full auto and the grouping only stretched out to about 2.5 -3 inches even with all the full auto vibrations and rocking around of the gun. Shot placement was a little bit high and to the left but this can easily be corrected using the red dot sight adjustments.
In summary the Crosman R1 CO2 Blowback BB Machine Gun performed a lot like the Crosman DPMS SBR and the Crosman MPW which makes since since all of them are virtually mechanically the same. In the end I think it really comes down to which of the Crosman AR type full auto BB rifles you like the look of since they areal very capable shooters. If you can’t decide then maybe get one of each :)

I wasn’t sure if I was going to do a traditional Field test Shooting video for the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher but then I thought why not, and I’m kind of glad I did, it was a lot fo fun making it and now we all know what to expect for this line of CO2 powered Nerf styled guns.
Umarex claims the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher will perform with 30% faster and farther shots than a similarly styled Nerf spring powered gun but what does that mean. If you look up the average speed of a Nerf Gun on Google, Wikipedia says that it is a around 70 fps so I guess we are shooting for around 100 fps (Pardon the pun). Well after placing 5 shots through my Chronograph and actually getting readings for most shots, I did end up averaging 104 fps so Umarex was bang on with their claim of 30% faster which makes sense to also assume 30% farther.
Next I wanted to see if the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher can actually hit a person sized target at around 30 feet which I feel would be about the max distance you would be shooting the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher as this is really an indoor fun gun. My paper target is about 1 foot by 1 foot in size which is around the same size as a human torso. If I can hit that from 30 feet then I should be able to hit a person. The REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher was able to reach out 30 feet no problem but during the last 10 feet the Nerf style darts did seem to veere off target. I was able to get some of them on target but found that at 20 feet it was way more consistent. So try and get in a bit closer if you want to be more sure of placing an accurate shot on target.
The REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher is for sure a step up from a spring powered Nerf pistol in terms of power, distance, quicker reloading and especially when it comes to realism as they look like a traditional modern styled hand gun rather than a toy gun like most Nerf gun designs. I figure why not grab a couple REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launchers for when you get bored around the house, heck there’s a lot of that going on right now!
As always I like to test each gun out in the Replace Airguns Indoor Sea Can Airguns Range first placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph to find out the real world velocity of each test gun, then I shoot 10 rounds at a distance of 30 feet onto a paper target to see how tight of a grouping I can get shooting from a seated and rested position. When it come to full auto BB guns like the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun, I will usually switch up to full auto and dump the rest of the magazine to see if I can still sray on target with the remaining rounds.
For my Power or Velocity test I was using fairly new CO2, I had shot a full magazine a couple days before but the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun was all warmed up and ready to perform optimally. Umarex does state that it will shoot around 435 fps and with my 5 shot test I was able to confirm that with a 434 fps average. The temperature in the Sea Can was around 23 degrees Celsius or 73 degrees Fahrenheit.
For my accuracy test I setup a new paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to place 10 shots into it using the peep sights on the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun. Other than one slight flyer my 10 round grouping was around 3/4 of an inch and just a tad low of the bullseye but pretty close. I then switched over to full auto fun mode and with the remaining BB’s I unloaded all 20 rounds in about a half a second, or at least it seemed like that! The Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun even in full auto mode with the trigger matted till the gun ran out I was still able to get a 2 inch grouping!
I’m a big fan of the Umarex Legends Series BB Guns and the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun may be my favorite out of all of them to date. The Thompson M1A1 is just such a stand out Machine Gun we all know from the Mob shows. Not only does the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun look the part but it performs I would have to say so far the best when it comes to Full Auto Machine guns at least from Umarex. I do have to say that the Crosman CO2 BB AR Series does not disappoint. That said if you are looking for a more classic BB Machine Gun that performs as good as it looks then my advice is grab yourself one of the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun and add it to your collection.
My systems setup for a more powerful airgun as I was shooting .22 caliber lead pellets with about 11-12 foot pounds of energy. Direct hits passing through the 3/4 inch cut outs had no problem laying down the metal paddles and resetting the paddles was a lot easier than I though it would be even way back 50 feet.
I did not have my Sig Sauer Virtus PCP .22 Caliber Air Rifle perfectly sighted in so I did have to aim low and to the left which made it a bit harder dropping the plates but I did manage to get the job done at least for providing a decent test video fo the Rx Target Systems for the purposes of this video.

Trigger pull is not very long or heavy.
Build Quality: The Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun is pretty much all metal other than the stock and pistol grip. Pretty much everything that is black is going to be metal on this CO2 airgun. It weighs in at a hefty 7.75 pounds which is lighter than the real steel version by about 2 pounds but keep in mind the simulated plastic wood grips are a much lighter than real wood would be. Overall the fit and finish is really good, mechanical parts work well and seem to be well machined..
Realism: The Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun is a 1 to 1 replica of the real steel World War II Thompson M1A1 Machine Gun and is very authentic looking with similar operation. Even the magazine holds 30 rounds just like the real steel Thompson M1A1. The blowback operation will give you a little bit of that shoulder tap but of course nothing like a 45 caliber M1A1. As expected in todays Replica Airguns the barrel is recessed to give it a larger opening and the CO2 screw is hidden well enough. I would like to see at least a real wood kit for the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun which would not lonely look even better but also increase the overall weight closer to the 10 pound real steel weight.
Yet another Classic Legends Replica Airgun from Umarex, maybe one of the best to date.
Mostly all metal design with good overall weight.
Semi and Full auto select-ability.
Dual CO2 design for increased shots and less cool down effect.
High capacity 30 round full size drop out metal magazine.
Umarex went with less rounds to get away from the double stay configuration of the 50 round Legends MP40 which was not always dependable.
Great looking replica of the real steel M1A1 in looks, operation and feel.
Internal bolt blowback will give a bit of recoil feedback feel.
Simulated wood looks very realistic.
Recessed barrel for added realism.
Cons:
Real wood hardware would have been cine and added it of additional weight. Maybe Umarex will offer this down the road?
Price is getting up there a bit but still worth it if you are an M1A1 fan, imagine what a real one would cost?
Going to eat up CO2 quickly in full auto mode but you can always switch over to semi auto.
Comments: Another great Legends product from Umarex, maybe even the best one so far. The only issues I had with the Umarex Legends MP40 was the double stack magazine feeding dependability with the 50 round double stack magazine not always feeding consistently. Umarex went back to a less aggressive closer to a single stack magazine on the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun which has a fewer rods but is expected to feed more consistently. I am looking forward to getting out and actually shooting the Umarex Legends M1A1 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun when I make my Field Test Shooting video. My advice right now with uncertainties about if and when we will get new inventory is buy now if you are in a position to as I am not sure how long they will last and when we will be able to get more stock.

Trigger Pull: The trigger on the Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher is much the same as your standard double action non-blowback BB gun, I’m pretty sure the actual mechanical hammer and trigger mechanism is much the same since the barrel moves in and out just like many of Umarex’s non-blowback CO2 BB pistols. The double action trigger is as expected a bit long but it’s not overly heavy and since this is not a rapid fire gun your trigger finger will not get tired shooting the Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher.
Accuracy: I haven’t performed my Field Test Shooting video for the Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher and I’m not sure what that is going to entail but I have placed some rounds at targets around 20-25 feet away and for the most part you can easily hit a human sized object in the mid section easily enough. I would not want to shoot much over 30 feet but the Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher like other Nerf type guns is mainly for indoor fun.
Build Quality: The REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher is built pretty much exactly like other Umarex non-blowback all plastic CO2 BB pistols and that’s a good thing since they are pretty much bullet proof. I would even go on record to say the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher is built better or should I say stronger than a Standard Nerf gun in terms of plastic thickness and even the fit and finish is very good.
Realism: One big advantage over most Nerf Guns is that the Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher looks a lot more like a real gun, it’s about the same size, has the same feel and looks a lot like a modern semi auto hand gun other than the bright coloring going on. Ergonomically speaking the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher would make a much better trainer than a Nerf gun and should even fit into standard pistol holsters.

Comments: The Umarex REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher may be the ideal indoor fun gun right now while we are all staying at home a lot more these days. Sure you could use a standard Nerf Gun but not if you want to be the cool kid (or cool kid stuck in an adults body). I like that the REKT OPSIX CO2 Single Shot Foam Dart Launcher is more realistic looking then a traditional Nerf Gun, perhaps the perfect intermediary gun if you want something between a Nerf Gun and an Airsoft Gun? Hopefully we can keep them in stock and get more product for you if need be moving forward.
