I know this is an Airgun channel but when I get something that I feel my audience would be interested I in, I generally share it with everyone. I know many Airgun enthusiasts are interested in Airguns for a few reasons like the lower cost to buy and operate, the fact that there are more situations where you can shoot an Airgun and perhaps availability of these guns in terms of purchasing them without a license and laws pertaining to overall size, barrel lengths, magazine capacities and the likes. My latest acquisition does tick some of these boxes for sure.
My latest “Birthday” purchase was the GSG-16 which is a 22LR rimefire rifle made by www.GermanSportGuns.com and it is sort of an MP5 copy but this version is more like a Frankenstein version of an MP5 combined with an AR-15 in order to make H&K happy. Previous version of the GSG-16 (the GSG-5 and GSG-522) where too similar to the MP5 and so GSG had to make a third version less MP5-ish.
That said the GSG-16 has all the same controls as the MP5 so for training purposes it would be very suitable. Personally I like what GSG did in order to bring the GSG-16 to market without legal ramifications from H&K. I like all the rails and the way it kind of looks a bit more like an AR-15 even if the controls are not the same.
If you do like the MP5 look there are some kits out there for the GSG-16 to turn it back into more of an MP5 looking rifle but for me I don’t need to spend the extra money to be happy with the GSG-16.
No we do not have this item in our Replica Airguns Stores as we really only cater to guns that do not require any sort of lisenceing or permits. The closest thing you can buy I would say would be either the Umarex HK MP5-PDW CO2 BB Rifle, one of the MP5 Airsoft Rifles we have or even the Crosman MPW Blowback CO2 BB Rifle which is more AR based.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Licensed L6 .50AE Desert Eagle GBB Airsoft Pistol is single action only which means you will need to rack the slide to not only draw the hammer back but to also chamber the first round. After that the blowback action will do this for you until you are out of ammo and then the slide will lock back. The trigger itself is really nice, it’s light, short and has a crisp release perfect for fast action shooting.
Accuracy: At this point I have not made my Field Test Shooting portion of my review for the Cybergun Licensed L6 .50AE Desert Eagle GBB Airsoft Pistol and I really don’t know what to expect? Cybergun claims an fps of 368 using green gas or propane but this may be on the high side since green gas generally produces less velocity than CO2. In terms of accuracy, again I have no idea since I have not reviewed this version of Desert Eagle before. So stay posted till next week when I make the Field Test Shooting Review for it.
Build Quality: Overall the all metal build quality of the Cybergun Licensed L6 .50AE Desert Eagle GBB Airsoft Pistol is good which I would hope to be the case for a higher priced Airsoft Pistol like this. I did however notice under the slide there was a bit of a rough area that I feel could have been sanded or polished out a bit better. Other than that this gun looks amazing and the fact that both the slide and receiver are both metal gives this Airsoft gun good weight and feel.
Realism: The Cybergun Licensed L6 .50AE Desert Eagle GBB Airsoft Pistol is an excellent Replica Airsoft version of the real steel L6 .50AE Desert Eagle including the top and bottom rails and the ported front barrel. It also has full blowback action and you can fully field strip it. Combine that with an all metal build and it doesn't get any more realistic than that.

Comments: Going off just the looks and feel for the Cybergun Licensed L6 .50AE Desert Eagle GBB Airsoft Pistol I can say it is for sure one of the nicest Desert Eagles I have reviewed to date. I’m not generally a fan of gold guns but I think gold really suits the Desert Eagle since this iconic pistol is known for being over the top. It’s also full metal as compared to the KWC versions so that’s a big plus. I guess it will come down to how well it performs during my Field Test Shooting Video in terms of power and accuracy. If it doesn't let me down here, it may just be worth the nearly $400 piece tag!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver is light in single action but not too light, there is virtually no take up and the release is predictable. In double action the trigger pull is heavier as the cylinder and hammer are both actuated manually by the trigger but even so the pull is not what I would call heavy for a double action revolver. The double action trigger pull is nice and even and will not tire out your finger too much firing all six rounds quickly.
Accuracy: At this point i have not made my Field Test Shooting portion of my review for the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver but I expect to get close to the 420 fps claimed velocity and I also expect to shoot around a 1 to 2 inch grouping based on my past experienced with similar Shell Loading BB Revolvers. I may even pull of a 1/5 inch group if I am on my game and so is the gun… We will have to all wait till next week when I record the shooting portion of my review for the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver.
Build Quality: Overall the all metal build quality of the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver is very good. The black chrome finish looks really nice but does show every finger print and any grease from your hands. The imitation wood grips look just like real wood and with only the exception of a small scratch or crack in the front plastic red sight, the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver was flawless.
Realism: The Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver is the same revolver used in one of the Dirty Hariy Movies and really looks exactly the same. As with all the shell loading BB/pellet/Airsoft Revolvers, they look and perform exactly like the real steel versions other than recoil of course. The only give away for the Umarex S&W M29 8 Inch Barrel Shell Loading CO2 BB Revolver would be the diameter of the shells as Umarex decided to repurpose the 38/357 shells used in their other smaller caliber shell loading revolvers. It would have been nice to have a larger 44/45 caliber sized shell that they could use in both the Colt 45 Single Action Army Revolvers and this 44 Magnum version of the Smith and Wesson M29 Revolver. The barrel opening is closer to that of a 44 Magnum so they did get that part right.
Pros:
Classic iconic 44 magnum movie revolver.
Mostly all metal build.
Good overall weight, it’s big so expected to weigh a fair amount.
Lots of detail, well made, fit and finish is very good.

I really like that Umarex decided to give us this more classic Revolver to add to our collection of Airgun Revolvers! I was a big fan of the Dirty Harry Movies so this gun is for sure going to be part of my Airgun collection and even if you are not a fan, you should probably be a fan of the Smith and Wesson M29 which was considered to be one of the most powerful revolvers back in its day. Right now you can get it in 4.5mm Steel BB and 6mm Plastic Airsoft but hopefully there is a .177 caliber Pellet version on its way at some point.

I have a nice Airgun Pistol Update Unboxing video to checkout where I take a look at 5 Airguns four of which are Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistols and one is a CO2 BB Revolver. I don’t go into a lot of details here on each Airgun as this is mainly just a preview video to let everyone know we have these products in our Online Replica Airgun Stores and give a you a quick look at them. I will be following up with individual Table Top and Field Test Videos where I go into more details and also show you how each gun performs in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sea Can Shooting Range.
This was an unusual Field Test Review for me to do as I really don’t test out Bows or Crossbows all that much and I don’t have the best backstop setup for doing such reviews. So I spent some time making a backstop that was capable of stopping these just over 6 inch almost 10 gram or 150 grain bolts. It required some layers of foam and cardboard along with a blanket behind just in case, and even with this setup the bolts managed to lodge themselves right up to the Fletching (feather part of the arrow). Also make sure to watch my Table Top Video Review for the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow to see it up nice and close and get all the specifications and features.
I kind of wanted to change up this review just a bit and so I recorded my Chronograph Velocity at the same time as I did my Target or Accuracy Test to simplify things. I used 5 bolts in all and got what I felt was a good result using the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow.
In terns of velocity Bear X claims that the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow will shoot around 175 fps. I was able to get consistent 190+ fps readings using the 147 grain 6.5 inch aluminum bolts with my lowest fps being 192 and the highest being 194 so super consistent. This gave an overall Foot Pound energy of 12.4 foot pounds! This is enough for small pests for sure, it really comes down to accuracy at this point as you will want to get either a head or shoulder area shot for a humane kill.
I did do a pre test to make sure I was on target and duding this test I was able to get about a 5 inch 5 shot grouping. During my recored Accuracy Test this did open up a bit as one arrow went high and to the right so if I leave that arrow out of the test I did manage to get another 5 inch grouping with three of the arrows all within 1.5 inches of each otter. I figure with high quality arrows and some practice time using the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow, you should be able to use it for small pest control at least at closer in ranges.
All in all the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow surprised me with how powerful it really was and with the accuracy using standard default bolts. This is for sure not a toy and you would never want to accidentally shoot this at someone as it could cause a very serious injury or even death and I mean that since these arrow would for sure pierce several inches into the body. So if you’re looking for something with a bit more raw power than your standard non-regulated Airgun, then check out the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow over in both our Canada and US Online Replica Airguns Stores.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is medium to heavy, it is a single action only trigger as you need ot cock the bow in order for the trigger to be engaged. The safety is also engaged when you cock the bow requiring you to take the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow off safe before shooting as an added layer of safety.
Accuracy: I have not made my Field Test Shooting Video for the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow and so I have not sea what to expect for it. I have watched a few videos of other people reviewing it and it looks to perform fairly well but until I get a few bolts in a target downrange I can not say for certain the accuracy of the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow. I will have to figure out some sort of a usable back stop in order to make this Field Test Shooting Video but have some ideas already on material to use as my back stop. FPS is claimed ot be around 175 and I will be doing my best to Chronograph the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow so we can confirm that rating for ourselves…
Build Quality: The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is actually made pretty decently, yes it is mostly plastic and light weight but feels sturdy enough to hold, the only real metal I can confirm is the cocking rail, mostly everything else other than the nuts and bolts that hold it together are some sort of plastic, the bow itself may be a composite material but I am not sure what exactly it is?
Realism: The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is not a Replica as is what I usually review here on the channel. But I think their is a crossover in terms of interest for a product like this with people that are also interested in airguns. I know I like the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow and can see a place for it in my collection even if it’s not a replica product.
Pros:
Fairly inexpensive.
Super light weight.
Can shoot in a variety of situations.
Easy to draw the bow.
Safety is automatically engaged.
Picatinny rail already has iron fully adjustable rear sight but can mount a red dot if you like.

Comments:
The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow is an interesting product that once purchased and if you manage to not lose the bolts will cost virtually nothing to shoot since you can reuse the bolts all day long given you shoot them on target and that target does not damage the bolts. It may not offer the rapid fire action shooting of a replica semi auto CO2 Pistol but still challenges the shooter in terms of getting the best possible accuracy out of it and at the end of the day trigger time is trigger time! If you are looking for something a bit different than your CO2 Air Gun then maybe the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow will fill that requirement.
In this Field Test Shooting Video I put some .20 gram Airsoft BB’s through the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol to see what the actual velocity is compared to the claimed fps. I also put 10 rounds into a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to find out just how accurate and what kind of grouping I can get from this Gas Blowback Airsoft pistol and also do a full mag dump! If you have not already watched my Table Top Review for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol then make sure to watch if for more specifications and details along with some nice close up video.
For my Chronograph test I placed 5 rounds through my Chrony using .20 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s and was able to average 314 fps with the short barrel and 385 fps with the longer barrel extension added. I was surprised with the addition 70 fps just by adding an extra 4 inches or so to the barrel.
For the accuracy portion of my Field test Shooting Video for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol, I ended up first placing 10 rounds into a fresh paper target setup 30 feet down range. I was using my standard seated and rested shooting position which does offer a fairly stable shooting platform but not without some degree of human interaction. I was a little bit disappointed in the grouping I got as it was one of the larger groupings I have gotten for a test like this spreading out to at least 5-6 inches, still perfectly fine shooting at human target 30-40 feet away. I then uploaded up a full magazine with BB’s and gas and did a mag dump on the same target. As expected there was a lot fo gas and a lot ammo spraying everywhere but the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol did make it through the full 22 rounds and get at least some of them on the target.
The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol may not be the most accurate GBB Airsoft Pistol out of the box but does offer both semi and full auto and at the end of the day when using this Airsoft Pistol in an actual game situation the accuracy will be not as important since your target will generally be a human torso which is much larger than the 5-6 inch grouping I got. I’m not sure how useful the full auto feature really is in a real world situation but it sure is fun and maybe if you pair up a higher capacity G-series magazine this compact full auto pistol could work as a nice min machine gun!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is fairly light, it is a single action only trigger meaning you will need to pull the bolt back to engage the trigger and load an Airsoft BB into the breach. I noticed there is about a 1/4 inch of take-up with a firm breakpoint and easy trigger release. You will also notice there is a trigger safety on the trigger but it does not get in the way at all.
Accuracy: I have not had the chance to really test out this Airsoft Pistol but will be doing so next week when I make my Field Test Shooting Video for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol. I did load up a magazine with propane and do a mag dump in full auto and managed to get though it all but I did pretty much use up all the Gas shooting in full auto. I am sure when in semi auto the gas will go a lot further. I look forward to seeing how it performs in the Filed test in term of accuracy and velocity.
Build Quality: The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistolhas a good overall build quality and fit and finish. There is a lot of plastic on the outside but good use of metal internally in the bolt, barrel and magazine giving it decent weight but not making it too heavy.
Realism: The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is not an actual Replica specifically of any one particular real steel gun in production, that said it does resemble the Ruger series of 22LR pistols in design and how the bolt functions. You will finds lots of working parts that function as you would expect to them if this was a powder burner. Like the bolt, slide catch, magazine release, safety, trigger safety and full size drop put metal magazine. You can even field strip this gun easily.
Pros:
Full Blowback operation.
Full size dropout G-series metal magazine .
Fiber optic front and back sights.
Can mount rails on top and bottom (not included).
Comes with short and long barrels.
Has a 14mm threaded barrel which can be used to add a mock suppressor to hide the barrel extension.
Working trigger safety and added cross bolt safety.
Mostly everything is ambidextrous.
Can be used in semi auto or full auto mode with the flick of a switch hidden under the bolt.
Overall a nice looking custom Airsoft Pistol!
Cons:
Rear sight not adjustable.
May be hard to find a holster for it.
Seems to eat a lot of gas especially in full auto mode.
Comments: What I really like about the Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is that it is rather unique looking, it looks nothing like a Glock, or 1911, or a Beretta or Sig so if you want something that stands out from the crowd then this may be it. I also like the ability to shoot in semi auto or full auto with the click of a switch and since it uses standard G-series magazines you should be able to easily find higher capacity extended mags that hold more gas and more Airsoft BB’s which you will for sure need if you plan to be shooting this one in full auto often.

In this Preview Unboxing Vimeo Video I take a look at five very different products! A Spring Piston .177 Caliber Pellet Pistol, an Airsoft GBB Pistol, a Compact Crossbow, a full auto CO2 Blowback BB Pistol and a PPC .22 Caliber Pellet Rifle.
First up is the Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol which is a single shot replica pellet pistol that shoots .177 caliber pellets at up to 320 fps using a spring piston break barrel system. The Umarex Ruger Mark IV Spring Piston Pellet Pistol is a target plinker with fully adjustable fiber optic sights and should be a lot of fun to shoot!
Next I take a look at a Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol from Action Army that closely resembles the Ruger Mark IV pistol with perhaps a more compact look. The Action Army AAP-01 GBB Airsoft Pistol is full blowback a full size drop out magazine and fiber optic sights. It also come with a threaded barrel and barrel extension for adding a longer barrel and much suppressor.
Next on my list of new items is the Bear X Desire XL Crossbow which is a 2.2 pound compact bolt shooting crossbow that sports a rail system with included adjustable iron sights that also allow for a red dot if you want to really customize it. The Bear X Desire XL Crossbow has a 60 pound draw and shoots arrows/bolts at up to 175 fps.
Another AR BB Rifle/Pistol from Crosman is the Crosman A4-P Full Auto CO2 BB Pistol which is essentially a pistol version of the AR Platform. If you like the Crosman DPMS SBR, R1, PDW then you will probably also like the Crosman AP-4. Like the others it uses dual CO2’s and shoots 4.5mm Steel BB;s in semi or full auto at 1400 rounds per minute until the 25 round magazine is empty.
Last included in this preview video is the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle. I’m a bit uncertain about this one as I am pretty sure it is the non detuned PAL version that requires a firearms license here in Canada as it shoots at full velocity (.22 caliber pellet at 950 fps). If that’s the case then it will not be available in our Canada Replica Airguns Store but may be available in the US Replica Airguns Store. If it is the detuned version or a detuned version becomes available in Canada then I imagine we will at some point have it in the Canada replica Airguns Store. That said the Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Pellet Rifle uses compressed air and shoots either .177. .22 or .25 caliber pellets using a latch system and rotary magazine.
In this Replica Airguns Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle to see what the actual velocity is and what kind of accuracy we can expect shooting 30 feet down range into a paper target, I shoot in both semi auto (10 rounds) and then Full auto (A bunch of rounds) to see how this will asl effect the accuracy.

Starting off with the velocity portion of this Field Test Shooting Video, I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and averaged 384 fps. The slowest shot was 380 fps while the fastest shot was 390, so only a 10 fps spread! This is a nice velocity as it’s not too hot for indoor skirmishes or too slow for further out shooting outside.
Next I setup a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle in both semi auto and full auto to see what kind of grouping I could expect. I did not sight in the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as I like to see how they perform right out of the box. I did notice I was shooting a little bit high and just slightly to the left. Elevation adjustment can be easily adjusted using either the front post sight, the rear notch sight or even a little bit with hop-up so this is not a problem. There is however no way I could see to adjust windage so any corrections you may need ot make left to right you will have to do using your aim point. That said I was able to get around a 1.5 inch grouping with 10 rounds in semi auto mode.
Switching things up to Full auto so fun mode I proceeded to place a whole bunch of rounds into the target, I will estimate around 75 or so and the grouping only spread out to about 2 inches so semi or full auto you will get great accuracy with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle! The rate of fire using an 8.4 volt battery is not super fast but the cycle rate on a real steel AK47 is also not super fast but if you want to speed it up and also have a more responsive trigger then I would suggest using a higher voltage LiPo battery.
I was very impressed overall with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as it is a relatively inexpensive Airsoft Rifle with lots of included bonuses like two magazines, a battery and charger. Even with the low price and bundled add ons it performed really well for me. SO if you are looking for an AK type Airsoft Rifle I would suggest you take a look at the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as an option for sure!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what you will find on most electric switch controlled AEG Airsoft Guns. It has a short to mid length very light take-up with a light release which generally has a bit of a delay as the motor pulls the spring back and release the piston. This delay is shorter with higher voltage batteries as the motor will run quicker allowing for a shorter delay and also a higher rate of fire in full auto mode.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to get to that video this week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine so we will find out together when I get to my Indoor Field Test Shooting video in a couple of days.
Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle seems fairly well built. You will find metal parts in the barrel, front and back sights, receiver, charging bolt, bolt cover, rings, trigger and trigger guard. The plastic components would be the folding stock, magazine, RIS hand-guard, fore-grip and pistol grip. Fit and finish seem good and the overall weight is heavy but not too heavy. Internally you get a metal gear box with metal gears so you should expect to have a reliable and long lasting shooting experience with this Airsoft Rifle.
Realism: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure looks the part of a more modern tactical AK47 with the majority of the mechanical parts functioning like a real steel version as in the charging bolt, bolt cover, sector switch, foldable rear stock and of course the magazine release.

Comments: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what I would consider a great value AEG Airsoft Rifle and there are not as many AK style Airsoft Rifles to choose from as there are AR’s so it’s nice to see this one in the lineup. You do get a lot for what you are paying, lots of metal parts externally and internally with a hefty almost 7 pound weight to it. I also like that you get everything you need to get going other than the Airsoft BB’s, so you get the battery and charger along with two 500+ magazines, they even add in a cheap sling just in case you want to throw it over your shoulder!

Back in 2017 I made “Which Beretta Airgun is the Best” Video and showed off some 4.5mm Steel BB and .177 Caliber Pellet versions of my favorite Beretta 92 - M9 style Air Pistols. There have been some changes since then most noticeably the addition to Airsoft versions so I thought I would update this video with more current Beretta Airguns along with of course some of the same ones form my last video.

.177 Caliber Pellet Beretta 92 -M9 CO2 Air Pistols
After about 4 years or so of not getting sick at all, I was almost starting to think I was impervious to viruses and colds and flues and then it finally happened… I got the Rona.
Now I am not 100% sure if it is the Rona since I have not been tested yet but all signs indicate it’s probably Omicron. I have ordered some antibody tests that I expect to come in shortly, I will be checking my blood for Covid-19 Antibodies once I know my body has had enough time to make them after getting sick this time.
In this video I talk about my symptoms and how I felt start to finish getting the Rona. I can say at least for me it was not big deal, the soar throat was probably the worst of it for me.
Took me a while to get to this Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but glad I took a look at it even if it is over 6 years already on the market. As per usual I test out the velocity shooting several ordains through my Chronograph to see what the real world fps is, I then follow this up with an accuracy test shooting 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Starting with my Velocity Test I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s clocking in an average of 421 fps. I was very impressed with the consistency of the velocity with the lowest shot being 420 fps and the fastest shot being 422 fps only 2 fps apart! You can change out the spring super easy on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but I feel that the fps out fo the box would be good for most Airsoft games indoor and outdoor.
I then places a brand new paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 rounds at it in semi auto using a seated shooting position rested on a sand bag up front. I was able to get very close to a 1 inch grouping just a tad over an inch. I did not sight in the gun so I was not surprised I was shooting rather low and just a hair to the left, this could be equally corrected by adjusting the rear sight for windage and elevation. I could also play around with the hop-up effecting elevation at different ranges. I then proceeded to shoot take some more shot in both 3 round burst adn full auto modes and as expected the groupings did spread out a bit but not a lot.
I was super impressed with eh performance of the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I don’t think I have seen velocity consistency this good in any other AEG Airsoft gun I have tested so far. Accuracy was also on point even using lighter plastic .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. My only real grip with the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is the limited battery choice since the internal storage ares is very constricted. Other than that this Airsfot Gun is a winner and worth taking a look at if you can get your hands on one.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is essentially just an on off electric switch controlled by the ECU. There is very little trigger resistance and the take up is very short allowing for quick semi auto shooting but if you like you can easily select three round burst or full auto shooting for more intense situations.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but plan to get to that video next week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine and taken it for a spin yet. I am sure I will not be dissapoitned as this is a very high quality Airsoft Gun with great internals.
Build Quality: I remember at SHOT Show back when ASG introduced the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I was told indirectly that the construction was nearly identical to the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO at least cosmetically as all the internal parts will be specificities to Airsoft. That said this is a very high quality build with the material being for the most part the same as the original with Nylon Fiber PA6 Polymer reenforced plastics and even some CNC machined metal parts as in the outer barrel, flash hidden, barrel nut and even the gear box.
Realism: The ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is a bang on replica in terms of emulating the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO and has our weight and feel including a blot catch that locks back when out of ammo and most working components being ambidextrous.
Pros:
Build quality is almost exactly like the real steel version, super high quality materials.
Three shooting modes: semi auto, burst mode and full auto.
Decent mid capacity 75 round magazine with auto empty detection which locks the bolt catch.
Quad rail for lots of add on accessories.
Folding and adjustable stock that can also be removed.
Adjustable and removable iron sights with fiber optic up front and peep in the back.
Working charging handle for easy access to hop-up

Battery compartment is small and hard for quick battery replacement, I recommend using an external setup if possible.
Price point is on the higher side but you get what you pay for.
Comments: On paper and just by looking over and inspecting the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun specs out and I am sure I will be pleased when I test it out in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting Range. That said this hasn’t happened yet so I will leave my final thumbs up until then. I do wish we had them in stock at the time of this video but there are a lot of other great ASG products in our store and of course many more brands of AEG Airsoft Guns. Hopefully we can get something like this in shortly for everyone so keep checking with us.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I put the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle through the regular Replica Airguns Indoor Field Test by first testing out the velocity and placing several rounds through my Chronograph to see what the actual fps is using both .20 gram and .40 gram Airsoft BB’s. Then I setup a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange and place 10 rounds into it to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Starting off with my real world velocity test for the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle I decided to use both .20 and .40 gram Airsoft BB’s to see what a difference of double the weigth form the claimed for would actually be since for the most art this Airsoft Sniper Rifle is really meant to be using heavier Airsoft BB’ closer to the .40 gram weight. I was kind of expecting the heavier .40 gram BB’s to shoot almost half as fast since they where double the weight bu this was not the case! I shot 5 rounds with each weight Airsoft BB and with the .20 gram I averaged 479 which was actually faster than claimed, When I switched up to the .40 gram Airsoft BB’s I was surprised to get an average of 373 so only around 100 fps slower!
Moving on to the accuracy portion of my Indoor Field Test here in the Replica Airguns Sea Can, as always I placed a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 .40 gram Airsoft rounds into it from a rested and seated shooting position to allow for best possible results with as little human error added in. I was using a 4x optical scope since the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle has a the added rail on top just fo this purpose and I would imaging most people are going to want to add a magnified scope to this Airsoft Sniper Rifle rather than use the built in pop iron sights that by the way are not adjustable. I know 30 feet is not the range one would be shooting this rifle at but it’s all I have for an indoor shooting range and it will give us an idea of what we can expect shooting further out… as in a nice tight group at 30 feet is going to mean better accuracy than a spread out grouping art 30 feet. I will say the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle probably got one of the best groupings for an Airsoft Rifle that I have tested at 30 feet placing all 10 rounds within about an inch to an inch an a half.
I would like to take this Airsoft Sniper Rifle outside and see what it can do at much further out ranges again using nice and heavy Airsoft BB’s when it gets a bit warmer and stops raining so much :) But for now my Indoor Field Test performed about as good of a result as I can expect. The ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle is a really well made which paid off in two it performed for me. I don’t really see any need to upgrade this Airsoft Sniper Rifle other than adding an optical scope and perhaps investing in some high quality Airsoft Ammo.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle is short light and crisp. Working the bolt precooks the trigger for single action only shooting allowing for just the release of the hammer. There is very little take up and no creep at all, just a nice light and predictable trigger pull.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle so stay posted for that. ASG claims around 4430 fps velocity with the preinstalled M140 spring, you can upgrade the spring all the way up to an M190 spring for even higher potential fps. In terms of accuracy I am also expecting good results so check back next week for my Indoor Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle.
Build Quality: The ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle is well built with lots of high quality component not only inside but also internally. You will find a metal barrel and receiver along with metal bolt, trigger and rear sight, the front sight is however plastic. I donate really thin k you will be using the pop sights all that much as they are not adjustable and this gun really begs for a nice optical scope. The nylon polymer stock has micro-texturing to help with the grip in all weather conditions.
Realism: The ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle is based on the real steel 7.62 NATO Steyr Scout and even incorporates the integrated folding bipod legs like the original. For the most part they look identical but you will find the actual magazine on the Airsoft version is placed further up the stock to allow for the feeding of the Airsoft BB’s which does make the actual inner barrel shorter by about 4-5 inches.

That should give me a good overall idea on at least what it may be capable of since if we can get a tight group at 30 feet we should also be able to get a tight group at longer ranges with proper hop-up and heavier BB selection. I do plan on placing a scope on the ASG Steyr Arms Scout Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Rifle to give it the best possible chance of performing at it’s best and really hope to see a good result from it.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I put the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun through it’s paces by first testing out the velocity placing several rounds through my Chronograph, and then I setup a paper target downrange and place 10 rounds into it to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Starting off with my real world velocity test for the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun, I decided to use .28 gram Airsoft BB’s for this entire Field test Shooting video so I was expecting to get somewhere between 20-25% slower fps velocity as compared to the standard tested .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. After placing around 6 shots through my Chronograph I averaged 328 fps which ended up being 18% slower than the claimed 400 fps made by ASG. I would image if I had used .20 gram Airsoft BB’s I may have even exceeded 400 fps.
Moving on to the accuracy portion of my Indoor Field Test here in the Replica Airguns Sea Can, as always I placed a fresh paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 rounds into it from a rested and seated shooting position to allow for best possible results with as little human factor added in. I was using a 4x optical scope since the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun does not come with any type of sighting system included so I did have to sight it in initially. I did manage to get a nice 1.5 inch grouping fairly close to the bullseye but I did notice that if I angled the barrel down a bit, BB’s would roll out of the barrel which made me wonder if the hop-up was set high enough to engage a BB.
So I did my second test with the hop-up set in the middle range and this time BB’s did not fall out of the barrel when angled down. After the hop-up adjustment I did notice I was shooting a bit higher which is expected with more hop-up adjustment so if you are experiencing BB’s falling out of the barrel then make sure to adjust your hop-up a bit tighter.
All in all the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun performed very well for me especially once I got the hop-up figured out. And I do think it makes for a really nice compact Sniper Rifle if bulkiness is a factor for you, if not then checkout the Rifle version of this gun with the more traditional but-stock and longer barrel.

I would say it is not too light but for sure one of the lighter trigger s I have tested on a Airsoft rifle.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun so stay posted for that. ASG claims around 400-430 fps velocity depending on the version which is kind of weird since both have the exact same barrel length internally and I would assume both use the same mechanical part throughout? I don’t have the rifle version to compare to but I will for sure test the velocity using my Chronograph for the pistol version when I do my Field Test Shooting Review along with accuracy performance.
Build Quality: The ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun is well built for sure, it feels really solid in the hadn't and has good overall weigth to it for it’s size. You will find lots of metal parts where they need to be as in the inner and outer barrel, receiver, bolt, trigger, magazine release and I am sure most mechanical internal parts. Fit and finish is also very good.
Realism: The ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun is not a replace of any gun I know of but does have tab least the pistol version does look like a sawn off shotgun more than a sniper rifle. The gun overall all is very modern and ergonomic looking but in terms of being a replica of any specific real steel gun in production I don’t know of any it would resemble?
