In this Replica Airguns Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle to see what the actual velocity is and what kind of accuracy we can expect shooting 30 feet down range into a paper target, I shoot in both semi auto (10 rounds) and then Full auto (A bunch of rounds) to see how this will asl effect the accuracy.

Starting off with the velocity portion of this Field Test Shooting Video, I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s and averaged 384 fps. The slowest shot was 380 fps while the fastest shot was 390, so only a 10 fps spread! This is a nice velocity as it’s not too hot for indoor skirmishes or too slow for further out shooting outside.
Next I setup a fresh paper target 30 feet down range and proceeded to test out the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle in both semi auto and full auto to see what kind of grouping I could expect. I did not sight in the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as I like to see how they perform right out of the box. I did notice I was shooting a little bit high and just slightly to the left. Elevation adjustment can be easily adjusted using either the front post sight, the rear notch sight or even a little bit with hop-up so this is not a problem. There is however no way I could see to adjust windage so any corrections you may need ot make left to right you will have to do using your aim point. That said I was able to get around a 1.5 inch grouping with 10 rounds in semi auto mode.
Switching things up to Full auto so fun mode I proceeded to place a whole bunch of rounds into the target, I will estimate around 75 or so and the grouping only spread out to about 2 inches so semi or full auto you will get great accuracy with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle! The rate of fire using an 8.4 volt battery is not super fast but the cycle rate on a real steel AK47 is also not super fast but if you want to speed it up and also have a more responsive trigger then I would suggest using a higher voltage LiPo battery.
I was very impressed overall with the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as it is a relatively inexpensive Airsoft Rifle with lots of included bonuses like two magazines, a battery and charger. Even with the low price and bundled add ons it performed really well for me. SO if you are looking for an AK type Airsoft Rifle I would suggest you take a look at the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle as an option for sure!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what you will find on most electric switch controlled AEG Airsoft Guns. It has a short to mid length very light take-up with a light release which generally has a bit of a delay as the motor pulls the spring back and release the piston. This delay is shorter with higher voltage batteries as the motor will run quicker allowing for a shorter delay and also a higher rate of fire in full auto mode.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to get to that video this week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine so we will find out together when I get to my Indoor Field Test Shooting video in a couple of days.
Build Quality: Overall the Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle seems fairly well built. You will find metal parts in the barrel, front and back sights, receiver, charging bolt, bolt cover, rings, trigger and trigger guard. The plastic components would be the folding stock, magazine, RIS hand-guard, fore-grip and pistol grip. Fit and finish seem good and the overall weight is heavy but not too heavy. Internally you get a metal gear box with metal gears so you should expect to have a reliable and long lasting shooting experience with this Airsoft Rifle.
Realism: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle for sure looks the part of a more modern tactical AK47 with the majority of the mechanical parts functioning like a real steel version as in the charging bolt, bolt cover, sector switch, foldable rear stock and of course the magazine release.

Mostly metal construction with good overall weight and feel.

Adjustable sights, smaller increments on front, easy quick adjustment for elevation at distance on the back.

Comments: The Cybergun Kalashnikov AK47 Tactical Folding Stock AEG Airsoft Rifle is what I would consider a great value AEG Airsoft Rifle and there are not as many AK style Airsoft Rifles to choose from as there are AR’s so it’s nice to see this one in the lineup. You do get a lot for what you are paying, lots of metal parts externally and internally with a hefty almost 7 pound weight to it. I also like that you get everything you need to get going other than the Airsoft BB’s, so you get the battery and charger along with two 500+ magazines, they even add in a cheap sling just in case you want to throw it over your shoulder!

Took me a while to get to this Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but glad I took a look at it even if it is over 6 years already on the market. As per usual I test out the velocity shooting several ordains through my Chronograph to see what the real world fps is, I then follow this up with an accuracy test shooting 10 rounds on a paper target setup 30 feet downrange to see how tight of a grouping I can get. Starting with my Velocity Test I placed 6 rounds through my Chronograph using .20 gram Airsoft BB’s clocking in an average of 421 fps. I was very impressed with the consistency of the velocity with the lowest shot being 420 fps and the fastest shot being 422 fps only 2 fps apart! You can change out the spring super easy on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but I feel that the fps out fo the box would be good for most Airsoft games indoor and outdoor.
I then places a brand new paper target 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 rounds at it in semi auto using a seated shooting position rested on a sand bag up front. I was able to get very close to a 1 inch grouping just a tad over an inch. I did not sight in the gun so I was not surprised I was shooting rather low and just a hair to the left, this could be equally corrected by adjusting the rear sight for windage and elevation. I could also play around with the hop-up effecting elevation at different ranges. I then proceeded to shoot take some more shot in both 3 round burst adn full auto modes and as expected the groupings did spread out a bit but not a lot.
I was super impressed with eh performance of the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I don’t think I have seen velocity consistency this good in any other AEG Airsoft gun I have tested so far. Accuracy was also on point even using lighter plastic .20 gram Airsoft BB’s. My only real grip with the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is the limited battery choice since the internal storage ares is very constricted. Other than that this Airsfot Gun is a winner and worth taking a look at if you can get your hands on one.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is essentially just an on off electric switch controlled by the ECU. There is very little trigger resistance and the take up is very short allowing for quick semi auto shooting but if you like you can easily select three round burst or full auto shooting for more intense situations.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun but plan to get to that video next week. I really have no idea what to expect at this point since i have not even loaded up a magazine and taken it for a spin yet. I am sure I will not be dissapoitned as this is a very high quality Airsoft Gun with great internals.
Build Quality: I remember at SHOT Show back when ASG introduced the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun, I was told indirectly that the construction was nearly identical to the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO at least cosmetically as all the internal parts will be specificities to Airsoft. That said this is a very high quality build with the material being for the most part the same as the original with Nylon Fiber PA6 Polymer reenforced plastics and even some CNC machined metal parts as in the outer barrel, flash hidden, barrel nut and even the gear box.
Realism: The ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun is a bang on replica in terms of emulating the real steel CZ Scorpion EVO and has our weight and feel including a blot catch that locks back when out of ammo and most working components being ambidextrous.
Pros:
Build quality is almost exactly like the real steel version, super high quality materials.
Three shooting modes: semi auto, burst mode and full auto.
Decent mid capacity 75 round magazine with auto empty detection which locks the bolt catch.
Quad rail for lots of add on accessories.

Comments: On paper and just by looking over and inspecting the ASG CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 6mm AEG Airsoft Gun specs out and I am sure I will be pleased when I test it out in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting Range. That said this hasn’t happened yet so I will leave my final thumbs up until then. I do wish we had them in stock at the time of this video but there are a lot of other great ASG products in our store and of course many more brands of AEG Airsoft Guns. ASG claims around 400-430 fps velocity depending on the version which is kind of weird since both have the exact same barrel length internally and I would assume both use the same mechanical part throughout? I don’t have the rifle version to compare to but I will for sure test the velocity using my Chronograph for the pistol version when I do my Field Test Shooting Review along with accuracy performance.
Build Quality: The ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun is well built for sure, it feels really solid in the hadn't and has good overall weigth to it for it’s size. You will find lots of metal parts where they need to be as in the inner and outer barrel, receiver, bolt, trigger, magazine release and I am sure most mechanical internal parts. Fit and finish is also very good.
Realism: The ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun is not a replace of any gun I know of but does have tab least the pistol version does look like a sawn off shotgun more than a sniper rifle. The gun overall all is very modern and ergonomic looking but in terms of being a replica of any specific real steel gun in production I don’t know of any it would resemble?

Comments: I am looking forward to performing my Indoor Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG Action Army T-11 Spring Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Gun. I won’t be able to test it out perhaps as far range as I would like to since I will be shooting it in the Replica Airguns Indoor Shooting range which allows me to test at 30 feet. That should give us a good overall idea on at least what it may be capable of since if we can get a tight group at 30 feet we should also be able to get a tight group at longer ranges with proper hop-up and BB selection. I like the option of being able to choose either the Pistol or Rifle version and both should perform about the same. Having the Pistol version will allow for a much more compact Sniper Rifle option much better suited for shooting in a variety of situations.

In this Vimeo Video Field Test Review I test out the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle in the indoor Replica Airguns Shooting Range to see how accurate it is and what kind fo velocity we can expect from it.
Starting with the velocity test I averaged out 8 rounds through my chronograph using 8.18 grain lead pellets using the dual 12 gram CO2 setup and I was able to average 445 fps which is not bad as these are mid grain weight pellets, lighter weight pellets would for sure get closer to the 490 fps claimed by Umarex. The temperate was about average room temp so not overly cold or warm.
Moving on to the accuracy test I placed all 9 rounds from the rotary magazine into a fresh paper target setup 30 feet away. I use a reseted seated position in the back with the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle resting on a sand bag up front and I was using the 4 power scope for this test which I setup earlier. My final result was for sure an under one half inch grouping, I did feel like I pulled one shot a little bit but I am sure this Airgun can get quarter inch groupings at 30 feet and I would expect half inch groupings at 50 feet so perfect for mid range small pest shooting.
Umarex does adversities this Air rifle as being very quiet but in Canada we are not allowed to have any type of suppressor even on airguns so I believe this Canada version has been disabled in that regard but the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is fairly quiet for sure with its long barrel and slightly lower fps than the US version. Overall the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is a lot of bang for the buck with the added 4x scope, included magazines that hold 9 rounds each and the ability to use either a dual 12 gram or single 88 gram CO2 setup. It also looks really cool and performs just as good!

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle feels pretty good, it is fairly short and light having a claimed 3.5 pound release which is believable. You will need to obviously work the bolt for each shot that precooks the internal hammer/striker allowing for the short and light trigger.
Accuracy: I have not performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle so stay posted for that. Umarex has claimed a velocity of around 490 FPS for the Canada version I will be testing, the US version has a claimed velocity of up to 700 for those in the US purchasing this Rifle. I am sure the included 4x32 optical scope once setup will help in the accuracy department when I test this CO2 Air Rifle out on a paper target setup 30 feet down range.
Build Quality: The Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is a fairly low cost target pellet Rifle when you consider it comes with a decent optical scope along with two 9 round magazines but even so the build quality seems very solid coming in at 6.5 pounds. The stock is plastic of course but there is lots of metal where you want it to be as in the bolt, trigger, safety and most other mechanical parts.
Realism: The Umarex Fusion 2 CO2 .177 Caliber Bolt Action Pellet Rifle is not a replace of any gun I know of but does sport a very modern ergonomic look with its pistol grip and molded full stock. I like the built in picatinny rail which even though it does not offer any type of open sight configuration will allow for a variety of scope mounting options for near or far shooting.
Pros:
Low cost for a full featured Air Rifle with included scope.
Nice ergonomic modern looking design.
Ability to use either 12 gram or 88 gram CO2 cartridges.
Comes with 4x32 optical scope and all mounting hardware needed.
Come with two 9 round rotary magazines.
May be very quiet if the SilencAir technology is not disabled here in Canada?

I’ll probably use the duel 12 gram configuration for this test since I don’t plan on shooting 300 rounds with it for my testing. We should also find out if the SilencAir technology has been disabled or not with my Canada version but even so, a 500 fps Air Refile is not going to be all that loud either way at the end of the day. There are not a lot of Bolt Action multi shot pellet Air Rifles out there especially in this price range so I am really hoping it hits a home run when I test it so stay posted for that video…

The Barra Barra Schofield CO2 BB Revolver is a replica of the Schofield No. 3 single action revolver and utilizes 6 reloadable shells for a very realistic shooting experience. It is very solid in construction bing made mostly out of metal and weighs in at around 2.4 pounds. This version shots 4.5 mm Steel BBs at a velocity of up to 400 fps. It comes in a variety of barrel lengths and finishes so amen sure to have a look in our Online Replica Airguns Store for what we have available…
Next up from Umarex is the fully licensed Beretta Pietro Mod. 92 A1 CO2 Blowback Semi and Full Auto Airsoft Pistol, this product is distributed by Umarex but is made by KWC. Another solid metal pistol with a hefty 2.4 pound weigth that holds 21 rounds in its full size drop out metal magazine and offers both semi and full auto shooting at the flick of a switch!
Again from Umarex I showcase the Elite Force 1911 Tac CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol and like the Beretta Pietro it too is made in the KWC factory for Umarex. The 1911 Tac as the name suggest is a tactical version of the standard Colt 1911 but with some upgrades like a skeletonized hammer and trigger along with an ambidextrous safety, white dot sights front and back and a picatinny rail on the frame for add ons. You can expect velocity to be somewhere in the 400 fps range and the full size drop out metal magazine holds 15 Airsoft BB’s.
Type: BB Air pistol. Distributer: Crosman. Model:MAKO. Materials: Metal and polymer build. Weight: 1.71 pounds (775 grams). Barrel: 6 inches, non-rifled. Total Length: 8.6 inches Propulsion: CO2 x1. Action: Semi auto blowback, double action only. Ammunition Type: 4.5mm Steel BB's. Ammunition Capacity: 20 rounds. FPS: 425.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is a little on the heavy side since it is double action only and it is also longer again being double action only. That said it is fairly smooth and not super heavy which shoudl allow for decent action shooting. It would have been cane if the hammer could be engaged for single action shooting but the design of the Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol does not allow for this and therefore the hammer is just for show in this case.
Accuracy: I have performed my Field Test Shooting Video for the Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol which can be found here. I won’t get into too much detail but overall you can expect velocity to be in the 400 fps range with a brand new CO2 and accuracy was decent form 30 feet away but could be a bit tighter. I was surprised at how snappy the blowback action was for a light weight slide with a light spring in it.
Build Quality: The Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol feels solid enough in the hand and the materials used I am sure are on par with most Airguns out there but the gun may come across as being on the cheaper side as it lacks some of the more full features of more realistic functioning blowback Airguns. Just don’t let that make you think it is not well made as it is well made and may even be more reliable over time..
Realism: The Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol looks the part of a beretta M92 at first glance but when you get a little closer you can really tell it is an Airgun at heart which is not a bad thing since that’s exactly what it is. You will find working parts like the magazine release and slide catch release and the slide does function since it is a blowback Airguns but the Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol does have that funny inner barrel that pops out of the front every time you pull the trigger and parts like the slide safety are moulded into the slide and the hammer is just for show.
Pros:
Fairly inexpensive.
High FPS rating for a blowback BB pistol.
Easy to see Fiber Optic front and rear sights.
Multi tone color scheme looks good.
Has a pleasing tactic look to it.
CO2 tab is nicely hidden inside grip under magazine but plate.
Double action trigger pull is long but not too firm.
Picatinny rail for adding accessories.
Notched grips for a firm hold (best for larger hands)
Has a working side catch release that locks back after the last shot.
Has a surprising decent blowback action to it.
Cons:
Slide action feels clanky.
Hammer is just for show, does not do anything, no single action shooting ability.
Grips are large and will be to bog for smaller hands.
Comments: All in all the Crosman MAKO Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is a fun inexpensive CO2 Blowback BB Pistol that surprised me a bit when I actual got to shoot it. I originally though ti would feel kind of cheap to shoot but the snappy and firm blowback action and higher fps than usually found on blowback Airguns was surprising! The fiber optic sights making lining up target super easy and for a double action only shooter the trigger is not too bad so if you're a Beretta and Crosman fan then perhaps this is the pistol for you.

Today I decided to get outside since the weather was nice and make my Field Test Shooting Video for the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle (actually outside in the filed!) After all the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is a sniper rifle and so I wanted to test it out at longer ranges than my 30 foot indoor shooting range can allow for. So I setup two paper targets at around 40 feet and 80 feet out, the actually distance may have been longer than that?
Starting off my Field Test Review I placed five .25 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s through my Chronograph and averaged 446 fps which is 6 fps faster than the claimed 440 fps from ASG. And that was with .25 gram Airsoft BB’s so if I was using lighter .20 gram BB’s I would expect velocity closer to around 500fps so don’t be shooting anyone with this Airsoft Rifle at close ranges!
Next I proceeded with my accuracy test placing 5 rounds on the target setup around 40 feet downrange. I managed to get all 5 rounds within about 2 inches of each other, not bad since this is a good 10 feet more than I usually test my Airsoft Rifles at. With the remaining 10 rounds in my magazines I was hoping to get at least a couple shots on my paper target setup a good 80 feet away but did not have much luck, I even reloaded the 15 round stick magazine 2 more times and gave it a go but again with no success! The Airsoft BB’s seemed to want to angle off in all direction usually up and to the right or left right before the 80 foot target, perhaps I would have had much better luck at 60 feet?
All I can surmise from this higher range Field Test is that the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is not really a long range Airsoft gun at least with the .25 gram Airsoft BB’s I was using, maybe heavier Airsoft BB’s would settle down a bit more? I can say at ranges up to 40 feet the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle did perform just fine so keep that in mind when looking into buying one of these as smoking cans at 30-40 feet will be no problem and make for some fun times in the back yard or even basement makeshift gun range.

Trigger Pull: The double action only type trigger pull on the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is not too heavy but it is rather long so really quick rapped fire shooting will require some finger work. The trigger reset is right at the begging of the pull so you need to make sure you allow the trigger full range of motion or you may miss the odd shot.
Accuracy: I haven't done my Field Test Shooting video just yet for the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle but will shortly so stay posted for that video. ASG claimed the fps to be right around 440 and I am assuming with .20 gram Airsoft BB’s, I will most likely busing .25 gram Airsfto BB’s for my testing so I am hoping for around 400 fps or so. With the fiber optic front sight and fully adjustable rear peep sight I shoudl be able to get some decent rounds on target downrange and hopefully get a nice grouping.
Build Quality: The ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is mostly plastic but feels pretty good in the hand with decent fit and finish. There are some metal internal part along with the outer barrel and top rail but for the most part the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is all plastic including the trigger and front and rear sights.
Realism: The ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle is not a replica of any modern rifle that I know of but it does look a bit like a Beretta CX4 Storm especially the back half of it. The flash hider and top and bottom raise add to the realism. Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.
Pros:
Very customizable with rails top and bottom.
Comes with a rather nice Bipod that can be used with other rifles.
Front and back removable Iron sights are very usable, fiber optic in front, peep in back.
Safety switch is in a great location for right handed shooters.
Canada version comes with black flash hider.
Mostly plastic but solid construction.
Rubber Butt Pad is nice and thick.
Removable barrel to reduce size for easier transportation.
Also come in 4.5mm Steel BB version.
Optional Integrated laser can be added.
Cons:
DOA Trigger pull is a bit long which will slow down rapid fire shooting a bit.
Mostly Plastic Polymer build.
Why not a longer inner barrel for possible more fps?
CO2 is in the Pistol grip and not the magazine so may not be great for on field battles.
Comments: This may not be the most exciting Airsoft Rifle I have reviewed, it does look kind of cool and the price is right compared to other Airsoft Rifles. Who is it really for? I would say someone looking for an Air Rifle for plinking in the backyard or basement that perhaps want's a little bit more safety in terms of using plastic BB’s rather than Steel BB’s. Sure you can use the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle for Airsoft wars but most people want something a bit more realistic in terms of looks and function. Because the ASG TAC-6 CO2 Airsoft Rifle does have built-in Popup it shoudl be able to reach out to longer ranges so we will have to see if it can perform decent at longer ranges when I do my Field test Shooting Video.

This Table Top Comparison video is also a bit of a revisit since I reviewed the US version of the Sig Sauer ASP MPX .177 Cal. Pellet Rifle back in 2016 when it first came out. I actually had to go across the border and bring it back across with me which can be a lot of fun dealing with Canada Customs border agents. They are well meaning but often don’t fully understand their own import guidelines for Airguns. After about an hour or so I was able to convict the CBSA officer that no my Sig Sauer Airguns where not regulated Firearms and no they did not require any registration or transfer permits.
Anyway that was 5 years ago and now we have the Canada import version which makes purchasing one of the Sig Sauer ASP MPX .177 Cal. Pellet Rifles so much easier and to be honest there really isn’t any difference as far as I can tell since my original US version even though it had a claimed fps of up to 600 was actually closer to somewhere in the mid 400’s using standard .177 caliber lead pellets.

In this Field Test Shooting Video I perform my usual Chronograph and Accuracy tests in the Replica Airguns Indoor Sea Can Shooting Range to find out what the actual feet per second velocity is and how accurate the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is in both semi auto and full auto. First up I place 6 rounds through my Chronograph to see what the real world velocity is and the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle was able to average 391 fps using .25 gram plastic Airsoft BB’s. ICS claims the ICS CPX-APE SF1 is capable of fps up to 460 fps but this would be using lighter .20 gram Airsoft BB’s which I believe is entirely possible!
Next I put a fresh paper target on my metal backstop 30 feet downrange and proceeded to shoot 10 round in semi auto to see how tight of a grouping I could get. I was happy to see that 7 of my 10 rounds all grouped nicely within the 1.5 inch bullseye and only 3 came out just slightly increasing the grouping to around 2 inches but still closer to 1.5 inches. When I switched over to full auto and emptied the 300 round magazine into the target, amazingly the grouping still seemed to stay pretty close to 2 inches in diameter with some stragglers. The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle punched a satisfying hole in my target going through several layers of cardboard.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is pretty much like most AEG Electric trigger operated Airsoft Rifles. Usually mid range, light and with no real noticeable release point since it is an electric on and on switch at the end of the day and not really mechanical. Of course you can elect between semi and full auto operation at will.
Accuracy: I have not done my actual Field Test Shooting video review for the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle but plan to tackle this video next on my list so this week for sure, stay posted of this one as I have not Field Tested any ICS Airsoft Rifles to date and really don’t know what to expect!
Build Quality: The G&G ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is extremely well made as the price tag would suggest. You are going to find metal almost everywhere on this product including the all aluminum upper receiver. The only plastic I could find on the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle was in the magazine and the folding butt stock. Everything else is metal/aluminum including the upper and lowe receivers, the sights, the rails and all of the controls. Fit and finish feels great as-well!
Realism: The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is not a replica so to speak of any one particular gun in production but does have some AR and perhaps SCAR attributes to it. Perhaps there needs to be a real steel version of this gun as it does combine a bit of the best of a both platforms. The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is sold for sure with great weigth and feel to it being that it is mostly metal. All the controls work exactly like you would expect on a the real powder burner and you can totally take this Airsoft rifle apart in just a minute or two with virtually no tools.
Mostly metal construction with full aluminum upper receiver.
Tons of rail attachment options with the 5 sided Keymod rail hand-guard.
Fully adjustable pop-up iron sights.
Most everything is ambidextrous: Selector switch, Magazine release, Charging handle, Sling mount.

T-window in magazine for quick ammunition checks.
FPS is nice and high, great for longer range shooting.

May have a bit too high of fps for closer quarter indoor Airsoft games.
Comments:
The ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle is not an inexpensive product and may be a bit out of touch for Airsofters on a tighter budget. That said it is really well thought out and well built Airsoft product that is ready to go with no real upgrading required. You may want to show on an optical or red dot sigh, perhaps a tac light or fore grip? Nothing you need right away. There really isn’t one thing I can point out that makes this gun so great, it is a combination of everything. when it comes down to it the ICS CPX-APE SF1 AEG Airsoft Rifle kind of has it all going for it. I am looking forward to seeing just how well it performs during my Indoor Field Test. I have high hopes!
I am super excite to showcase three awesome rifles in this Update Preview Unboxing Video. Two of which are Airsoft and one is a Steel BB shooter, all of which are semi and full auto selectable. In this video I do a bit of an unboxing and preview of each Rifle not going into too much detail as I want to leave most of the information for my Table Top and Filed Test Videos. I may as well talk about them in the order they appear in my video so lets start with the ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle. The ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle is a mostly metal Electric Airsoft Rifle with realistic electronic blowback operation along with a CNC machined aluminum upper and lower receiver. It comes with a hi-cap 300 round magazine and a Ver 2 Full Metal ICS Split Type Gearbox. The ICS CXP APE AEG Airsoft Rifle weighs in at just under 3kg.
Next I showcase the G&G SMC9 GBB Airsoft Carbine, a unique product that converts the G&G GTP9 pistol into a a semi and full auto Carbine and includes a 50 round extended magazine, there is an even higher capacity drum magazine made for this product! Last but perhaps one that I have been the most eagerly anticipating is the Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle a twin CO2 Blowback 4.5mm Semi and Full auto AK style BB Rifle, finally a decent AK BB Rifle! The Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle has a claimed fps of 430 and shoots 1400 rounds per minute in full auto, very similar to the Crosman DPMS series of AR styled CO2 Blowback Full Auto BB Rifles. The Crosman AK1 CO2 Blowback BB Rifle comes with a 25 round magazine and swing out rear adjustable stock.
In this Field Test Shooting Video I test out the Velocity and Accuracy of the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle by first placing 5 rounds through my Chronograph and recording the feet per second for each shot and then averaging them out. For the second portion of my Indoor Shooting Performance Test I setup a paper target 30 feet down range followed by shoot 10 rounds back to back to see what the spread or grouping size is. I followed this up with a nice long full auto burst just for fun to see if the grouping still remains nice and tight.
For my Velocity test I used .25 grain Plastic Airsoft BB’s rather than the normally tested .20 in the claimed fps of over 366 fps so I was expecting to get a little bit lower velocity results. I did manage to average right around 304 fps with all shots fairly consistently with the slowest being 302 fps and the fastest hitting 305 fps.
I then setup my brand new paper target and using a rested and seated shooting position from 30 feet back I placed my first 10 rounds into the target. The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle did shoot a little bit low close to the bottom of the rings but not as low as when I tested the Heckler & Koch HK416C version, I am sure some hop-up adjustment will get this closer to the mark. I did mange to get a really tight 10 round grouping of close to half an inch with most of the BB’s hitting one o top of the other I would ahed to say this is the best 30 foot accuracy results I have gotten from any Airsoft rifle to date! Full auto was as predicted, lots of fun with a nice hole in the paper/cardboard leaving about a 2 inch opening.
The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performed really well for me and as already mentioned is crazy accurate. It had a slightly lower fps than the Heckler & Koch HK416C version which was a bit of a surprise but at 304 fps using .25 gram Airsoft BB’s this is about perfect for close quarters shooting adn even out to medium distances. This is when I discovered the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle liked to shoot fairly low even when using the raised elevation option on the rear sight. Because of this I had to aim a little bit higher on the paper target to place shoots more centered. Once I figure out my aim point I did mange to get a fairly tight 10 round grouping of close to an inch with a couple of stagers pushing it out to 2 inches. Full auto was as predicted, lots of fun with a nice hole in the paper/cardboard leaving about a 3.5 inch opening.
The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle performed well for me once I figured out that it liked to shoot rather low. I would suggest placing a bit of a spacer or riser under the rear sight to bring up the barrel at least for closer in shots where hop-up may not ark the Airsoft BB enough at that point. Other than that the Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416C V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle had super consistent performance in terms of both FPS and accuracy.

The Umarex VFC Heckler & Koch HK416 V2 AEG Airsoft Rifle has a really nice form factor allowing for a full size rear adjustable stock which will make your shooting position a lot more comfortable while still allowing for a rather compact form factor overall.
