December Christmas Update Video 2018

In this December Update Video I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If you have other beliefs and perhaps don’t celebrate Christmas in the traditional Canadian fashion then I wish you a Happy Holiday!

I received a number of products lately and really don’t have time to do full reviews of them as the Holliday season is on us which is going to limit how many videos I can pump out over the next couple of weeks so hopefully this Update video will keep everyone excited about the future Replace Airgun Videos.

Here are the items I talk about in this December 2018 Update Video:

Sig Sauer ASP M17 CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol

Sig Sauer Fake Suppressor for P226 ASP Pellet Pistol

ROHM RG-89 .380 Caliber Blank Revolver

My Favorite Air Rifles of 2018

Here we go again with another Favorite Airgun Video of 2018, this time I show you my Air Rifle Favorites! There are usually a lot less Air Rifles that come out than Air Pistols but this year was’t too bad for new and interesting Ari Rifles. As per usually there where more 4.5mm Steel BB Rifles and I am sorry to say nothing really came out at least in the Replica Air Rifle department but of course there where 6mm Airsoft rifles too.

I do mainly focus on the 4.5mm BB rifles but throw in the group a very well made and ultra realistic Airsoft Rifle that was for sure in this years Top Five!

First up on my list but not in any particular order was the Gletcher Military Precision M1944 BB Rifle styled after the Russian made Mosin Nagant. Other than the Sawn Off version the Gletcher Military Precision M1944 BB Rifle is the only CO2 Bolt Action 4.5.mm Steel BB Air Rifle you can get as far as I know. It is ultra realistic and looks the part of the real Mosin Nagant right down to the metal working Bayonet.

Next in this video I take a look at what I can say was my number one pick this year, the Crosman DPMS SBR Steel BB Rifle! When Crosman announced the Crosman DPMS SBR Steel BB Rifle at SHOT Show I was a bit surprised since Crosman is not known best for their Replica Airguns. Not only did Crosman decide to come out with an M4 Replica Air Rifle but they in fact made what I believe is the best one out there at least in 4.5mm Steel BB. It covers all the check boxes I am looking for. It’s very well made, shoots in semi and full auto with a working internal blowback bolt. All the mechanical parts work in the same way as a real M4 including being able to take apart the upper and lower receivers. I really hope Crosman took note of how popular this style of Airgun is and keeps making more product like the Crosman DPMS SBR Steel BB Rifle.

Another 4.5mm Steel BB M4 Replica that came out in 2018 is the Air Venturi HellBoy CO2 BB M4 Air Rifle. The HellBoy may not be as full featured as the Crosman DPMS SBR but it is worthy of this years Top Five. The Air Venturi HellBoy CO2 BB M4 Air Rifle is similar to how the Cybergun AK 47 BB rifles are built, using a magazine design that is basically the bulk of the working mechanism, it hold the CO2, CO2 Valve, BB’s, and even part of the trigger mechanism. The Air Venturi HellBoy CO2 BB M4 Air Rifle may not be as ultra realistic as the Crosman DPMS SBR but it’s an excellent full metal M4 Replica with decent shooting performance.

My only Airsoft contribution to this years list is the KWA LM4 RIS PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifle. I just love this Airsoft Rifle, It may not be the cheapest M4 GBB Airsoft Rifle out there but it sure is worth it. When you pick it up it just feels like quality and when you shoot it you know it’s quality, the shooting performance is awesome for a GBB Rifle. I barely noticed any cool down even when shooting off the entire magazine in full auto. If you want the most realistic M4 Air Rfile out there than the KWA LM4 RIS PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifle is going to be the one.

Last up to showcase in this years Favorite Air Rifles is the Umarex Legends MP40 CO2 BB Weathered Submachine Gun. I know the Umarex Legends MP40 CO2 BB Submachine Gun kinda came out last year but I did not get my hands on the Weathered version till only recently so I decided to put it in this years Top Five pick. The Umarex Legends MP40 CO2 BB Submachine Gun is another fine 4.5mm Steel BB Rifle in this case it’s more of a Submachine Gun. The Umarex Legends MP40 CO2 BB Submachine Gun also offers semi and full auto select fire and is a very close replace to the real steel MP40 in almost every way. The Weathered Finish and included Leather Sling really finish it off to make it super believable.

My Favorite BB and Pellet Pistols of 2018

2018 was another great year for Airguns and so I wanted to take a look at some of my favorite Air Pistols from 2018. There where many to choose for and perhaps some of them could just as easily been in my top five list but at some point I have to narrow it down and make a video for you all.

Here they are in no particular order, you may notice that most of them are from Umarex, and no I am not trying to promote Umarex over the other Airgun companies. Umarex simply brought out a lot of new products this year! I will be making a similar Favorite Air Rifle Video for 2018 so we’ll see if some of the other companies get more of a highlight…

First up we have the Umarex HK USP CO2 Blowback BB Pistol which is another full blowback full size drop out metal magazine BB Pistol that is an outstanding replica of the real steel HK USP in not only looks but also in function.

Next is the Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol. Now it may seem that the Umarex Glock 19 is a fairly basic BB pistol in that it does not have blowback operation and uses a standard stick magazine. Not always what we are looking for in a replica airgun. What the Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol offers that no other airguns has been able to accomplish so far is to bring a Glock approved license to an Airgun. Yes there are other “Glock Replicas” out there but Glock did not approve or license them so these imposters are made without Glock’s golden seal of approval. Counterfeits if you may… This Umarex breakthrough with Glock will allow for many more new Glock licensed Airguns in the future so if you want a full blowback full size mag Glock Airgun then just wait a bit and you will have one.

A nice compact CO2 Blowback BB Pistol that came out this year is the Umarex Walther PPS M2 CO2 Blowback BB Pistol. It’s basically the new version to the Standard Walther PPS. I simply just like the look and size of this Air Pistol and appreciate the engineering that went into such a small compact airgun with limited space for airgun components like a 12 gram CO2 and the CO2 valve mechanism.

One last Umarex product in my top five lineup is the Umarex SA10 CO2 Blowback BB and Pellet Air Pistol. The Umarex SA10 is very different than most other Air Pistols out there. First off it’s a blowback Airguns that shoots both BB’s and Pellets which may not be totally unusual, but it has a very unique full size magazine that stores extra rotary magazines that you can preload for easy and quick reloading. The Umarex SA10 is an all metal Airgun with a heavy construction and during my Field Test Shooting Review it performed rather well especially in the accuracy department.

Last and would you believe not an Umarex product is the Sig Sauer X-Five ASP CO2 Blowback Pellet Pistol. The Sig X-Five Pellet Pistol like the Umarex SA10 is full metal, has blowback operation and shoots Pellets, but the Sig Sauer X-Five ASP has a 20 round belt fed magazine which is something that Sig Sauer has been utilizing in their Pellet Airguns. Sure there are some other companies that have attempted to make Airguns with belt fed magazine but usually these Airguns have very heavy triggers making them almost painful to shoot. I like the fact that Sig Sauer is breaking new ground and trying to bring unique concepts and ideas to the Airgun Market.

Umarex Legends MP 40 Weathered Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun Update Review

In this Product Update Video I take a look at the Umarex Legends MP 40 Weathered Blowback CO2 BB Machine mainly to explain the differences between the Umarex Legends MP 40 Weathered and Umarex Legends MP 40 Non-Weathered versions.

I talk a little bit about the specifications but don’t go into a lot of detail since I have already made a full Table Top and Field Test Shooting Video for the Legends MP 40 Non-Weathered Blowback CO2 BB Machine Gun. Other than the finish and the addition of the leather sling that comes with the Weathered version, the two Umarex Legends MP 40 Blowback CO2 BB Machine Guns are virtually the same.

In this video I do get in nice and close with the camera so you can see how awesome the Weathered finish and Leather Sling look. Just keep in mind you will pay a bit more of a premium for the Umarex Legends MP 40 Weathered version.

Canada Post Strike 📦 Shipping Delays

Canada Post Strike Shipping Delays.jpg

Hey Everybody,

As you are probably aware Canada Post is on a rotating strike, which has caused delays in all Replica Airguns orders. To speed things along we have switched to shipping through Purolator, but there have been subsequent issues with tracking numbers and information not showing up. I want to personally assure you that when we notify you your order has shipped, it absolutely has shipped.

I am reaching out to Purolator’s management team this week and hope to have these problems sorted out soon. Unfortunately it’s the busiest season for shipping couriers and with the Canada Post strike making things even more complicated, our communications have been slow. I will do my best to get to the bottom of all this and get our shipping back on track. Your patience and support is much appreciated.

Yours truly,
Michael Kaye

KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistol Shooting Review

If you haven’t already watched my Table Top Comparison Review for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols than make sure to have a look at that video if you’re interested in more of the specifications and details and some closeup shots of both Airsoft Guns.

In this Field Test Shooting Video Review I compare the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols head to head and side by side to see how these two very similar Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Replicas perform. They both cost about the same, are built with similar quality and look a lot alike but what I really wanted to know is how do they shoot!

First off I tested out the power of both Airsoft Guns shooting 5 consistent .20 gram Airsoft BB’s from each gun through my Chronograph. Keep in mind I was using a full magazine of propane gas in the KWA M226-LE and a brand new 12 gram CO2 in the KJWorks KJ1060 (KP-01). As CO2 is know to have more power than green gas I was expecting a bit more pop out of the KJWorks KJ1060 which I did get. The temperature in my indoor Sea Can Airgun Shooting Range was 18 degree Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit) so not too cold or too hot. The KWA M226-LE averaged right around 320 fps while the KJWorks KJ1060 averaged 350 fps.

Moving on to my accuracy portion of the test for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols. I placed fresh paper targets 30 feet down range for each Airsoft pistol and put 10 rounds into each target shooting from a rested seated position. I did not adjust the hop-up or sights for either Airsoft Pistol prior to this test to see how close to the bullseye they would get out of the box. First up was the KWA M226-LE and it performed nicely for me shooting close to the bullseye, just a little bit low but getting around a 3.5 inch 10 round group. I then followed up with the KJWorks KJ1060 (HP-01) and also shot fairly near the Bullseye out of the box but the grouping opened up just a bit resulting in a 4.5 inch 10 round group. Still respectable for a close Airsoft quarters sidearm.

At the end of the day, the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols came out pretty close to each other in this head to head Filed Test Shooting Comparison Review. One shot a little bit harder while the other one was a little bit more accurate but neither was a standout in either category. I guess you’re going to have to flip a coin deciding on which one of these two very well made Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols you’re going to choose but either way you will be getting a winner here.

KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistol Comparison Review

Type: 6mm Plastic BB Airsoft Pistols.
Manufacturer: KWA & KJWorks
Model: KWA M226-LE - KJWorks KJ1060 (Sigt Sauer P226)
Materials: Metal slide & frame.
Weight: About 2.5 pounds.
Barrel: Metal non-rifled smooth bore.
Propulsion: Green Gas - 12 Gram CO2.
Action: Single and double action.
Ammunition Type: 6mm plastic Airsoft BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 24-25 rounds.
FPS: 350-400 fps

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on both the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols is very similar, they both shoot in single and double action and both actions are fairly light on the finger. I found the KWA M226-LE had a bit lighter double action trigger while the KJWorks KJ1060 seemed lighter when shooting in single action. This is all based on simply dry firing both guns to see who the triggers felt in both their single and double actions.

Accuracy: So far I have not shot either Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistol but plan to get to my Field Test Shooting Review very soon. I will be testing both Airsoft Guns out head to head to see how each performs against each other for power and accuracy.

Build Quality: The build quality for the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols is excellent. Both KWA and KJWorks make exception quality Airguns so which ever one you pick will be a good choice here. Both Airsoft Sig Sauer P226 Pistols are all metal full Blowback ultra realistic Airguns It may just come down to a few small differences. Overall I liked the fit and finish on the KWA M226-LE just a little bit more but it was very close.

Realism: In terms of realism it does not get any more realistic than this. You are going to find that the KWA M226-LE and KJWorks KJ1060 Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols mimic a real Sig Sauer P226 very closely with working parts as you would find them in the real steel version. The only tell tale sign on the KWA M226-LE is the orange tip which by they ways was not what we ordered so in future versions they will not have orange tips. The KJWorks KJ1060 comes with a CO2 magazine which is a bit elongated from the pistol grip but there are shorter Green Gas magazines for this gun available.

Available in the: Replica Airguns Store

What I like about out each gun:

  • I like that both guns have full blowback operation, full size drop out magazines, easy to use white dot sights.

  • Working de-cockers and true to form single and double action triggers.

  • I like the finish on the KWA M226-LE, it’s smoother and has stamped in branding on the slide and frame.

  • I like the Grips on the KWA M226-LE, more ergonomic and comfortable.

  • Fit and overall quality feels just a little bit better on the KWA M226-LE.

  • I like the look of the flush green gas magazine on the KWA M226-LE.

  • I like the additional power the CO2 Magazine will give the KJWorks KJ1060.

  • I like that the KJWorks KJ1060 doe snot have an orange tip.

  • I like the the KJWorks KJ1060 comes with a speed loader.

What I dislike about each gun:

  • I don’t like that either gun doe snot have adjustable sights.

  • I don’t like the orange tip on the KWA M226-LE.

  • I don’t like the way the extended CO2 mag looks on the KJWorks KJ1060

Comments:
No matter which of these two awesome Sig Sauer P226 Airsoft Pistols you may choose, you are going to love it. I am a big Sig Sauer fan and so it makes sense for me to own something like this so I can shoot it any time I want without having to go to the actual gun range and spend a boat load of money firing off real 9mm ammo. You really do get a very realistic experience shooting these ultra realistic Airsoft Pistols. They are the same size and weight, all the controls work the same, the triggers have the same weigth and feel to them, the blowback action simulates the recoil. The only difference is the cost to shoot, less recoil feel obviously and the fact that most people can shoot them safely and quality in the privacy of their own back yards.

I have some harder to get here in Canada Blank Guns that I am selling from my personal collection by way off Silent Auction. These Blank Guns are more for the Canadian collector and perhaps not so much for the first time buyer. I would recommend for the first time Blank Gun buyer that you checkout our selection off brand new ROHM Blank Guns that we sell in our Canada Replica Airguns Store so check those ROHM Blank Guns out as they are excellent German made Blank Guns in a variety of styles.

Getting back to the Blank Guns in my personal collection. They are all previously owned, most only test fired once for review. Below is a listing of the Blank Guns I am offering in this Silent Auction with what I feel is there approximate value:

Here is how the silent action system works… First of all I will only be shipping these guns within Canada to a Canadian addresses and all funds are in Canadian Funds. You will need to email me and let me know which Blank Gun or Blank Guns you are interested in bidding on and let me know what your best price is. In approximately a weeks time when I feel enough offers have come in, I will then contact the winning bidder and give them 24 hours to pay up. If they do not pay me the amount they offered within the 24 hours I will then move on to the next highest bidder.

If you are bidding on more than one gun then I will take this into consideration since collecting money and shipping product to one buyer is easier than multiple buyers so this will help you with your offer.

KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KR7 Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifle Table Top Review

Type: Airsoft Rifle (AR).
Manufacturer: KWA.
Model: LM4 RIS PTR & LM4 KR7 PTR
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 6.4 & 5.6 pounds.
Barrel: Type 3 hop-up.
Propulsion: GBB - Gas Blowback.
Action: Semi-full auto selectable SAO.
Ammunition Type: Airsoft 6mm Plastic BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 40 rounds.
FPS: 330+.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles is exactly what you would expect on an AR style rifle. You are required to pull the charging handle back for the first shot which draws the bolt back and chambers a round. The Single action trigger has very little take up and a light crisp release. Of course if you select full auto mode all you need to do is hold down the trigger until the magazine is empty!

Accuracy: So far I have not field tested either the KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles but I did throw some green gas in one of the mags and fires off a bunch of semi and full auto shots in my Sea Can Airgun shooting range. You can expect a ton of felt blowback recoil and both semi and full auto modes performed perfectly for me with no problems unloading a full 40 rounds magazine and no slow down in the blowback action.

Build Quality: The KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles are about as good as it gets in terms of build quality. They both have pretty much the same aluminum metal receivers and reenforced steal bolts. Fit and finishes is excellent everything just looks and feels great on these high end KWA Airsoft rifles.

Realism: The PTR in the name stands for “Professional Training Rifle” and the KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles not only look the part but operate as close as you are going to get to the real steal version in an Airsoft rifle. You can even interchange the stock, grips, trigger guard with MilSPec components and the same goes for the rails, all MilSpec ready. I want to mention the blowback recoil again because it is truly awesome on these rifles!

Available at the: Canada Replica Airguns StoreUS Replica Airguns Store

Pros:

  • KWA brands is one of the best out there.

  • Super heavy blowback action really bucks.

  • Really well built mostly aluminum and steel components.

  • Fully customizable MilSpec design throughout.

  • Amazingly realistic perfect for training.

  • Gas Magazine performs really well easily getting through the 40 rounds.

  • Type 3 Hop-up for extended range shooting.

  • Fully Field Strippable.

Cons:

  • GBB system has more limitation compared to an AEG, less rounds, not goof in cold weather.

  • Not the cheapest Airsoft rifles out there but worth every penny.

  • Hard to keep in stock.

Comments:

I know most go-to Airsoft rifles for game play are going to be an AEG since they are going to have a lot more rounds per mag and more consistent performance over a Gas Blowback Airsoft rifle. That said the KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles really make you want to reconsider this choice and try and figure out if perhaps you could use a Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle on the field? Sure you will need a lot of extra magazines but man is it ever fun feeling that blowback action on your shoulder and experiencing a more true to life experience shooting the KWA LM4 RIS PTR and KWA LM4 KR7 PTR Full Metal GBB Airsoft Rifles. If you want the most realistic training Airsoft rifles then it would be hard to find a better option out there.

Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle Table Top Review

Type: BB Rifle.
Manufacturer: Gletcher.
Model: Gletcher M1941 (Replica of Mosin Nagant).
Materials: Metal & plastic.
Weight: 8.2 pounds (3.7kg).
Barrel: 5.5 inches, smooth bore (inner barrel).
Propulsion: CO2.
Action: Bolt - single shot - single action.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm Steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 16 rounds.
FPS: 427fps

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant is single action only, the bolt cycle does most of the work setting up the loading of a BB into the chamber and pre-cocking the bolt spring. The take up is minimal and the release is about medium to light weight. The bolt snaps forward firmly and with a nice clanking sound, you can even feel the weight of it as it moves forward.

Accuracy: I have not shot the Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle yet but have had the opportunity to shoot the M1891 Sawn Off version. I had mixed result with the Gletcher M1891 BB Rifle since you can not shoulder the gun making it a bit unsteady while it waves around out in front of you as you aim it. When shooting it rested I was able to get much better results shooting a fairly tight 1.5 inch 10 shot grouping in my Sea Can Airgun Range. By the way my velocity testing on the Gletcher M1891 BB Rifle resulted in an average of 430 fps.

Build Quality: The Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle is really well made, you can tell by it's robust weight and how solid the action feels when you draw the bolt back and release it the first time. Everything that would be metal on the real Mosin Nagant is metal on the Gletcher M1944 including the full size dropout magazine that holds both the BB's and CO2. Yes the stock is imitation wood but it looks very close to real wood and will fool most people until very close inspection. The overall finish on the Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle looks great.

Realism: I've never actually put my hands on a real steel Mosin Nagant Rifle but from the photos I viewed online, the Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle really accurate in terms of being a BB replica. Of course the magazine has been adapted to fit CO2 and BB's but once placed in the gun it is nearly impossible to tell it from a real Mosin Nagant. The weight of this rifle (8.2 pounds) gives it the feeling of genuineness. I have read online that a real Mosin Nagant stock can be adapted to fit the Gletcher M1944 so that would indicate that it is fairly true in size and construction to a real Mosin Nagant Rifle.

Pros:

  • Very Unique BB gun.

  • A piece of history you can shoot in your back yard.

  • Mostly all metal gun.

  • Nice heavy 8.2 pound weight to it.

  • Adjustable rear sight, at least for elevation.

  • Nice single action trigger.

  • Bolt action feels great and has a firm release.

  • Full size drop out metal magazine that holds both the BB's and the CO2.

  • More fps than claimed and decent accuracy, I expect to get lots of shots out of a single CO2 because of the magazine design.

  • Imitation wood is very believable.

  • Comes with sling.

  • Breaks down similarly to the real steel version, so maybe able to upgrade parts like the stock with a little bit of work.

Cons:

  • Stock is plastic but looks good considering.

  • No real way to adjust windage and the rear sight does wiggle a bit from side to side which could throw off the aim.

  • Bayonet may scratch the stock a bit?

  • Price point may make it out of range for some buyers?

Comments:

The Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle is a great option for anyone looking for a historic bolt action Rifle but in a BB version. It for sure looks and acts the part but in a much quieter and backyard friendly version. Sure yo can get the Gletcher M1891 Sawn Off version ofr about half price but to really get the full Mosin Nagant experience you are going to want to have the larger full size Gletcher M1944 Mosin Nagant CO2 BB Rifle, no two ways around it. Being abel to shoulder the gun makes it way more natural and easier to shoot.

KWC Mini UZI Most Commonly Asked Questions

There has been some confusion when it comes to the KWC made Mini UZI regarding semi and full auto abilities and also when it comes to build materials. But before we get into that if you have one of these Mini UZI Blowback BB or Airsoft guns then most likely yours is made by KWC even if it was distributed through RWS, Umarex, Gletcher, Cybergun or some other company. When it comes to the build materials used they are all made by KWC so they are all built the same with plastic and metal in the same places.

Let’s first talk about why some of these Mini UZI’s only come in semi auto with the Full auto selection not available out of the box. This is most likely because in some countries a full auto BB and/or Airsoft gun can be illegal so to play it safe many airguns that are originally made to shoot in both semi and full auto are modified to only shoot full auto. This is the case with most of the companies that redistribute the KWC Mini UZI under their own brand name. That said if you buy the KWC Mini UZI in either 4.5.mm Steel BB or 6mm Plastic Airsoft from our Replica Airguns Canada or US Online Stores, you will be getting a full auto ready out of the box airgun!

If your MINI UZI Airgun is not full auto ready then checkout my Full Auto Mod Video but make sure before you do this modification it is legal in your country to do so or you could be looking at jail time :(

When it comes to build materials the KWC Mini UZI is often described on websites as being full metal which is close but not entirely true. It is accepted that most full metal airguns will have plastic grips but the KWC Mini UZI also has a plastic shroud around the main receiver that is am all in one piece that makes o=up the front and back sights. This might lead you to think that the gun is mainly plastic which is far from the case since all other parts like the receiver block, bolt, top plate, barrel, rear stock, trigger and magazine are metal. This give the KWC Mini UZI its sold 4.8 pound weight. The heavy metal internal bolt really makes this blowback airgun rock when you shoot it simulating very close recoil action to a 22LR. The KWC Mini UZI for sure has the most blowback recoil out there.

If you are looking for the most bad ass and action packed full auto BB or Airsoft Gun then I would highly suggest you consider getting one of these KWC Mini UZI’s. Just be sure to have lots of CO2 and BB’s on hand because you will go through both like crazy…

Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: Walther PPS M2.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 1.25 pounds (567 grams).
Barrel: 3.34 inches, metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto single action only trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 18 round drop out metal stick magazine.
FPS: Claimed 340.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is single action only so you will need to rack the slide before you can fire off the first shot. The trigger reset does not change even when cocked so there is a fair amount of take-up but it is very light right up until the release where you then feel the actual trigger pull. The release weight is fairly light.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol but I have shot the original Umarex Walther PPS and it did fairly well getting a 2 inch grouping with one of my 10 shot strings. I was also able to get around 370 fps results when testing the original Umarex Walther PPS with my Chronograph. Hopefully the new updated Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol will perform equally as well?

Build Quality: The Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is not super heavy but because of its small size it does feel solid in the hand. Fit and finish are both good and you will find metal parts in all the right places like the slide, trigger, barrel, magazine, slide catch release and lost of other metal parts internally.

Realism: The Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is a really good replica when compared to the real steel version. For the most part it is really hard to tell them apart just looking at them. One difference is the trigger, you will find a trigger safety on the real steel version versus no trigger safety on the BB firing airgun. I am not talking about the cross bolt safety here as this is also unique to the Airgun version and not on the real still pistol.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • A lot like the previous version PPS but more modern looking with smoother edges.

  • Nice overall believable replica of the real steal Walther PPS.

  • Fully Walther licensed via Umarex.

  • Easy to use and see white dot sights front and back.

  • Great small size weight and feel to it.

  • Working slide catch and release locks back after last shot.

  • Fit and finish is good.

  • Smart built in Allen key/spring system.

  • Stick mag but the butt plate hides the CO2 screw nicely.

  • Recessed barrel looks the part.

  • Expect decent blowback feel since it has a heavier slide spring than the previous PPS and that version even had decent blowback recoil for its size.

Cons:

  • Not field strip-able.

  • Only partial blowback action with stick magazine.

  • Comes in clam shall packaging and has ugly warning instructions on slide.

Comments:

I like the format of these small compact conceal cary gun like the ASG Bersa BP9CC, of course the first generation Umarex Walther PPS Blowback and now the new Umarex Walther PPS M2. Small sized compact guns like the Umarex Walther PPS M2 here in Canada are considered Prohibited making them off limits for most Canadians even with valid Restricted handgun licenses so the BB firing version many be as close as you are going to get to owning a prohibited pistol here in Canada. I look forward to putting the Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol though its paces when I do my official Field Test Shooting video here in the Airgun Sea Can Shooting Range.

Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol Table Top Review

Type: Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.
Manufacturer: Distributed by Umarex.
Model: HK USP.
Materials: Metal & Polymer.
Weight: 2.15 pounds (975 grams).
Barrel: 4 inches, metal non-rifled.
Propulsion: CO2 x 1.
Action: Semi auto single and double action trigger.
Ammunition Type: 4.5mm steel BB's.
Ammunition Capacity: 16 round drop out full size metal magazine.
FPS: Claimed 325.

Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol feel good in both single and double action modes. Single action has a reduced reset with very little take-up before it release, the trigger weigth in single action is fairly light. In double action the trigger pull starts out a bit longer and heavier but then lightens up just before it releases. This will only be for the first shot since follow up shots will be single action afterwards.

Accuracy: At this point I have not shot the Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol so I can only quote what Umarex is saying in terms of FP2 which is 325. That's sounds about right for a full blowback CO2 BB pistol in this style. We will find out when I get to my Field Test Shooting Video  for the Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.

Build Quality: The Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol looks to be really well made. It's super solid at 2.25 pounds with a nice balance since the slide and magazine are both full metal. There is virtually no slide play but I am noticing just a little bit of paint wear around some of the high spots and in the breach area. This is common with KWC Airguns which may be the actual manufacturer of this Air Pistol, either KWC or VFC, I'm not sure?

Realism: The Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is virtually identical in looks to the Real Steel HK USP, it also functions nearly the same with it's full blowback operation, full size drop out metal magazine and working slide catch, safety and single and double action trigger. Thanks to Umarex the Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol is full HK licensed also helping to pull of a believable replica.
Available From: The Replica Airguns Store.

Pros:

  • Full blowback action with full size drop out metal magazine, what we all love to see!

  • Fully field strippable.

  • Metal parts where where you would find them on the real steal HK USP.

  • Very accurate replica of the original HK USP.

  • HK Licensed via Umarex.

  • White dot sights easy to sight in your target.

  • Single and double action trigger.

  • Rail for accessories.

Cons:

  • Not a big fan a of the clamshell packaging, makes the gun seem cheap even before you actually hold and feel it.

  • Sights are none adjustable.

  • Warning writing on the right side of slide is a bit obvious.

Comments:

I really didn't mind the previous non-blowback CO2 BB version of the HK USP as it had a full size metal magazine and metal slide making it feel great in the hand while still looking the part. That said having a full blowback version with a true single action trigger makes this the obvious choice for me. I'm really looking forward to shooting my Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol and seeing what kind of fps velocity and accuracy we get from it in the Sea Can!

Umarex Care Package Update Video - HK USP Blowback - Walther PPS M2 Blowback

I got a nice little care package in the main the other day from Umarex, I did have to pay some brokerage fees, duties and taxes but I still got off easy since my care package from Umarex contained three CO2 BB pistols. The Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol, the Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol and I got another Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol for some double handed Glock action if the urge ever comes over me...

All three licensed guns are really great, you already know my thoughts on the Umarex Glock 19 CO2 BB Pistol since I have previously made  bunch of videos on it already. I also have reviews for the Umarex Walther PPS but not the M2 version which is the one that came in my care package. The new Umarex Walther PPS M2 is a much more modern and smoothed out version of the PPS. The standard PPS kind of looks a bit like a flattened out Walther CP99 While the Umarex Walther PPS M2 is a lot more unique.

I do have to say I really like the new fully licensed Umarex HK USP Blowback version, Umarex has had their non blowback HK USP out for a long time but it is pretty basic with no blowback or working slide but it does look the part and shoots pretty good. The new Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol has everything we like in a replica Airgun: Full blowback operation, a full sized all metal drop out magazine that holds the CO2 and Steel BB's. Metal parts where you would expect them like the slide, hammer, trigger, magazine release, magazine, slide catch release and even the removable sights. Of course there are lots internal metal parts too like the barrel, springs and pins.

Look forward to my upcoming Table Top and Field Test Shooting Video Reviews for the Umarex HK USP Blowback CO2 BB Pistol and the Umarex Walther PPS M2 Blowback CO2 BB Pistol.

DJI Spark Fly More Combo Unboxing Video

What? Another Drone? Is Replica Airguns becoming a drone review channel... No I am not going to be reviewing drones as a habit but I did decide to upgrade my Yuneec Breeze 4K to a DJI Spark for a number of reasons.

Reason number one it's a DJI and they simply make some of the best Drones you can buy for the money. The main reason I ultimately went with the DJI Spark is because it just takes better quality 1080p Video which is what I'm after. It does this because it has a dedicated 2 axis mechanical gimbal that smoothes out the video even before the internal stabilization gets to it and make the video look even smoother so the end video output is incredibly smooth!

Some other reasons I feel the DJI Spark Fly More Combo was a better option for me are: It's super small, it was not really a lot more expensive, it has better tracking technology and can even understand hand and arm gestures for flying without even using a remote of any kind. The DJI Spark can fly faster and much farther than the Yuneec Breeze and has a little bit better battery run time.

In this DJI Spark Fly More Combo Unboxing Video I open the box for the first time and take a look at what you get inside. I had not flown the DJI Spark or even checked it out yet so everything is new to me and I am seeing it first hand and for the first time. I can say it is way smaller than I thought it was going to be. Look forward to some cool drone video on the channel in some of my upcoming videos...
